I am a drug addict.
If drugs were to be at the top of the list of the biggest threats to our Golden State today, there would be few people who would deny it. If we look at the pages of newspapers and journals, we see news of drug seizures, murders, robberies, and other attacks every day, and now cartoonists have even mocked us by saying that if we hold a newspaper, we can smell blood. A GTC student stabbed his biological mother with a knife, a son cut his biological father with a knife, and the value of the seized drugs was billions of kyats. There are so many scary stories. It is a fact that such rare and horrific deaths are the side effects of alcohol and drug use. ,
That is why the recent number of crimes indicates that despite the plans and strict punishments taken by the national government, the incidence of crime has not decreased. Therefore, how to devise and implement measures to prevent young people, especially those who have not tried drugs, from going astray is a major issue that everyone must consider. In order to reduce drug use and distribution, the author fully believes that it is urgent to plan, arrest, and punish extensively, and on the other hand, it is necessary to carry out extensive awareness-raising activities. Therefore, based on the life of a drug addict who has been through more than 20 years, I have written a book about the life of a drug addict who has experienced it from here so that future generations will not become victims of drugs.
Before you start reading this article, I would like to say one bold statement about drugs: never try drugs, because if you do, you will never stop. Don't believe me, the author is now 54 years old. If heroin was easily available to you, you would still smoke it in the lowest grade of cigarettes. If someone who was addicted to drugs and has quit for various reasons says that he has completely quit, bring him a cigarette with him. If he doesn't say, "Hey, I'll do a patch for you too," I challenge you to hit the author with your shoe as much as you like.
The most important thing to say is that drugs are very good. They are so good that people should not abuse them. People should not abuse themselves, because if they use them, they will only ruin their lives and nothing else will happen. If you look at the wars that have been fought in the world over opium, you can already imagine how dangerous this substance is.
I remember reading a story about opium. Long ago, a fairy from heaven and a prince from earth fell in love. Let's say that the time came for the fairy to return to heaven. So the fairy gave her beloved prince a small flower as a souvenir and planted this flower. When the flowers bloomed, he would return. But before he returned, he must not let anyone else smell the fragrance of the flower, for if they did, all mankind would suffer. Be careful about that, and then he returned to heaven.
As soon as the fairy returned to heaven, the flower she had given her began to bloom, and the prince fell asleep after inhaling the fragrance of the flower. While the prince was sleeping, people came nearby and saw the flower. The flower was so beautiful and the smell was so enchanting that they took it away. One by one, they planted it and it grew. Today, the lover that the fairy left behind has come to meet him. It is not for nothing that the flower that the fairy gave to her lover was a poppy. The flower that the fairy gave to her lover as a gift was cruelly taken away by humans, and a curse was placed on him that whoever smells the flower's fragrance would be destroyed.
Even though it's a story, it's so similar to what we see today that I'm starting to wonder if opium poppy was reserved for fairies and gods, and that humans are using it excessively, ruining many lives.
