Offer two offerings to the gods.
One day, four fortune tellers came to me. They were Teacher Aye Myint, who used to give fortune telling at Shwe Phone Pwint Pagoda and now gives fortune telling at No. (18), Ma Lu Kone Road; Teacher Saw Yu Nwe, the wife of editor Maung Maung Myint Aye, who gives fortune telling at No. 205(A), Pi Tauk (5) Road, Insein New Town; Teacher Kyar Nyo Thin, who gives fortune telling at Moe Kaung Pagoda; and Teacher Shwe Ya Min Oo, who gives fortune telling at Thinkan Kyun Ananda Pagoda.
As soon as Kyar Nyo Thin entered the house, he fell asleep.
"Are you alone, Master?"
He asked.
Then I...
"Aye. Yes, I'm alone. Since there are four of you, I'm the only one who's not cute. I'll tell you right now. We'll have breakfast here. You don't have to cook or bake. You do the shopping. I'll cook."
When I said that, Saw Yu Nwe said...
"No, Master. Master is old, and Teacher Aye Myint has a bad back. So sit down quietly. My daughter, Kyar Nyo Thin, and Shwe Ya Min Oo will cook for you."
If I say... "I don't ask those three to cook because I'm afraid of being caught. The best thing is for Kyar Nyo Thin and Shwe Ya Min Oo to go to the market. Saw Yu Nwe will cook. Aye Aye Myint, who can't get up because of a backache, will wash the rice. Before washing, choose the whole rice. There are too many whole rice grains these days."
He said and took responsibility.
Then the red-haired girl...
"What should I buy?"
He asked.
"One doesn't eat four-legged animals. One doesn't eat land animals. It's hard to find food at the market because we don't eat this and that. So we do this. We'll fry the fish fillets in oil and drink dandelion leaf soup. We'll buy a set of snacks. Especially the pickled ones are better. We'll make fish paste. After eating rice, there's tea here. There's fried rice. There's also baby plantains."
I said. They started to stir. I also put the three-headed fish paste that Mawbi had given me, mixed it with turmeric powder, and put it on the stove. Then, when it was boiling , I stirred it with a spoon. Then, I strained the fish paste with a dry whisk and poured it into a large bowl. Then, Aye Myint said..
"Is there a lot of fish paste? Are you going to serve fish paste instead of curry?"
He said. Then I...
"Peel paste is a great accompaniment to a meal when there are many people eating. The food doesn't cost much. And since we are Burmese, I don't think we can eat a meal without the fish paste."
"When the Kyaung Nyo Thin sisters returned, I made dandelion leaf soup. I washed the pickled vegetables they had bought. The pickled vegetables were a type of pickled vegetables that had been traditionally made, so they were slightly sour. So I mixed vinegar and water, mixed the pickled vegetables, and soaked the pickled vegetables again. When the vegetables were cooked, I put the fish paste that I had previously strained into a new earthenware pot and boiled them again. Then I mixed the fish paste with the fish cakes, garlic, and onions and put them back in the bowl. I also crushed the five large, roasted chili peppers and mixed them in the fish paste. When everything was done, I chopped three or four green chilies and added them to the fish paste. Then the four women and I ate the rice with relish. While we were eating, Teacher Aye Myint said,
"It's been two years since our Ekantha Vedan team's Ko Tin Nwe passed away. I think it's not even a year since Kala Ko Maung Aye died. They cut his life short," said Sayar Pyay Nyo Thin.
"We have to look at the planet Ayu to see whether our life will be short or not."
When I said that, Teacher Shwe Ya Min Oo said... "Don't come and do it, old man. People who die early are the ones who die early."
When I said that, Kyar Nyo Thin...
"I've done it, but what good is it to be a fortune teller and say things like that?"
When I said that, Shwe Ya Min Oo said, "You can't just talk about longevity based on the Ayu planets, sister. There are also karma, mind, weather, and nutrition, right?"
When I replied, Saw Yu Nwe, who was washing dishes nearby, said...
"No matter what the weather or nutrition is, a person dies."
"He came in and said again. Then Aye Myint said.."
"They don't care about their health. So they die early. Maung Aye ate two packets of rice noodles for breakfast despite having high blood pressure. At night, he ate coconut milk noodles. So, can he survive without dying?"
When I said that, Saw Yu Nwe said...
"Then why did U Tin Nwe Gyi die?"
When asked, Aye Myint said...
" U Tin Nwe had asthma. That's why he died."
He replied. Then Kyar Nyo Thin said.
"Don't talk about death. The teacher is very afraid of death. Otherwise, he will not accept our arrival."
That said, I...
"A person who cuts down a tree cannot cut all the branches. He must leave the branches that are sacred. Now, will you leave the branches that are sacred? They have dragged me in too."
When he said that, the four women laughed.
Then Aye Myint...
"Leave those alone. You should ask the teacher. Isn't there a way to prolong life?"
He asked.
Then I...
"I'll ask you. Have you ever heard of Master U Thagar?"
When asked, almost all four of them...
"Just like I heard it. I don't know where I heard it."
They only gave that kind of answer.
Then I...
“Isn’t this what is written in the introduction to the Three-Tan Poṇṇṭika written by the early teacher Aweya? In addition to the subtle words, the lingka slogans, the broken lines, the remaining rhymes, and the inconsistencies of the sentences, and the rest, with the help of the various variations, and the book, in accordance with the rules of the skeleton, was written so that the minds of all those scholars were overflowing and flowing, and the one who opened it was described as the teacher U Thaga, who was born in Pyay Myo, Ywa Bere, and Nay Kyaw Tan. The teacher used to work for the Sawbwa of Thibaw. From there, he resigned from his job on the 13th day of the full moon of Waso in 1286. He resigned and returned to his hometown. Then, he was invited by his disciples in Inma. Of the 500 disciples, 250 When the master learned that they had died, he was very sad. There, he taught the remaining disciples how to offer offerings to the seven Buddhas to strengthen their past merits and to make offerings. In addition to the benefits of longevity, the seven Buddhas also brought them financial benefits, so the disciples came together to publish a book on the master's seven Buddhas. The book was printed by the Pyay Myo Lamsya Gyandeep Printing House. The first edition was printed in one thousand copies. The year of printing is (1266), the 8th day of the new moon of Ta Saung Mone. The inscription on the cover of the book is as follows:
