Chapter (1) The situation from them

In Hungary, which is now the first country in Eastern Europe to adopt a market economy, the Small Business Development Unit has already started offering courses, seminars, and a curriculum in 25 high schools on “Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship” to young Hungarians.

“In Romania, an international training institute has been established to teach this subject widely, and it is being taught to citizens who want to start businesses. It also offers weekly courses on the basics of a market economy and how to set up a successful business.

Eight Rwandan instructors were also sent to the United States to teach entrepreneurship. The goal of the institute was to produce an average of four hundred entrepreneurs per month from September 1991 to March 1992. Of these, one-third would be entrepreneurs and the remaining two-thirds would be potential entrepreneurs. One interesting point they made was that public participation was a vital component of successful development.

Chapter (2) How to interpret

The French word "Entrepreneur" ( entrepreneur ) literally means "between taker" or "go between." To capture the full meaning of this word, it can be translated into Burmese as "one who organizes, establishes, and operates a business and takes risks to make it successful."

Some medieval scholars defined it as “a person who carries on a large business.” Some 17th-century scholars defined it as “a person who enters into a contract with the government, sets a fixed price, and bears the risk of loss or gain.

In addition, some 18th-century scholars defined it as “a person who takes risks, plans, controls, organizes, and owns,” while 20th-century economists defined it as “a person who takes a strong, moderate risk, creates the most opportunities, builds the socio-economic system, and is able to withstand the losses that result from taking risks.” Some also say thatan entrepreneur is different from an economist , a psychologist, a businessman, or a politician.”

Dr. Robert Hisrich, a professor at the American University , defines an “entrepreneuras “a person who establishes a business for his own benefit, who purchases the capital and inputs needed for his business at market prices, who provides his own leadership and expertise for his business, who is not responsible for the losses and successes that arise from unforeseen and uncontrollable factors, and who pays his annual income and maintains a net balance.”

The author wants to define it as "venturer, leader, innovator." It means someone who takes the risk of starting a new business, a leader, or an innovator.

In today's business world, one question that thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs ask themselves is, "Will I be able to start my own business?" According to research by economists, 85 percent of people have a desire to start a business. What fuels this desire is the desire to be rich and independent.

Chapter (3) What is an entrepreneur?

Not every business owner is an entrepreneur, and to become an entrepreneur, a business owner must meet the following requirements:

(1) An entrepreneur must establish and operate his/her own business for personal gain.

(2) An entrepreneur must purchase and use the physical raw materials, land, and necessary investments used in his business at the prevailing market price at the time of starting the business.

(3) An entrepreneur must be able to provide personal leadership, expertise, and insight in planning, structuring, and managing their business.

(4) An entrepreneur must be able to bear the losses that may arise from unforeseen events and circumstances beyond his control while operating his business.

(5) The entrepreneur must retain only the net profit remaining after paying all taxes and expenses due from his business activities.

Considering the five qualities that an entrepreneur must have, an entrepreneur is someone who is able to lead their own business, conduct business at a fair and reasonable price, is able to bear losses that may arise due to things they cannot afford, and pays taxes correctly before enjoying the benefits. The most distinctive characteristic of an entrepreneur is that they conduct business honestly and responsibly. Every entrepreneur should be aware of this.
