Chapter (1)

How to give a boxing match to your father-in-law

I believe that the emerging wisdom beings, whom many call the Bodas, truly exist in the world with us, even though they are in a different dimension from us.

I also think that if they want to communicate with humans, they can communicate in many ways. They can communicate through psychic means. They can also speak directly to us. They can also manifest themselves through their own imagination. They have the power to control the elements in the world.

The difficulty is us. If we want to communicate with them, how do we do it? It is only by striving to sharpen our spiritual powers that we can communicate. Doing this is not easy. Not to mention gaining spiritual power, it is not easy to even achieve samadhi.

How do we connect with them? There is only one way. We must live in a way that makes them want to connect with us. We must also constantly desire to connect with them.

When I first started researching the ancestors, I was lucky enough to meet Ab Chit (aka U Khin Maung Chit). He saved me from the dangers of those who boasted and boasted. He was the brother of the famous movie actor Khin Maung Yin, who became famous as Bo Aung Din. He explained to me in simple terms.

“You’ve heard the saying, ‘Eighty thousand wizards,’ right? There are not a few wizards who have emerged. Even in the recent past, there were 64 or so wizards. But not all of those wizards communicate with people. As far as I know, only Bo Bo Aung and Bo Min Khaung have a lot of communication with people. Read the book ‘The Oath’ written by Bo Tara (Thirty Comrades). There, you will see Bo Bo Aung communicating with the writer. Bo Min Khaung communicates with people more than Bo Bo Aung. So, Bo Min Khaung’s communication methods and methods are more talked about among people.”

I also expressed my thoughts on fatherly love.

“Dear Father, if this is the case, we’ll just have to sit and wait for our father to contact us. Can’t we start communicating?”

My father looked at me and replied.

"Then you'll have to put up an antenna."

"Antenna, right? What antenna should I install?"

"You have an antenna at home to watch TV, right?"

"I'm in prison"

“That’s right, if you want to watch TV, you have to set up an antenna, and if you want to communicate with Bo Min Khaung, you have to fight Bo Min Khaung.”

“Yes, dear, if I give you a boxing match, can you contact me?”

“Not just this, we also need to live the kind of life that Bo Min Khaung likes.”

"How do you like to live, my dear?"

“I like a religious lifestyle, so if you want to give me a boxing match, I’ll have to give up alcohol first.”

At that time, I was still in the early stages of becoming religious. I had started reading some religious literature, but I had not yet held a rosary, had not yet practiced meditation, and was still living the life of a human prince.

“If you want to cut it, I will cut it, my dear. I am very interested in those ancestors. Their lives, their purposes, their intelligence. I think that if I could communicate with them, my intelligence would also be higher. And my doubts about whether they really exist could be cleared up.”

In my mind, I thought that if I had contact with Bo Min Khaung, I would ask for permission to write a biography.

How strong is my desire to connect with my father? I have stopped drinking alcohol every day. As my father said, I recite the nine Buddha's praises every day and regularly pray one rosary. My friends and colleagues were surprised by my sudden change, saying that I was like a bottle. They asked me why I had stopped drinking. I did not answer them truthfully. I explained that I had to stop drinking for health reasons and family finances. When I said that I would not die if I continued to drink, my friends did not dare to force me. Even so, some were curious. They asked me if it was affecting my lungs or my liver. I answered firmly that it was affecting my liver.

I told the parents the truth. They were happy. What parent wouldn't be happy that their son had given up drinking? They were grateful for their father's love, just as they were grateful for their father's love.

After about a month of abstaining from alcohol, taking the five precepts, and praying the rosary every day, my father-in-law led a Bomin Khaungkan-to (a traditional dance) at my house.

A week before the match, Ab Chit explained in advance how to play the match.

“The day of the kanto event must be the birthday of the person who will be hosting the kanto event. It would be best if it was held at exactly nine o’clock in the morning. Isn’t it Na Win’s time?”

In the world of astrology, the world of spirits, and the world of matter, Nawin is highly regarded.

“If you are giving a Bo Min Khaung Kan To ceremony, you cannot give a ceremony dedicated to the teachings of the Buddha. You must first place the religious ceremony and then place the Bo Min Khaung Kan To ceremony. The religious ceremony should be placed on the altar or directly in front of the temple. The Bo Min Khaung Kan To ceremony should be placed on the left side of the altar (on your right side when facing the altar), lower than the religious ceremony. It is better to have a separate table.”

My house has a large temple. In front of the glass temple where the Buddha image is located, there is enough space for religious ceremonies. On a lower level than the temple, there is a platform made of two boards, which is intended for offering food and lighting oil lamps. The platform protrudes to the left and right sides of the temple. It is convenient to place the Bo Min Khaung Kan To ceremony at the left end.

“When presenting the festival, as usual, the coconuts to be presented must be free of blemishes, the rat tail must not be loose, the rat tail must not be broken, and the banana must be the same. It must not have any marks from being cut with a knife, and it must be free of blemishes.”

As my father explained, I remembered a friend who had told me about the ancient symbols used in the kanto festival, which used coconuts and bananas. The banana and banana palms resemble human hands, and the coconut resembles a human head. The friend said that the symbols were created to look like a person with his hands raised and about to kick. He said it was not bad. Whenever I see the coconut festival and the banana festival, my vision immediately appears with the symbol of kicking. -

“When we play, we use a ceramic bowl like everyone else. As far as I remember, my father didn’t like using a ceramic bowl. He asked us to use a kortaw. To kortaw means to “beg,” and after we started playing, we would ask for the prize we wanted.”

It's natural for Father Chit to say that. In matters like this, names and rules are important.

“So you need to buy two baskets. For the religious festival, you need to carry five baskets of bananas, so buy a large basket. For the Bodaw festival, you need to carry three baskets, so buy a small basket. You go to Tamwe Market. There are shops selling baskets near Tamwe Market.”

Father Chit also pointed out the location.

“When playing, some people use Rakhine bananas with the symbol ‘Marat Khaing Aung’, while others use sweet bananas with the symbol ‘Thiyin Hmwe Aung’. We use ‘Phee Kwan’ bananas to get the ‘Min Khaung’ quality. The names ‘Min Khaung’ and ‘Phee Kwan’ are a combination of the ‘Thai Phee Nam’ and ‘Tani La Nam’, which are the ‘Gabba Kwan’ qualities.”

"Dear father, please do this: make me a list of the items I need to buy, so I can buy them accurately."

"Take the paper, follow along, I'll tell you."

When I followed everything my father said, I came up with a list of things to buy for the religious festival and the Father-in-Law's Day celebration.
