It was about noon when they got off their hay wagon.
I sneaked into this hay wagon last night at the border. It broke down as soon as I got under the haystack. I was so tired after three weeks in Rajana, Mexico. I wanted to sleep. I felt so happy when I did.
The drivers stopped the car to cool down. I think they also stopped and looked around the car.
They saw my legs in the haystack. So they pulled me out of the car and kicked me.
I can't even do the poses, the dances, the acting. The faces of the Ngaenai are like real stone statues.
So I couldn't do anything. Well.. they were nice. They gave me something to drink and a pack of cigarettes. So what could I do? I had to keep walking on the street, hoping to get something to eat and drink.
There I found the Two Oaks Restaurant. It was a small, simple restaurant. There are thousands and thousands of them along the highways in California. It was a sandwich shop. There was a room for selling food, a room for people, a gas station next to it, and a parking lot in the back. That's it.
I entered the shop with a cheerful expression and saw a Greek. Greek is a Greek word for a Greek man. I said firmly, "Aren't there people coming with a caddie?"
"This person in the car has an appointment to pick me up at this shop."
"We're meeting for breakfast here."
Greek: , , ,
"He's not coming today, he hasn't come yet."
He sat me down at a table and asked me what I wanted to eat.
One kyat is for a glass of orange juice, popcorn, fried eggs and steak, and coffee.
After a while, orange juice and popcorn arrived.
"I said, 'Wait, I'll tell you sooner. If the guy you mentioned doesn't show up... he'll come. Trust me. This guy called me to feed him. I don't have much money,
"Okay, eat." - "That's it. I don't need to talk about the card and the rice anymore."
After a while, I realized that this little guy wanted something. When he realized it, he said, "
"Brother Yin, what kind of work do you do?"
"Oh.. work? Do this and that. Why?"
"How old are you, Maung Rin?"
"24"
"Hey... I need a young man like Maung Rint at my shop right now."
"Your shop is awesome."
"Oh... yeah, nothing like Los Angeles. Really clean shop."
"Yes. It seems to be fine at night too."
"Okay. Besides that, do you know how to fix cars?"
"I can fix things. I was born to be a mechanic."
The Greek guy was talking about this shop, about this place, how clean and fresh it was, how comfortable it was to live in, how comfortable it was. But I didn't know why. He said that the helpers at his shop didn't stay long. I had to listen to what he said. At the same time, I was eating the food that was brought to me without any hunger. . . .
"Now... Brother Yin... should I work here or stay?"
By that time, I had finished eating. I was drinking coffee after the meal. Then I was smoking a cigarette.
"Kyat also has some things to say. I'll think about that too. Everything will be fine."
At that moment, I saw the woman. She seemed to be in the back kitchen. She must have come out now to finish eating and clearing away the dishes. The woman was not particularly beautiful, except for her beautiful body. Her face was one of a kind, her lips were pointed and round.
Greek language
"This is... my wife."
The woman didn't look at me. I nodded my head in Greek. It was a sign of recognition.
I shook the cigarette out of my hand. The woman picked up the plates and carried them away. So far, there has been no problem for us Greeks. The woman had no idea that there was a baked fish paste. . .
I left the shop. But I came back in about 5 minutes later. I had something to order for the next customer, so what?
During that time, for about half an hour, we talked about work, about the job that would be given to me.
Finally, I have to fill up the gas station, remove the tires of cars that come in with flat tires, and replace them.
The Greek girl asked, "What is your name?"
"Friends exchange bar"
"My name is Nick Pa Pa Da Kit." Then we shook hands and said goodbye.
As we approached the gas station where we were supposed to stop, we heard the Greek singer singing. His voice was so beautiful.
If you look from the gas station where I live, you can see the store's kitchen.
