The mind is inseparable from the body. Mental functions are the functions of the brain. The brain is the organ that connects the animal with the outside world. The perception of objects is the sense. The sense arises from the creative response of the nerves. .
For animals, sense is a signaling verb in communication with the outside world. In humans, in addition to the senses (touching, knowing, seeing), there is an additional signaling verb. And that is speech.
Body and mind
In looking at the spiritual body, the materialist view and the spiritualist view are in direct opposition. According to the spiritualist view, the spiritual body is considered to be separate and distinct from the physical body. The spiritualist view considers the physical body to be an “independent entity.” The parts of the body such as the ears, eyes, nose, mouth, and limbs, such as the ears, eyes, nose, mouth, and limbs, that perceive the external world, and respond to the external world, are considered to be due to the spiritual. The spiritual body is considered to exist independently of the physical body. It is believed that sometimes the spiritual body serves the physical body and sometimes it does not.

Mental illness and epilepsy were believed to be caused by the entry of an evil spirit. Therefore, they believed that the soul existed in the afterlife of the dead and that the soul existed before the person was born. .
In short, the ideas of the mind and the transcendental world concerning the body and soul merely promote and color these kinds of materialistic attachments.
One of these is the idea that the mind and the physical body are separate entities. According to this idea, there are two entities, the mind and the physical. The physical, or physical body, is expansive. It has weight. It moves in space. The mind or spiritual body is thought to have the nature of thinking, knowing, touching, and longing. This idea is still widely accepted. It is believed that the qualities of touch and knowledge are completely separate from matter. According to this idea, all knowledge and touch, although related to our physical body, are considered to be immaterial entities, independent of, not dependent on, or dependent on, matter.
Similarly, thoughts, feelings, etc. are not considered to be products of the physical process. However, these mentalistic ideas have long faced resistance from materialistic views. According to materialism, the spiritual body is not considered to exist separately from the physical body. All mental activities are dependent on and dependent on the physical body. It is believed that mental activities cannot exist without the physical body. The mind is considered to be the highest form of the physical product.
Modern materialism has already equipped itself with scientific findings. Therefore, materialism has been able to overthrow the concept of the mind (or) that sees the spiritual body. The spiritual body is only a product of the gradual and progressive development of life. To a certain extent, consciousness is found in living physical bodies with a high level of nervous system. Some animals have consciousness. Thus, consciousness becomes thought through a gradual and progressive process, and when it reaches man, the development of consciousness reaches its highest point and becomes thought. This thought is also the activity of the human brain, which is material. Therefore, all mental activities from the lowest to the highest are only the activities of the physical body, the activities of the physical body. When the physical body reaches the highest level of formation, the physical body produces the mind. Therefore, the mind that is not dependent on the physical body is just a meaningless vehicle. The mind cannot exist without the physical body.
This does not mean that mental processes do not exist at all, nor does it mean that mind does not exist at all. It is true that consciousness, thoughts, desires, feelings, sensations, etc. are real and real things. Materialism does not deny the real existence of mind.
It is a denial of the fact that what is called the spiritual body is independent and separate from the physical body. The spiritual body is not something independent of the physical body. It is the Supreme. Whatever a person thinks, whatever he touches, whatever he desires, there is something called the mind in him. Again, thinking, touching,
Desire, etc., are also the actions of the material person. When a certain organ system and a certain biological condition are formed in a material body, the actions of thinking, knowing, touching, and desiring arise. When the material body and its organs are destroyed, these thinking, knowing, touching, and desiring also cease . Therefore, all mental actions and movements are only products of the material. Stalin summarized this as follows.
"Thought is only a product of matter (the brain) that has reached a perfect stage of development. The brain is only the verb of thought. Therefore, thought cannot be separated from matter..."
Consciousness and nervous system
Not every physical body can think, know, or feel. Only living bodies can think, know, or feel. Again, not every living body can perform mental functions. Only in animals that have a central nervous system does the mind appear. When the nervous system gradually appears in living organisms, when the brain is formed from the central nervous system, the basic functions of the mind centered on attention also appear. When the development of the brain becomes advanced, when the brain and its centers appear, higher mental functions called thinking appear. Therefore, the brain is only the active part of thinking. Thinking is an activity performed by the brain.
This is no longer true today. However, the belief that the soul survives death still exists. In other words, our minds are still thought to reach a state of complete development only after we die. “In order to analyze mental processes, to understand their nature and origin, it is necessary to study the material layers of mental phenomena (6), the nervous processes,” wrote Lenin. Such studies were carried out by the Russian anatomist Ivan Pavlov.
Body composition and environment
Previously, it was thought that the nervous system was only a means of stimulating the movements of various parts of the body. Pavlov discovered that "the nervous system is not, as is commonly believed, a means of connecting one part of the body to another, but a means of connecting the whole body with its environment." The nervous response is clear at first. Something goes to the sensory organs and affects them. This affects the muscles. When the animal is affected by the environment, it responds in this way. So, whatever object enters the sensory organs and affects them, such a response will occur, etc., and so on, they show how the animal interacts with the environment. The animal's interaction with the environment begins with the recognition and interaction of fixed events that have not changed in the past. This is called the direct (or unmodified) nervous response concept by Pavlov. Through this, the animal encounters variable, temporary events and connections in its interaction with the environment. Thus, the animal no longer directly recognizes the environment and changes it. This is called the indirect (or modified) nervous response concept by Pavlov.
For example, when an animal is about to eat, saliva flows from the salivary glands in its mouth. So a dog will salivate as soon as it sees a bowl. This is a direct (or unconditioned) neural response. When the dog gets food, it salivates in its mouth. Pavlov used to ring a bell every time he fed the dog. So over time, the dog salivated just by ringing the bell. This is an indirect (or conditioned) neural response. By ringing the bell every time he fed the dog, the dog was conditioned to respond to the sound of the bell. In other words, the dog learned that the sound of the bell every time he ate food would make him eat more, and so he salivated more. Thus, a direct (or unconditioned) neural response is a genetic trait that is inherited by the animal through the evolutionary process of the species. An indirect (or conditioned) neural response is not inherited but is developed by the individual under specific circumstances and can be changed. It can be destroyed. Thus, if a dog is repeatedly given food without ringing a bell for a long time, it will no longer respond. Or, if a dog is taught to know that if the bell is rung, food will be given.
