(Introduction)
Nowadays, IELTS has become an important and popular test for international education. IELTS is a timed test that tests 4 SKILLS: Speaking, Listening, Readingę. and Writing .
The IELTS Speaking Test is actually a one -to-one interview . The Speaking Test has three parts. It is designed to test your spoken English skills. You will be asked questions on a variety of topics. The Speaking Test interview lasts between 11 and 14 minutes.
→ Part-1 (Introduction and Interview) (4-5 Minutes)
This section asks questions about familiar topics. They are often direct questions. These are easy-to-answer questions, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your basic fluency.
→ Part- 2( Short Talk)
(3-4 Minutes)
It is called a Short Talk because you have to speak for 1 or 2 minutes on a topic chosen by the examiner.
You have one minute to prepare. Then, without pausing, you must speak on the topic that you are asked to answer. This topic is based on your personal experiences and feelings . Therefore, your speech should be lively and interesting.
→ Part-3 (Two-way discussion)
(4-5 Minutes)
This section asks abstract questions that are broadly related to the material introduced in Part (2). These are discussion questions. Here you need to demonstrate control of language. You should also be able to express your ideas. You should also be able to support your opinions. It is important to be able to give longer responses than the Part-1 questions. This section is the most difficult and involves a lot of discussion.

(A band score is usually given between 1 and 9, depending on your answer .)
