The roads to success, one day at a time

Chapter (1)

Dream (every day)

“I have infinite power behind me. I have infinite possibilities before me. I have limitless opportunities all around me. What have I to fear?”

Stella Starbuck

Nurture your dreams like your children.

Do you care for your children? You may never think of your dreams of success in life as your children. But they are. They are your present happiness and your future hopes. Protect your dreams. Nourish them. Nurture them. Encourage them to thrive. Take care of them. At some point, you may receive love back from your dreams.

“Treating your future visions and your dreams as if they were the children of your mind is the greatest foundation for endless success.”

Napoleon Hill

A lesson from a farmer

A young man with a journalism degree from the city gets a job as a journalist at a newspaper. One day, his first assignment is to interview a large farmer who lives on a farm about 20 miles from their town.

As they sat on the porch in front of the farmer's house, the young man asked the farmer the first question...

"What time do you go to work, uncle?"

Then the farmer replied, "My son, I never go to work. I live between jobs."

We can learn a lot from his answer. Opportunities for us are like the farmer's field. Opportunities are everywhere, at all times. The problem is that we think of opportunities as something we have to go for. No one notices that they are all around us.

As you go about your daily life, keep your eyes open to the world around you. If you don't see opportunities for success in your life, remember that it's not because they don't exist. Everyone is surrounded by opportunities. The easiest thing to do is to focus your eyes and senses and see them. Then, grab them and make them happen.
