Life plan
While browsing through books at the bookstore, I came across a strange book. It was called Life Plan. I was a little interested in the life plan. After reading the book a little, I found that the author has divided the topics into 700 ways to improve people's lives by discussing different aspects of life. The book uses short methods that will be useful for personal development and life, so it is very easy to read, so I have translated and shared it.
Some of the sub-topics included in this book are about the important things in life, such as health, success, family life, money, etc. Under the relevant topics, we discuss in detail how to draw up a life plan. This month, let's start with the introduction of success.
1)
Success What does success mean to us?
The definition of success varies from person to person. We define success in different ways. We strive to achieve that definition of success. Why is it different? Why is success not the same for us? The answer is that each of us has different motivations, beliefs, customs, habits, environments, and journeys. When these are different, our desires will also be different. Ultimately, success will also be different.
Humans want success very much. Success is often at the top of everyone's life plans. Everyone wants to be successful. So, scholars who are interested in human affairs conduct surveys, draw conclusions, and analyze data. They study how success is defined, what motivates people, what people consider success when they achieve it, and so on.
When I summarize success, I see three things. People think that success is...
[1] How much do you own, what do you own, etc.
[2] Recognition, such as how well-known it is and why it is well-known
(3) I think about my actions based on these three factors: how beneficial they are, for whom they are, and my ability to perform them.
Different successes
In general, there are 10 types of success. They are...
(1) Material Success
For example, you get money, cars, gold, silver, and jewelry.
[2] Emotional Success.
For example, what you believe in, what you are like,
And so on.
( 3) Intellectual Success.
For example, you can learn and understand texts and events more than others.
( 4) Spiritual Success.
For example, point number 3 above, related to performance and purpose.
(5) Physical Success.
For example - health, beauty, etc.
[6] Commercial Success.
For example, company profits, reputation, business expansion.
(7) The influence and success called Evangelical Success.
For example, being able to influence others, being a role model.
( 8) Environmental Success.
For example, at home, at school, in the environment.
( 9) Time Success is a success related to time.
For example, when it comes to time, you can spend more time than others.
(10) Collective Success.
For example, the results achieved by the group are better than others and they receive awards and shields.
How do you define success for yourself?
People see success differently. They have different perceptions. Everyone's success is different. So you have to set your own goals for how you will succeed. If you are building a building... Before you actually build it, draw a sketch so you can compare it to yourself. Here are 10 things that can help you visualize (what) your personal success building will look like..
Money
People often associate success with money at first. But in the long run, you will find that more than enough money does not bring you happiness. Your goal is the amount of money. If not happiness, the more money you have, the more successful you will be.
Health
It is also important to stay healthy. The definition of success can change depending on your health. For someone who is not healthy, success is the effort to get better. If you are healthy, success is a different story.
Love
Love is the most important thing in success. Whether it is because of the motivation of the person you love or because of the person who loves you, love is often used to describe success. After all, without love, life is empty.
Comfort
The human body can do more work if it is well-rested, well-fed, and warm. When trying to achieve success, comfort also needs to be considered.
Learning
Universities and colleges only show you how to learn. The real learning environment is outside of you. Successful people often say that they are lifelong learners. Life's lessons never end. So learning is directly related to success.
Fun
Not all successful people are always working. They usually have a sense of humor. They often make time for their own entertainment. So don't forget to have fun when planning your life.
Giving
Success is also about giving. You can also be successful by helping others. Although there are different definitions of success, everyone who is successful tends to have a spirit of giving and helping others.
Medals
The awards, medals, and honors you have received are also important in defining success. Why?
The above are awards for your work. The increase in these awards and medals is because your work has been successful.
Change
Nothing is fixed. Everything is changing. A consistent, fixed mindset is useless for success. Only by accepting and responding to a changing environment can you achieve your desired goals. So, don't forget that change is the key to success.
Property
It's good to buy expensive things, things you like. But how much you can afford is not the true measure of success. Sometimes, even a small card worth 1,000 kyats can be important to your success.
So, after knowing the above , here are 10 questions to ask yourself to define your personal success.
The questions are:
1. What are the three things you want most out of the above?
2. Why are these things the most important and desirable to me?
3. What should be prioritized first? Why?
4. Do you have the ability to actually achieve those things?
5. By what standards will I measure my actions?
6. Where do I start? What is the first step?
7. Who should I involve in my success?
8. What can they do to help me?
9. How do you know if you have their participation? How do you encourage them to participate?
10. Once I have those three, what is my next goal?
After answering these questions, you will have a rough idea of your building, as mentioned above. Then, you can start building based on that idea. The foundation needs to be strong.
