There are many people who love cats. In America, cats are the most popular pet, with dogs coming in second place.
Cats are great friends. Most domestic cats are friendly, playful, and cuddly.
How big is the biggest cat?
A domestic cat has been recorded weighing as much as forty-seven pounds. That's huge. It weighs about the same as a six-year-old child.
But most domestic cats are much smaller than the cats mentioned earlier. They weigh only about six to eight pounds.
How much does your cat weigh? I'll tell you how to find out. Get on the scale and weigh yourself. Then put your cat on the scale and weigh yourself again. Subtract the number you got the first time from the number you got the second time. Now you know the weight of your cat.
