Love of children, love of grandchildren,
Despite the rumors,
Grandparents are more important than their children.
Do you love your granddaughter more?
No, five hundred and twenty-eight kinds of love are the same. However, in the loving community, grandchildren are more obedient and patient than children.
Because by the time grandparents have grandchildren, they are older, have more life experience, are less greedy and angry, and have a more tolerant spirit.
Their lives have become narrower and narrower. Some of their childhood friends are gone. Those who are still there are far away and rarely see each other. It is difficult to visit each other. The general pains of old age have made them reluctant to leave the house.
Therefore, their only companions in their confinement at home are their grandchildren. They have to live with their grandchildren, who are not yet able to go to school, and their grandchildren, who are not yet able to go to school.
They have no other entertainment, so they only find happiness with their grandchildren. They don't want to hear children cry. They just want to see them happy. They don't like parents beating their children, hey... they're just children, don't cry, give them what they want, feed them what they want. They always advocate for their grandchildren. Now, children don't want to be afraid of their parents and rely on their grandparents.
Therefore, some say that children are the head of the parents, while grandchildren are the head of the grandparents. In fact, grandparents and grandchildren are people who meet briefly in the human world.
Last Thadingyut, the writer Ma Sandar Maung and her husband came to visit me with their little daughter. Their daughter was about three months old. Oh, oh
"Hey... Are you and your daughter so beautiful? Is it okay to eat so much chewing gum?"
"Yes, sir, I can't say. I've been eating all these things all my teeth are now just stumps," he said, his mouth wide open.
"Hey... not one tooth is good anymore, that's a shame. Be careful when your little girl starts teething, she'll be left with a mess of crooked teeth and crooked teeth."
When I think about the child, I realize that Ma Sandar and his wife are both full-time workers and go to the office every day, so this child must be the one who spends most of his time at home with his grandparents. So if grandchildren are not his grandparents, whose grandchildren is this child? Just as the saying goes, "You know your blood, you know your eyes," and "You know your feet," the saying goes, "You know your grandfather," but Thin is the granddaughter of Sayar Mann Tin. Why did Ma Sandar call Sayar Mann Tin's daughter?
A few days after Mr. Sandar and I came to my house, on 6-11-83, at the celebration of the anniversary of the birth of Master Pi Moe Ning, I met Master Mann Tin and we talked about his grandson.
“Oh, my, this kid’s teeth are bad, and he’s getting fat from eating too many sweets,” said Teacher Man Tin with a “smile.”
We Burmese people used to fight against teachers, both adults and children. It was like saying, "Father, I can beat you, I can beat the big rooster." So, after the Sandar couple started fighting me, a few days later I went to see Teacher Min Thuwan to fight...
Aung Mae Lay....., Teacher Thuwan's grandson is also a different kind of person. There was a monkey running around the house. Why did this kid keep running? I peeked in from the side, wondering if he would stop... Grandma was eating her rice. She was eating in front of the house, running out the back, and eating in the back, running back to the front. Grandma was holding the rice bowl and following her.
Oh... I can't get tired of this, my grandmother's heart is filled with joy.
When I returned, Teacher Thuwan gave me a book called “Hokuku Poetry to Enjoy” that he had acquired in Japan.
The teacher's instructions stated (The format of haiku poetry is three lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables, for a total of 17 syllables.) So I looked at examples of haiku poetry and tried to compose them.
Grandfather and grandson,
The ins and outs of life.
Let's meet briefly..
For a moment, when we met,
If they love each other very much,
The law of the world..
