Imagination and dreams

“They say imagination is crazy. Is that true?” There was no limit to the conversation class, and we had a small section where we could talk freely. At that time, one of the things that every student often asked and talked about was about imagination.

Some people see “imagination” as positive, while others, in modern parlance, see it as “golfing.” They are crazy about thinking about the impossible. They also think that “practicality” is good and right. They even consider practicality to be the basis of success.

In fact, no matter what kind of work it is, few people realize that it is born from an idea. After the idea comes to fruition, it is necessary to put it into practice to realize the result of the idea. Practice without imagination is like walking blindly. You will not be able to reach your goal by twisting and turning. Similarly, an idea without practice is like riding a horse in the wind.

Imagination and reality go hand in hand. Imagination is not madness. It is the basic work of successful people. Only intelligent people can do it. Uneducated and uneducated people cannot do imagination. Only wise people can do what they imagine. There is a saying that “the wise think more accurately than the blind.” A wise person does not need to go and see for himself with ordinary eyes. With the “eye of wisdom,” he knows and sees what will happen if he does it.

“Imagination is a wise thing to do,” he said to the students. The young people agreed with him. Although they agreed with him, few people followed their imagination to the end. Some people just kept saying, “But.” If it is, then it is possible; if it is, then it is possible; but” is the most common phrase on the lips of young people today. As long as this “but” is there, one can never become an outstanding and successful person.

We need to completely eliminate the “but.” To eliminate it, we need to know the source of the “but.” The number one reason for the “but” is a lack of confidence in our ideas. If we don’t have strong confidence from the beginning, our efforts will be weak. If we do nothing with a lack of enthusiasm, we will not be successful.

The second reason is the lack of courage to face the difficulties and dangers that will come their way. A weak-minded person can never be a great and successful person.

Number three is the lack of “perseverance.” Even if you have strong faith and courage, you will not succeed if you do things the wrong way. If you lose your temper after one or two failures, you will not succeed. It is rare for a great idea to succeed all at once. Success is achieved only by making mistakes, correcting them, making mistakes again, and correcting them again. Therefore, you need to have the “perseverance” to face failures and mistakes again and again.

Only by aligning these three points can we achieve success. Ideas become reality. If we start a task and turn back halfway, we will lose more than if we do nothing. Those who do nothing lose nothing. They will only become unsuccessful. Those who turn back halfway will not only lose the “capital” they have invested halfway, but also those who lack self-confidence will never succeed. It is not because they are crazy. It is because they are no longer successful. When they are no longer successful, they often feel inferior and depressed. Therefore, when they start a task, they should first consider whether it is something they truly believe in, and whether they can really face the difficulties and dangers. It is much worse to turn back halfway after doing it than not to do it.
