Praying with confidence with a teenager

Prayer is not just for teenagers. Everyone, young, old, and even children, pray. They pray to achieve something, to achieve success, to fulfill their desires. In the Burmese tradition, the elders are respected and honored, and after the offering is made, the elders who receive it are given a solemn gift. They bow and say, “May the gift be fulfilled.” The offering is also prayed for by the recipient. This is a traditional Burmese custom. It is also a cherished and beloved part of Burmese culture. It brings peace of mind to both the recipient and the recipient. It can also be considered as the development of meritorious deeds.

There is no one in the world who has not prayed. However, have you ever been filled with the reward that you asked for? Those who say that it is filled will say that it is. Those who say that it is just a waste of time will also say that it is a waste of time. No matter how many times you pray, people cannot give up the work of praying. I believe that they will continue to pray until they die. Teenagers also pray as teenagers. Praying may be a part of the daily routine of teenagers. Especially teenage girls, when they wake up in the morning, go to bed at night, and have a meal, they will inevitably ask for some kind of reward while praying. When it comes to praying, teenage boys are also included. In other words, praying is not alien to teenagers. It is an innate habit. I would like to say that it is also a fruit of Myanmar traditional culture.

The story that I will tell you now is about teaching teenage boys and girls to pray. However, it is not just a simple prayer, but a prayer of faith and devotion. The question is, “Is it really prayer? Do we need faith and devotion? Is it really prayer?” As I said earlier, praying is a daily activity of people, so there is no need to analyze prayer. However, this story shows that praying with faith can actually be fulfilled.

In today's modern medical world, when treating serious diseases such as cancer, both the patient and the patient's family members have begun to pray together with the treatment, believing that the patient's illness will be cured. When they work on this work of praying with faith and love, they can show examples of patients actually being cured. One of the examples that can be shown is the story that will be told now. The purpose of this story is to show that praying with faith, which is not ordinary, can sometimes yield real practical results, and it is intended to teach teenagers to pray with faith and think deeply about certain matters.

The story begins. It is a story of how the power of prayer can be beneficial in treating a person who is suffering from various diseases in a state of grief and sorrow.

My wife Stephanie and I were freediving together one day when Stephanie felt a strange sensation. She and I quickly got back into the water and, as we took off our swimsuits, she said that her lungs felt like they were full of water. She had a history of lung congestion. But I didn't ask any more questions and we stopped diving.

In the following days, the beach where we went diving changed from a beach where we came to dive to a beach where people could relax. We planned a place where we could relax and unwind on the beach. We tried to forget about her pain and not think about it anymore. One evening, after walking on the beach and returning home, Stephanie started to feel a little cold. When we went to the doctor, he said, “It’s nothing. If you’re worried, I’ll send you to get a blood test.”

We went home. We waited a few weeks. We wondered what to do with Stephanie’s illness, which was slowly disappearing. Stephanie’s cold symptoms didn’t go away. I took her to the hospital for an X-ray. At the hospital, the X-ray showed that Stephanie had a tumor in her chest. My wife, who was still in good health at 46 years old, had a tumor that was slowly destroying her body. We had a son and a daughter. They were teenagers. They didn’t know whether to be sad or happy that their mother had a tumor. They didn’t know how to feel.

Two weeks later, they did a biopsy of Stephanie's tumor. The results showed that the tumor was cancerous and growing rapidly. Stephanie was started on chemotherapy, a type of cancer treatment. Stephanie began chemotherapy that same week and began to feel the effects of the chemotherapy. She then had radiation therapy on the tumor at the same time. Stephanie, who was being treated with both types of cancer treatments, was completely cured within a month. She also lost a little weight. She looked completely healthy.

His son and daughter were just now learning that their mother had cancer.
