The next time Harry had to act out in front of the class for a long time, he had to act out a werewolf. If there was a good reason not to spoil Lockhart's fun, Harry would have refused to act like a werewolf.
"A loud, good howl... Harry... exactly... and then if you believe me... I'll jump... like this... make him fall to the floor... with one hand... I'll hold him down... with the other hand... I'll put my wand around his neck... then I'll use all my strength and use a very complicated transfiguration spell... he'll moan pitifully... go on, Harry... just a little louder... good... his fur will be gone... his fangs will be cut short and go into his mouth... then he'll be completely human... simple... but effective... and then the next village will remember me for the rest of their lives as the hero who saved them from the direwolf's attack for months..."
Just then, the bell rang, causing Lockhart to stand up again,
"I'll give you a homework assignment... Write a poem about my defeat of the werewolf Wagga Setwa... I'll sign my 'My Magic Book' to the one who can write the best."
The class was starting to file out of the room. Harry returned to the back of the classroom where Ron and Amy were waiting.
"Are you ready?" Harry asked, his lips moving. Hermione said excitedly, "Wait until it's all over... and then..."
She moved closer to Lockhart's desk, clutching a piece of paper tightly in her hand. Harry and Ron followed behind her.
"Uh...Prophet Salomon...Hey, I...wanted to borrow this book from the library...I wanted to read it for a little something useful."
Hermione stammered, handing him the piece of paper, her hand trembling slightly.
"But that book is only in the restricted books section, so I need a teacher's permission to borrow the notebook. It's to help me understand the poisonous poison in the book 'Walking Through the Village with Zombies' that the teacher is talking about..."
"What! Walking around the village with zombies... right?"
Lockhart said with a smile, taking the piece of paper from Hermione's hand with great satisfaction. He continued...
"This is a book I really, really like... Do you like it too?"
"Oh... I like it... it's so good... I wish I had trapped that last one with tea," said Hermione enthusiastically.
"Well... no one will think badly of me for giving a little help to the best student in a year."
"Lol," Lockhart said warmly, pulling out the giant peacock feather.
"What's up... isn't it beautiful?"
Lockhart asked, misinterpreting the look of disgust on Ron's face (as if he was being mean to him).
"I always kept this peacock feather just to sign books."
He stamped a large, intricate signature on the paper and handed the paper back to Hermione.
"Hey... okay"
"Lockhart said as Hermione folded the paper with shaky hands and put it in her bag."
"I heard that tomorrow is the first Quidditch match of the season, and it's going to be between Gryffindor and Slytherin... Is that right?... I've heard that you're an indispensable player. I used to be a Golden Baller too... I was even offered a place on the national team. But I'd rather be focused on destroying the evil forces of the underworld (and not playing). For now... If you need any personal training, don't hesitate to ask me for help... I'm always happy to pass on my skills to less talented players. . . "
Harry made a muffled noise and ran off in a daze after Ron and Hermione,
"I can't even believe it."
Harry said as the three of them carefully examined the signature on the paper.
"He doesn't even bother to look at the book we want."
"He's not stupid."
Hermione said in a low voice as the three of them half-ran towards the library.
"(You'll say the same thing) He told me you were the best student all year..."
Harry lowered their voices as they entered the library, where silence reigned supreme.
The librarian, Sampson, was a thin, spindly woman who looked like a starving vulture.
"A book about most potent potions... right?"
Madam Pens, unsuspecting, asked the name of the book again and tried to snatch the paper from Hermione's hand. Hermione held on to it, refusing to let go.
"I think I'll keep that paper," said Madam Pince, without even taking a breath.
June said confidently, taking the paper from Hermione's hand and handing it to Madam Pink.
"Huh... give it to me. We'll give you another ticket."
Madam Dumfries held the form and paper up to the light, as if she had discovered a forged certificate. But the examination had been successfully passed. She shuffled between the shelves and after a few minutes brought out a large, dusty volume. Hermione carefully put the volume into her bag, and they left the library, trying not to walk too fast or look like they had made a mistake.
Five minutes later, Harry and the three of them were back in the closed, broken-down, girls' bathroom. Hermione had dismissed Ron's objections (not to go there) by saying that it was a place where no one was paying attention, and therefore their freedom was guaranteed. Although Mara was crying loudly in her small bathroom, they ignored her. She ignored them.
Hermione carefully opened the book 'Mosquito Potion' and the three of them bent over the damp and stained book. One glance at the pages made it clear why the book was so limited to the shelf. Some of the potions were so terrifying to think about, others were so disturbingly illustrated, and some of them seemed to have the power to completely transform a person.
It involves a witch making extra hands grow out of her head.
"Hot here"
Hermione said excitedly as she saw the title Transfiguration Potion on a piece of paper. The page was decorated with images of people half-transforming into other people. Harry honestly hoped that the artist had imagined the looks of intense pain on their faces.
"I am the most complicated potion I have ever seen."
Hermione spoke as Harry and the three of them quickly read the potion recipe.
“Flies...slugs...flaxseeds...grasshoppers..”
Hermione muttered as her finger moved down the list of ingredients to be mixed.
"Well... it's easy to get enough of them... they're in the students' medicine cabinet... we can take them ourselves. Oh... look... the powder of a bison's horn. I don't know where we can get that... the shredded skin of a bonsai tree...
