Chapter - 1
Use methods that enhance your productivity.
"If you don't do it... nothing will work."
- Maya Angelou (poet and activist)
Making things happen with your own creativity means being able to best address important projects with deadlines and issues that are fraught with difficulties.
Certain types of work are sometimes blessed and sometimes cursed, leading to dire consequences.
Some job skills can be classified based on the number of hours worked.
Try to arrive early before work hours.
You need to train yourself to arrive an hour early before your daily work starts.
Trying to get to work early before your scheduled start time can be a bit daunting at first. However, once you arrive early and there are no distractions, you will find that you can fully immerse yourself in your work and get the job done with greater focus and concentration.
This way, you will learn to appreciate the benefits of arriving at work a few hours early and develop the habit of arriving early for work in any future workplace.
As the saying goes, “The early bird gets the best of everything.” Those who wake up early have increased physical strength and mental energy, which allows them to complete all tasks with the ability to control everything during the day.
So, those who wake up early and arrive at work early will have the opportunity to achieve success earlier than others.
Hours of high energy
When you wake up in the morning, first thing you do is check who sent you emails. Then open your social media accounts and search for information that might be useful to you.
When you arrive at work an hour early, you will feel refreshed and at your peak during the first hour of your day. If you can start your day off right in the first hour, you will be more likely to succeed in everything you do throughout the day.
Wear the uniform specified by the job neatly.
No matter what department you work in, you must wear a specified uniform in a neat and tidy manner.
Wearing a uniform neatly will increase your self-confidence in carrying out your responsibilities and accountability, and will also foster mutual respect in your interactions with superiors and subordinates.
Keep statistics about your business operations.
No matter how advanced modern technology becomes, at the beginning of each week, write down what you are working on and what your weekly goals are.
Include in your weekly lists what business challenges you will face and what interim tasks you will need to complete.
Quality upon quality,
Many tasks cannot be considered easy to perform due to the continuous work.
Our brains are not always alert and refreshed, but tend to become sluggish with fatigue.
Instead of constantly forcing a tired brain to work, we need to give it enough rest to refresh it. Therefore, it is not enough to say that you are successful by continuously doing tasks that require your brain, but only when your brain is clear and fresh can you truly say that you have completed your work successfully.
So, rather than resting after a hard day at work, take a 30-minute break after each difficult task.
Work on only one task at a time.
You should focus on one task at a time to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Set a specific lunch time.
Set a specific time for your lunch. It's best to eat your lunch in a place away from computers and phones so that you can eat in a straight line. If you want to give your brain a break and recharge, avoid multitasking for long periods of time.
Work in a divided role
Check for incoming emails and messages while you are performing your work duties. Separate tasks into different roles.
Be careful not to let your mobile phone's "notification settings" interfere with the processes you are focused on. Only think about tasks that will relax you after you have completed important tasks for your business.
Be aware that your phone's frequent message alerts can be distracting. Divide your time between shopping at the supermarket and completing your household chores.
Think deeply and often.
Make a list of your daily tasks and think about each one carefully. That way, you will know how efficiently you can complete each task for the day.
By thinking carefully and repeatedly about every task you undertake, you will gain valuable insights to help you continue to improve your business.
Your good ideas become important investments in achieving your goals in the long term.
Set a deadline and implement it.
When you get into the habit of working with deadlines, you can improve the quality of your work and effectively reduce unwanted procrastination.
It's good to focus on completing your tasks before the deadline you set, but you shouldn't set unrealistic goals. Whether you're self-employed, a corporate employee, or a government employee, setting deadlines for each of your tasks will help you perform at your best, depending on the nature of your work.
By working with specific deadlines for each type of task, you will be able to allocate enough time to each type of task and be successful.
It is better to complete a task to the required level than to complete it flawlessly.
The habit of working flawlessly in every aspect of a job can sometimes be an enemy that hinders business progress.
While we want to optimize each project in detail, the main focus should be on year-to-year progress according to the business plan.
Therefore, rather than focusing on flawless execution, we should focus on improving the process step by step.
