Introduction
Uttendorf, Switzerland, Sunday, October 14, 3:50 p.m.
The onlookers standing on the edge of the ring stared in silence, stunned and speechless. The scene before them was a haunting one. It was as if the terrifying nightmares buried deep in the subconscious of Stone Age men had been pulled out of a very low place.
Each witness's reactions are different.
One person fainted. The second person vomited. One woman was shaking uncontrollably. Another thought, “I’m going to have a heart attack.” The elderly priest clutched his rosary tightly and crossed himself with his hands, making a cross.
"Save us, Father, save us. Protect us from the evil spirit. We are finally seeing the face of the evil one and the world is about to be destroyed. The day of judgment has arrived and the great battle between good and evil has begun," he muttered.

Chapter One
First day
October 15th.
He was returning from the Chu Chi base in Vietnam to a very crowded hospital ward.
Susan, dressed in a crisp white nursing gown, bowed her head on her bed.
"Get up, Navy SEAL. You don't want to die yet," he whispered.
When he heard Susan's captivating voice, he seemed to forget even the pain.
Susan put her ear to her mouth and whispered something else. But he couldn't hear her clearly because of the loud ringing of the bell. He reached out to pull Susan towards him, but she only caught the air. The sound that woke Robert Bellamy from his sleep was the ringing of the telephone. He didn't want to lose his dream, so he opened his eyes wide. The telephone bell next to his bed kept ringing. He looked at the clock. It was four in the morning. He was annoyed that it had disturbed his dream. He picked up the telephone abruptly.
“Do you know what time it is?”
"When is the commander coming?"
A loud male voice.
“Of course.”
“Commander, I have a message for you. You are instructed to report to General Hillyard at National Security Agency (NSA) headquarters in Fort Meade at 06:00 this morning. Do you understand the message, Commander?”
"Yes," he thought, "I don't understand."
Commander Robert Bellamy, confused, slowly replaced the telephone receiver.
What does the NSA want him for? He's assigned to the ONI, or Naval Intelligence Division. And how important is the matter to call a meeting at six in the morning?
He lay back down on the bed and closed his eyes to relive the dream.
The dream was so vivid. He knew what had caused the dream. Susan had called him last night. "Robert." . . . .
Susan's voice had always frightened him, and it frightened him now. He took a shaky breath.
"Hello... Susan"
"How are you, Robert?"
"Good, very good, how is the big pot of money?"
"Don't say that."
"Good, how are you, Monty Banks?"
He never called Susan “your husband.” He himself had been Susan's husband.
"He's fine, I just wanted to let you know that we have to go on a trip for a while. I don't want you to be sad."
That was the kind of thing that always gets me worried. He tried to keep his voice steady. “Where are you going this time?” “We’re going to Brazil by plane,” he said, jokingly calling it a moneybag.
He thought to himself, "I'll go on my own 727 Boeing jet."
"Monty has his business children in Brazil."
"Really, I thought the whole country belonged to him."
"Come on, Robert, don't be ridiculous."
"Sorry," he paused slightly.
"I want you to feel better than you are now."
"If you were here, I would be fine."
"I want you to find a truly amazing woman and live happily ever after."
"I've found someone very amazing, Susan."
A large lump in his throat made it difficult for him to speak.
“And you know what happened? I lost him.”
"If you keep breaking the rules like this, I won't contact you again."
His mind was spinning like a spoon.
"Don't say that."
Susan was his lifeline. He never thought he would never be able to talk to Susan again.
