Chapter (1)
Why do you want to preach?

Have you ever asked yourself why you want to speak or preach? Do you know what kind of person you are? Are you aware of your own qualities that could make you a good speaker?

Usually, the situation demanded it, so I spoke in front of people and said things that people should say. I didn't have time to examine whether I had the ability to say this or not. The nature of the work you were doing would have given me the opportunity to speak in front of people. While speaking, I realized later that I had the ability to speak, so I was asked to speak. The audience accepted it, and I was able to speak. So later on, I wanted to speak better. I wanted to do a job that involved speaking well and effectively.

If you have a desire to excel in your speaking and presentation skills, the points listed below can help you become an exceptional speaker.

  • Today is a competitive era. If you are a truly gifted orator, you can use your oratory skills to captivate people with your words. You can influence people's minds with your oratory skills. You can convey your ideas in a way that will resonate with the masses. A good orator can win over a large audience in a short period of time.
  • The self-confidence gained through speaking can be used in other areas. A person who is not nervous when speaking in front of an audience is also less anxious in other situations. A person who is less anxious, or has no anxiety, is less likely to have problems in their work and is more successful. In matters that require debate, the person who is able to speak in front of an audience is better. In matters that require discussion in small groups, the person who is good at speaking in front of an audience can automatically take the lead.
  • If you are good at speaking, you will be interesting and happy for the other person. The other person may also get good ideas and new thoughts and views from you. However, to control a large audience, you need to have good skills. If you can attract the audience, the applause of the audience can fill your heart with joy.

  • People who are good at speaking tend to have more influence than their peers. When superiors need to speak on departmental matters, they assign only those who are good at speaking. Being given this responsibility is very helpful for future career advancement.
  • Performing on stage is not the same as speaking to an audience. You are the speaker, and there are some similarities and differences between a performer and a speaker. You go on stage. There is an audience in front of the stage. It is a great honor to be on stage in front of an audience.
  • It's possible that I didn't say the best things to say. So don't be discouraged. Inconvenience is an inevitable part of life.
  • If you can overcome your obstacles, good rewards are sure to come to you. There are many obstacles to speaking to a large audience. You have to overcome them yourself. If you can overcome them, your strength and self-confidence will increase.
  • Having a strong public speaking skill on your resume will make your resume more impressive. Based on this, the people who will interview you in person will be ready to judge you based on your skills before they even meet you.
  • Achieving life's goals can only happen after facing and overcoming challenges and difficulties.
  • After facing a challenge, we must work to bring ourselves back to our natural state of mind. Here, a public speaker who dares to face a crowd can work more quickly than ordinary people to bring their emotions back to their original state of calm.
  • To speak, to preach, you have to plan well, make preparations. Have everything you need. So that the place where you speak is comfortable and smooth. Public speaking is not an ordinary job. It is a very important job. Because it is so important, when you get into the habit of preparing what is needed, you get into the habit of preparing carefully for any matter. This is another good and valuable habit that speakers have.

After the skill of speaking, there are also business and social skills. As the saying goes, speaking with your own mouth is a bad thing, so it is a job that you have to stand on your own two feet and do with your own strength, so your desire to speak can take you to the peak of success in your life. Once you have mastered speaking, the road to the top will not be so steep for you.

Defining your own goals,

A person is the one who shapes his own life. Only weak people are molded by others. If you are a good speaker and you honestly admit that you want to make this your profession, you have many role models to follow. They are people who, like you, have trained themselves to be good at speaking and have risen to the top of the world. To give some examples, the black leader Martin Luther King, South African politician Nelson Mandela, and US President Barack Obama are all excellent speakers. They are people to study and emulate.

You should study these people, how they act, how they preach, how they speak. You should study them carefully. But you can't become them. You decide, they decide. There is one very important point here.

That is, you should never be like Tony Blair or Bill Clinton or Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela or Barack Obama or anyone else you look up to. Study their work, their reading, their preparation. Don't copy their style. Speak in your own voice, your own style. Be yourself, not someone else's image. Combine the qualities of your role models with your own and develop new, better qualities. Don't stretch your ambitions to the limit. Don't imitate the people you admire. Don't imitate the people you admire.

Speak in your own way, in your own mind. Let your own style of speaking be natural.

When you go on stage, be enthusiastic.

Once on stage, they become great orators, orators. They stand tall, open their hearts, and look at the audience with confidence. When you get close to these people after they have spoken, they no longer have the same appearance as the orators you saw on stage before. They are just like them, with a sense of self-importance. They are one thing off stage, and another thing on stage. The answer is this. “To show off in front of the audience.” When they get on stage, these people automatically gain self-confidence. They stand tall and proud. They look at the audience with confidence, satisfaction, and confidence. An orator knows in his blood, in his bones, how to carry himself, how to express himself, and how to speak with an accent. When he gets on stage, his body, his posture, and his tone of voice change. It is fair to call this an inner transformation. These people who are great on stage think they have grown up more than they were before. They also think they have become more intelligent. By elevating themselves like this, their words are more effective. They can capture the audience. So whoever is going to go on stage and give a speech, they need to be good at it.

Here, we are not talking about the human mind in the foreground. We are talking about the transformation of the human essence. In other words, the body under the stage and the body on the stage are divided. Otherwise, the stage
