In the year 688, King Min Lyin Saw established the city of Thayet. He was known as Thet Min because he ruled over the Thet people. Thet Min Lyin Saw had three sons: Saw Soar, Saw Phyu, and Saw Tu.
The Thets attacked and destroyed villages in the Rakhine Yoma Mountains. Then the Rakhine King Min Htee sent his minister, Rajasithu Sangha, to attack the Thets.
In 695, the minister marched across the Yoma Mountains with a large army and easily brought King Thet Min Lyin Saw, along with his son, daughter, and concubine, to Rakhine.
When the king arrived in Rakhine, he entrusted his three sons to a sage who was skilled in the interpretation of the Pitaka. The three princes also studied the Pitaka and learned to read and write. “The Master saw a dream. The eldest brother, Saw San, dreamed that he drank the water of the Samon River and died. The middle brother, Saw Phyu, dreamed that he drank the water of the Phoe U Maw River and died. The younger brother, Saw Tu, dreamed that he drank the water of the Ava River and died. The Master called the three princes and said to them, “You and I will go to Sagaing and Pinya and live there. You will be king. “If you become king, do not forget me,” he said. The three princes, leaving their father and mother, went to the East in the year 705. When they arrived at Sagaing and Pinya, Saw Soar conquered the city of Mying Sai. Saw Phyu conquered the city of Pyay. Saw Tu conquered the city of Ta-Ye-Saw-Ke, which was called “Tara-Ye-Saw-Ke.”
Later, the high-ranking Saw Kay became king in Ava with the name "King Saw Kay". King Saw Kay loved the wise. He listened to the wise. During the king's reign, the ministers Sintapik and Wansingmin Raja were his wise advisors. When he was sixteen years old, the king remembered his young teacher, the Rakhine monk, and summoned him to Nay Pyi Taw, bestowed upon him the title of Maha Sangha Raja, and worshipped him.
The Rakhine monk, who received the title of Mahasingharaja, when he was teaching the three princes, said, "He taught the princes the worldly pleasures, and he taught them the truth."
This is the story of the worldly pleasures and the pleasure teachers, which is in accordance with the history of U Kala, the Dhanyawaddy uprising, and the Sasana Lankara documents.
Three distinctive features of worldly pleasures
The worldly poem is (1) the oldest poem. (2) the most well-known poem. (3) the poem with the correct rhyme scheme.
(1) According to history, it is believed that the Rakhine monk composed the Lokasara Po between the years 695 and 705. In that case, it is more than six hundred years old.
(2) It is not known how much Loksara powder was used during the reign of the Burmese kings, but it was used for many years during the reign of the British. This powder was also used again during the Union of Myanmar era. The benefits of this powder, which has benefited the Burmese people for more than six hundred years, are immense.
(3) Although some of the current worldly poems contain slight variations in rhyme, the second Kyaw Aung San Thar Sayadaw, the author of the Svamyaththa Pakathani, and the new dictionary author, Dwinthin Taykwan Mahasi, have cited this poem extensively for the purpose of dictation.
The world's pleasures and the five tons of strength
In this world, people, whether great or small, must do what is right. They must get what is right.
For example: A teacher teaches a student. The student deserves to be educated by the teacher. The teacher deserves to be respected by the student. The student deserves to be loved and cared for by the teacher.
What is right to do is called duty, and what is right to receive is called opportunity. If people do not fulfill their duty, but receive their opportunity, the world will not be peaceful. If they do not receive their opportunity, but receive their duty, the world will not be peaceful.
For example, a kite that a child releases in the air will not be able to stay steady if it is tilted to one side. If the kite is tilted to one side, it will not be able to control itself and will eventually fall to the ground and be destroyed. Similarly, if people in a country only enjoy their rights and do not fulfill their responsibilities, that country will not be able to control itself and will soon be destroyed.
Seeing this great calamity, the Rakhine monk, wishing to teach the four races the duty of duty, set out to experience this worldly pleasure.
Both the government and the public are working hard to eliminate zero-sum payments in the Union of Myanmar. These five-ton payments are:
(1) Physical fitness - physical strength.
(2) Intellectual power - being educated.
(3) Wealth - Being well-off.
(4) Meektabala - Having good friends.
(5) Saritabha - virtuous conduct.
Those who wish to be filled with these five virtues must study and follow this worldly wisdom. The ancestors of the Burmese people studied and followed this wisdom, and were filled with these five virtues, and the country was peaceful and prosperous.
Physical strength
In ancient times, the Burmese people plowed the fields. They worked. They threshed. They threshed rice. They were full of strength, both men and women. They ate and lived honestly, so diseases did not appear to have arisen in a strange way. Therefore, it does not seem that there was a need to take special measures against weightlifting, running, rowing, and boxing as in the present day. However, when the ninety-six diseases appeared, the doctors had to study the medical books to cure them. They had to study the medicinal herbs. They had to understand the meanings in the medical books in detail. They had a deep understanding of the taste and power of the medicinal herbs. They understood the 96 diseases caused by phlegm, bile, and wind. Wanting to point out this point, the Rakhine sage wrote this:
As a physician, as a medicine
Knowledge of medicinal herbs, knowledge of the Pinda.
The medicine book is also there, and the medicine is also there.
Open-minded, deep in meaning
Overtraining, metabolic disorders
Bloody diarrhea, phlegm fever
Diseases, injuries, etc.
Ninety-six, flat.
To avoid mistakes, to heal.
Present the head of the North.
Intellectual power
The five powers are important in the world. They are useful. However, the power of intellect, or knowledge, is the most important and useful. It is the leader of all powers. The power of intellect can even lead one to the path to Nibbana. The Rakhine monk, who wanted to make these points clear, wrote this:
In the name of the fish, the highest son
If you have eyes, if you have wisdom,
Business is visible, the backbone.
Full of grace, special thanks
Truly, the leader, the one who leads the way
Avoid sin, be a good person.
Wisdom, wisdom, and wisdom
Use the sera, keep it in your body
Hell, looking back
May the Blessed Ones attain Nibbana, and guide their journey.
Such benevolent wisdom should be taught and studied. When you study, you should follow the words of your parents, teachers, and teachers, who teach you with love and compassion. Therefore, the Rakhine sage urged this.
Parents, listen to your words.
Learn and understand the Bible.
At what age should one learn knowledge? One should learn it while one is young. From whom should one learn it? From a true teacher, from a good teacher. How should one learn it? From a teacher, one should learn it with respect. One should learn it with effort. One should learn it by waiting for a good opportunity. Even if the teacher scolds one, one should learn it patiently. The Rakhine monk, who wanted to instruct one in this way, wrote the following.
Not old, not young, but young.
With great effort, I will be able to hold on tight.
In the true sense of the word, fear, love, and respect
By working hard, he is literate.
If it is a single bite, threaten it, but be patient.
What are the two types of knowledge? Eighteen types of knowledge.
Yes. Do you have to learn everything? If you can learn it, good. If you can't learn it, learn something well. Only then can you live a happy life. If you are not educated, you will be criticized by others. You will also suffer a lot. People do not respect those who are not educated. When they are old, they even make fun of them. The Rakhine monk, who wanted to expose such sins, composed the following.
That knowledge
All around, even if you can't do it.
Something, learn it.
Social housing, business.
The darkness of the night, unknown to the bird's eye
For myself, even if I have some skills
They will blame us, and we will suffer.
It's a bit of a joke, but it's not funny.
Oh, but let her laugh.
Bogabal
If people want to live without any need, they must work. They must earn money. What kind of work should they do to earn money? They can earn money by farming and trading. Not only that, they can also earn money by raising and trading animals such as buffaloes, cows, goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks. This is what the Rakhine sage wrote:
Attempt to kill, cattle, goats, pigs
The duck and the chicken are not left behind.
Growing and multiplying,
Buying and selling, pouring more and more
Beans, corn, rice, and corn are all full.
Cups, plates, gold, and silver, with a mix of
May you be rich and powerful, O Myo Swe.
The Rakhine sage has taught us to be patient in seeking knowledge. He also taught us to be patient in seeking wealth. Even though the water that falls from a waterfall (Tassat Myeik) is small, when it falls a lot, it fills a large pot. Similarly, even though the wealth of a single grain is small, when it accumulates a lot, the one who accumulates it can become rich. A bee accumulates honey in the hive by accumulating little by little. A foot builds a large mound by carrying little by little. Similarly, the Rakhine sage urges us to strive to become rich by accumulating little by little.
A large pot of soup, if you like.
The eaves are falling, the full moon is falling.
The rules and practices of the people.
The mountain of the mountain, the place of the mountain of the mountain
Wise people, gather wealth.
Make it beautiful.
Even if you are healthy, educated, and wealthy, it is not appropriate if you do not have good friends. You should associate with good friends. What kind of person should you consider a good friend? A wise person who gives advice so that you will be happy in this life and in the next life should be considered a good friend. Always associate with such people. That is why the Rakhine sage said this.
The present life, the wealth and the wealth, the two-faced, the noble one, the one who loves the noble one, the one who is always in good company. In this company, one should also be in good company with the beloved one. One should also take care of him by giving him clothes. This is what the Rakhine monk wrote and instructed.
As long as they are together, they will meet their parents, enjoy themselves, and be happy. They will dress them with sweet words and fill them with fragrance.
When you are surrounded by friendly people, you should beware of one danger. That danger is none other than the danger of envious people who will spread lies and gossip among friends, causing them to become divided and hate each other. When such a danger arises, you should be very careful, says the Rakhine monk, who did not want to be discouraged.
Soft words, no one to interrupt.
Land demolition
You are so gullible and untrustworthy.
Sareet Tabla
Although one is endowed with physical strength, intellectual strength, mental strength, and mental strength, if one is not endowed with moral strength, it is like a hand with a broken “thumb.” If one wants to be endowed with moral strength, one should avoid bad behavior. What are bad behavior? They are the five evils. Avoiding these five evils is called observing the five precepts. This is what the Rakhine monk explained as follows.
The power of the law, the life of the unkilled
Don't steal, don't take.
No wrong house, no lies.
Be humble, be virtuous, and
If you don't give charity,
Constantly building, great reward.
Furthermore, people lie and lie because of greed, anger, and ignorance. They steal and steal. They fight and fight. They kill and kill. They kill. The Rakhine monk wanted to say that if these three things are overcome with wisdom, the world will be peaceful, so he composed this composition.
Greed, anger
The ignorant are destroyed, destroyed every day.
Out of anger, furious.
Running past, seeing the light
Khin Khin Muth, a clever boy
Don't be shy, don
If you are not sure about the rules, please be polite.
Protect your knowledge and make it yours.
In short, if people want to be endowed with the five powers, they must first have diligence and perseverance. If they have diligence and perseverance, they will acquire knowledge. When they acquire knowledge, pride increases. Subdue pride.
The Rakhine monk, who was not afraid to speak, began to give this advice: "Do not accept deceitful thoughts. Keep your heart pure and be upright."
The root of the tree, the root of the tree
Longevity, wealth, and prosperity
Growing up, moving forward, with tradition
Never forget, social distancing
The most ruthless, the most straightforward.
May the star purify your heart.
