The value of time

Maung Ye Myint Thaw

For those who want to modernize and develop, who are not satisfied with their current situation and want to possess superior qualities and good conditions, there is one thing that is very important and should be valued in life. This is time, which cannot be forgotten by humans. In this universe, even the Buddha could not create a clock that cannot be exchanged for any gold, silver, or precious stones. The value of time is incomparable.

If a person loses his or her valuable possessions and possessions, he or she can regain them through luck, intelligence, perseverance, diligence, and hard work. In addition, for a person whose health is deteriorating, medicines and good doctors can act as life-saving medicine. However, time cannot be restored by these things. We need to value and utilize every precious hour, minute, and second of that time.

Human life is very difficult to obtain. In that human life, the thing that will always run and pass forever, regardless of wealth or poverty, is time. Time is more valuable than useless because it is moving and cannot be returned. Time is not included in the things that can be returned if it is the real wealth of every human being. Therefore, we should prepare in advance to use every moment that comes to us usefully.

One example that clearly shows the importance of time is Napoleon. Knowing that the English army would arrive at sunset and fight, he did not pay attention to it, but he called for reinforcements. When the time came for the battle, Napoleon's reinforcements did not arrive, but he had to kneel down to the sun to prevent it from setting. But then it stopped. It is shocking that Napoleon's life story ended without a happy ending. In order to win the many stories of our lives, we need to understand and respect the value of time and choose good stories to make our lives happy.

It is not enough to simply understand the value of time. We must consciously control the value of time and use it to produce beneficial results. This responsibility can be fulfilled by every human being with high goals, who wants to improve their lives more than they improve, who wants to grow more than they grow. Therefore, to benefit from this responsibility, we should systematically analyze and use the hours of time, which are more valuable than precious jewels in our lives.

Among those who value the value of time, our three-faced Buddha is at the top. The Buddha rested only a little each day and provided many aids to the beings of the world of the world to reach Nibbana. As a result, countless people have been able to enter the shadow of Nibbana. The Buddha's understanding of the value of time and his ability to use it wisely and valuablely is a very valuable historical event.

In addition, the Nobel Prize-winning scientist Albert Einstein slept only three hours a day and worked non-stop, not spending the rest of his time idle. Because of this, he was able to make invaluable discoveries and discoveries in physics that are invaluable to humanity. Therefore, he was recognized as a Nobel Prize winner and was considered an unparalleled expert in physics and mathematics. Because of Einstein's useful use of time, future generations were able to reap the benefits of the good fruits that bloomed.

There are many examples of people who have achieved success by understanding the value of time and using it effectively. The venerable Leti Sayadaw wrote many books without wasting his free time while traveling. The great writers Sotthay and Hawthorne collected as much time as they could and created literature, and were able to write world-famous books. The results of using their time correctly and systematically have left their mark in history, and there is no such thing as a loss.

There are many proverbs that have been passed down by the ancients about time. The world-famous playwright Shakespeare said, “I have wasted time, and now time wastes me.” Senator Gladstone also highlighted the value of time by saying, “Time is more profitable to save than money.” He also created many proverbs to guide and instruct future generations to understand the value of time. “The moon is still shining,” “The rain is still pouring,” andTime and tide wait for no man” are all examples of proverbs that guide and instruct all people about time.

However, those who wasted their time without understanding the value of time, which is as important as life, have also been left in history with a bad name. In Myanmar history, King Tabin Shwe Htee wasted his time drinking and eating and was irresponsible towards the country. Therefore, his life did not end well and he was left in history with a bad name. Therefore, if you do not want to stop doing your duty for those who do not know the value of time, then in poetry,

"If you don't want to go, just give me a chance."

Will there still be a microphone?

If you don't want to be angry, just let it go.

Will there still be a gap?

If you don't want to fight when you're allowed to,

"Will there still be losses?"

He pointed out the value of time, to make the most of it while you have it.

In a life that is more difficult to achieve than a needle in the sky and a needle on the ground, we need to use our precious time wisely and systematically without wasting it. Therefore, as the saying goes, “Even if you die, the land you were born in should remain elevated,” we should try to make every moment count and show gratitude.

The result of the effort

Maung Ye Myint Thaw

If we want to achieve the great goal of humanity, we cannot escape from the control of effort. Everyone is in the cycle of birth and death, and we must lead it with effort to improve our condition in this life. Anyone who wants to bloom the flower of good results must pluck it with a hand full of effort. Without effort, there is no success. Therefore, effort plays a very important role in everything good.

Effort goes hand in hand with success. These two friends can never be separated. In building a temple of success, the foundation of effort must be built. As the saying goes, “The outside is the place to celebrate before the inside.” Good results and successes can only be achieved by making preparations and working hard. Therefore, effort is extremely important for those who have good goals in life.

Every human being goes through three ages without effort. Especially for everyone, during the first age of seeking knowledge, one must strive and learn knowledge. During the second age of seeking wealth, which is the time when one is full of knowledge and has a beautiful heart, one must strive and seek wealth to make the rest of one's life smooth. Only then, when one is seeking the Dhamma in the third age, one can clear one's mind and practice meditation without any worries. Therefore, in order to achieve the crown in all ages, one must rely on our great friend, namely effort.

The only thing that can come between the two friends of success and hard work is laziness. Those who are lazy will never be able to achieve success. Hard work and laziness are always in opposition, and those who are lazy will never be able to achieve hard work, and they will never see their best friend, success. Just as you cannot pass an exam without studying, so if you are lazy without putting in the effort, you will never achieve success. This is a law of the world.

As the proverb says, “Under the mountain’s feet, under the waves’ sails,” a person who strives will surely reach his desired goal, regardless of the obstacles and difficulties. These are the results of effort. There is no reason why effort can be in vain. This is what our Three-Landed Buddha, the Supreme Being, proved by striving for four hundred thousand years and one hundred thousand worlds, and attaining the status of the Supreme Buddha, the One who has attained the golden wisdom of all knowledge.

All the great things that are considered impossible in this world can only be achieved through effort. This is

"Even God can be achieved through effort"

The saying is true. Even clothes are woven from small pieces of cotton in stages before they can be made into clothes for people to wear.

"Where will Bagan be moved one day?"

As the saying goes, if you can hold on to your efforts, you will be able to move towards each of your desired goals.

The Mahajanaka story, which seems to distinguish those who have tried and those who have not, is also a proof of this. When a ship was completely sunk in the middle of the ocean, Prince Janaka swam to the surface with effort, which is the source of perseverance and perseverance, and achieved success. The other seven hundred sailors, who did not make any effort, became food for fish, turtles, and crocodiles, and the story ended with bad results. Therefore, the Buddha did not say, "After losing a hundred times, be prepared to try a hundred and one times."

It cannot be forgotten that hard work has yielded good results in real life. The efforts of scientists such as Thomas Edison have led to many inventions and have become symbols of modern progress. Wasn't it true that General Aung San, the great leader, combined hard work with courage to achieve the goal of independence that many people yearn for? The results of hard work are invaluable.

In addition, thanks to the two scientists, the Wright brothers, who worked hard to create and test airplanes with their blood and sweat, we can now travel from one place to another in a short time. No one would deny that the effort that led humans to reach the modern IT era from the Iron and Stone Ages is the result of their efforts.

Because of their efforts, they have become the water that people point their fingers at. Therefore, everyone who loves their motherland and their country should not be satisfied with their current lives, but should strive to develop the land where you were born, your land, as the saying goes, "Even if you die, it is better to continue to grow." In order to develop in all situations, they should participate in each sector like a brick or a grain of sand.
