Since the beginning of the Burmese people's literary culture, they have been writing Burmese prose, and it has been going on until the present time. They will continue to write as long as the nation and the country do not disappear. Since they used the akhara script as a symbol of writing, they not only expressed their feelings and understanding in writing, but also expressed it in writing so that others can feel and understand.
In addition, the art of writing in a way that is both informative and enjoyable to read has also expanded. Therefore, today, we have reached a point where we can clearly distinguish between two types of literature: "scientific literature" and "fictional literature."
Throughout the Burmese literary period, many writings and compositions have appeared continuously. Both prose and poetry have enriched the literature in general. However, due to the limited nature of written materials, the lack of widespread circulation and the conditions for the printing and distribution of manuscripts, the destruction of war in the country, and the lack of a culture of preserving treasures, many good works of literature have been lost. Only a few of the most widely distributed works have survived to this day, thanks to the great generosity of the monasteries.
Therefore, from the surviving stone tablets of the Bagan period to the literature that emerged as printed books through the use of paper, we have the opportunity to inherit literature that has only bridged the generations. It is impossible to estimate how much has been lost. Sometimes, manuscripts that have been lost and unknown to us sometimes reappear, and there must be others that have disappeared without ever being discovered.
In modern times, however, thanks to the scientific renaissance of printing and the preservation capabilities of libraries, most written literature has survived for many years without being lost, and the number of literary scholars who are qualified to write and edit has increased greatly.
In fact, it is not an easy task to study and read all the literature from the past to the present, nor is it possible. It is not easy to read even the literature that has appeared in our lifetime to the fullest. Therefore, I wish that I could at least spread out and cover the past path of literature and make it noticeable.
Besides, literature is also a treasure that can be tasted in some way. It is also a lens that broadens one's intellectual vision. It is also a wide field of view that stimulates one's emotions. Therefore, I also long for a situation where people can access and enjoy the emotions spread through literature.
For this kind of desire, it is necessary to make some effort to develop the quality of reading literature with a taste for it, and to make literature a passion. Writers always have a desire for readers to feel and understand, and they write with a certain purpose for the benefit of the readers. Whether they write or get paid for it, every writer does not write just for the sake of writing, but they write with the main focus on making their writing and their writing style come into contact with the reader. A writer who does not want to be read by a large audience is not possible.
Therefore, in accordance with the desire of the writers of Tapin Ta Pan, and the desire for the audience to consider, appreciate, and enjoy their works, I have decided that it would be a fruitful endeavor to discuss and exchange views on how to extract, analyze, and enjoy the literature written by many writers throughout the ages. Therefore, I have decided to explore the various styles of literature from the past to the present, and to study and enjoy them.
There are points to be mentioned here. From the Bagan era to the present day,
There are many writers who write prose. The author's intention is not to criticize any writer, his literature, or any writing as good or bad. It is not easy to criticize this. Even if I were to criticize a single piece of writing, let alone an entire person, it would be many times longer than the original. And even then, I would not be able to get a complete picture, but would only be an analysis from one human perspective.
The author's purpose is to provide a path for people to enjoy the literary works of Myanmar from the past to the present. In other words, it is to describe the way of enjoying literature. Therefore, among the many literary scholars and writers who have written excellent works and have been recognized and accepted by the public, a few of them have been given as examples and have been enjoyed. It is a guide.
This does not mean that all the works presented here are the best. There are many works that are much more tasteful and that the author himself has come across, and they may be the author's favorite and most practical passages. In any case, only the most representative works have been selected, and all the selected works have been presented clearly after objectively examining and analyzing them.
There are many outstanding writers who have varied in their works, have only touched on a few aspects of the times, and who have set a standard for summarizing and presenting all sorts of events of all times. Their writings have not been ignored because they are not considered worthy of honor. Although we want to fully present the different writing styles and styles of each writer, we must apologize to those individuals for not taking the time to follow the example and leaving out the outstanding ones due to the time, purpose, and other factors. Therefore, we must not discriminate between good and bad writers.
Moreover, it is important to express the essence of the essence that is involved in the practice of meditation, as each person's ideas and tastes may differ in one way or another. Therefore, when it is found that the original living writers are not able to present it according to their own analysis and perception,
