As is the tradition with all my books, I put pen to paper to write a request for this book as well.

I was stuck, not knowing what to write because I hadn't thought about what to write beforehand.

After a long time of thinking, I suddenly remembered an incident that happened to me in the printing house one day and smiled.

This incident is not important enough to be included in the order, if you want to say so. However, it is a fun part of our literary career, and I would like to share it with you as a memory. Please bear with me and listen.

One day, while this novel was being printed, I went to the printer's office.

The printing house is the 33rd Street Printing House. It would not be wrong to say that it is the "customer" printing house of the "Life University" bookstore that publishes our books.

In addition to the two books I translated previously, the printing house has also continuously commissioned and printed other books published by `Bava University'. Thus, in March 1981, the Myanmar translation of ``Kya Kok Kya Khe'' by Maung Moe Thu, published in May, the Myanmar translation of ``Shwe Kon Hny'' by Maung Myint Kywe (two volumes), and the Myanmar translation of ``The Min Ngoh Thae Pae Kak Thaw'' (two volumes) by Nandamiek, published in June, were also printed at the same printing house.

Then... I went to the printing house while "My Myanmar Journey to the Dead" (two volumes) and "The End of the World" (two volumes) were being printed simultaneously.

As I entered the workshop, the mechanic, Ko Kyi Aye, was as lively and cheerful as ever.

“Hey, Teacher Ko Pothun has arrived. That’s great. I have to ask you something. What are the books published by ‘University of Life’? People in our area are tired of reading.”

"Why?"

“What’s going to happen, sir? As you know. Look.. The ‘Pae Phu Lah Magazine’ that just started this month is on one side, and our books are on the other, so our typists and printers are starting to get frustrated. And the books are also getting weaker. The world is following suit. Meanwhile, the workers, especially part-time workers, are even worse off.

"That's why the editor, U Chit Thein Gyi, was making fun of us the other day."

"How do you get it out? Let me hear it."

"That's right, he said, "Yes." Well... We, the women of the house, the gold...' We have to do "tiger-tiger" and "run away from death" to get a piece of the elephant. We have to "follow the footsteps of death." Yes, sir. We are doing exactly as he said. Heh. Heh. Heh."

Everything they heard here was a huge success.

I stopped laughing and made a face and replied.

"Oh, I'm sorry to cause you this trouble. But... it's a job, so we can't do anything about it. So if we've done anything wrong, please forgive us... I apologize for the inconvenience."

Everyone was impressed and burst into laughter. Now there are more things to talk about. I'll continue.

In early September last year, I met a literary friend at a tea shop in Yangon.

When I sat down at the table, he asked, "What book are you reading now?"

"Irving Wallace's latest book. It 's called The Pigeon Project..."

"What... is it a political background?"

"No. I think it should be called 'Prophetic Novel'."

My friend pretended to be helpless -

In a way, it can be said that it is a novel that critically examines the struggle between human nature and the law of nature, or the struggle between human nature and the law of nature.

The book I am translating now (The Pigeon Project) is the latest book by Arvin Wallace.

This novel was a big hit even before it was published. Arwen Wallace himself is a world-famous author, and every novel he writes is popular, and this novel is unique in its plot and purpose, so it was a big hit even before it was published.

While writing this book, many bookstores were rushing to get copies, one in person and one over the phone, so Arvin Wallace was afraid that he would lose the manuscript, so he wrote it in secret, hiding himself somewhere where no one would know.

However, this is not the case.

After translating this book, I felt both joy and disappointment.

Not for any other reason.

In this novel, the great writer Arvin Wallace writes about topics that not everyone dares to touch, setting the scene in real places at the time of the story, and writing it in a natural and logical manner.

In this way, the author is able to own the content of his writing, and the reader is not even aware of the plot and the locations, so he is captivated and cannot put his hand down when reading the novel.
