Does culture always remain flat, uniform, and eternal, like a plain?

I don't believe that. I don't accept it. On the land of civilization, there will be low valleys. There will be high peaks, hills and mountains. (Here, high does not mean good, low does not mean bad, or inferior.)

What I mean is that the whole culture is not a constant, uniform entity. It is made up of changes and variations. The hills... the mountains... and the plains...

(2)

21. Mountain climbing,

Why do they want to climb mountains that are so high and dangerous that they can live on the ground like me? When I was young, I didn't understand or comprehend the meaning of the act, movement, and action of "climbing."

Why do you climb mountains? What do you do? What are the benefits? I once asked my father. At that time, all his answers were too big and complicated for me.

- To establish a milestone in the individual's private role,

- To demonstrate high levels of human potential,

- To allow for the growth of the mind and spirit,

- To seek new experiences,

- ... ... ... ... I didn't understand those concepts.

2 : 2. Art and Innovation

As you get older and come into contact with art, your senses expand, you see new creations, and you experience a desire to create yourself. Ask yourself this question.

Why can't we be satisfied with conventional art forms and conventional artistic feelings?

In that moment, I understood from a place deeper than my heart the meaning of mountain climbing that I had been curious about since I was a child.

Modern and postmodern new art forms are emerging powerfully from the cultural landscape.

They are hills and mountains. We want to climb those mountains and see them.

2 : 3. Questions

If someone who has always been on the plains were to ask a mountaineer what it was like, why, and what he gained, he would only get indirect answers. That is, how would you describe to someone who has never climbed a mountain the experiences and sensations that only the mountaineer himself can directly experience?

A mountaineer cannot pack all the experience, knowledge, feelings, strength, and energy he has gained along the way and give it to you in a bag. He can only give you the best possible translation of the alphabet and words. If you think this is unclear, just go and see for yourself.

2 : 4. Beneficial, not beneficial.

Some say that modernism and postmodernism are just fads. They are literary stunts. They will do no good to the world, etc. etc.

Are these new modern and postmodern artistic creations really not beneficial in any way?

In my opinion, art is not a commodity, and therefore has no use value. It does not need to be deliberately displayed.

Those who create new art (before creating an art) do not have a pre-determined place, saying, "I will write a piece of writing to benefit in some way." There is no conscious limitation of feeling. They create art honestly, as it is in the moment when it is created. Therefore, there is no direct benefit.

2 : 5. Abandonment

There is no need to feel sad about not being directly beneficial. There is no need to force oneself to do something because one is afraid of being criticized by others (or) because one wants to be considered and recognized as a great humanitarian. They do not do it. New artists are honest. They see and feel reality as it is.

Art is not something that has to be made into something. It is not something that can be molded into a predetermined shape. Therefore, they have abandoned the rules and molds that say “what is art for?” They no longer accept that anything will limit them (artists).

2 : 6. If you want to benefit

Let's say you want to use art (which is not a utility item) for good. First, you have to transform the art item into a utility item.

The most important person to change this is the art lover himself. What things should be used to change? Only by drawing on the brain, reasoning, and courage of the mind that are taught by the experience of each art lover, can art be transformed into a usable material. (Note that feeling is one thing, acceptance is another.)

2 : 7. The main person who feels it

The necessary materials (experience, reflection, maturity, life experience, etc.) for such a change are different for each person and reader. Therefore, the form of the material that depends on each of them may also be different.

This is called the primary feeling.

Suppose an artist creates a piece of metal. Whoever wants to experience it will experience it. Someone who wants to receive it will want to transform it into a weapon, such as a sword or spear. Another person will want to transform it into a mechanical part. Still another person will want to throw away the piece of metal.

All are the property of the beneficiary.

A person who thinks a postmodern art object is useless can throw it away. (It is already his property. If he wants to transform it into a useful object because he wants to be useful, he does not need to ask permission from the creator or author, nor does he need to consult with them. (You have the right to change your own object into whatever form you want.)
