Chapter (1)

Freely moving forces

From the individual to the whole nation

"The long-term value of a country is

The state was formed

"Individual human beings"

John Stuart Mill

"We only use the methods

I see many things,

"I rarely see people."

Disraeli

Heaven helps those who help themselves.

It is a well-practiced and well-documented motto.

The slogan is small. But within this small slogan is a huge boat of human experiences.

Self-motivation and self-effort are the source of all true personal growth and development.

Such individual growth and development combined will truly become the strength and power of the entire nation.

External assistance tends to weaken our own strength.

Only their own inner strength is the best motivation.

When someone else helps you with something, the person who receives help loses the motivation to act on their own, and the ability to do or not do something. When there is too much guidance and too much control, people become powerless and helpless.

Even the best help is lifeless. It is not very dynamic. In fact, people should be left to their own devices and to improve themselves. But for centuries, people have believed that “departments” will do the work for them rather than their own efforts. Thus, they have relied more on external agencies than necessary.

The truth is that the only person who can make a lazy person active and energetic, a lazy person charitable, or an alcoholic sober and sober is the person themselves. These are free movements, self-discipline, and self-denial.

In fact, the power of the state lies not in the form of its organization, but in the character of each individual involved.

A nation is made up of individuals collectively, isn't it?

Human civilization is the collective development of individuals, isn't it?

The progress of the nation is the result of the efforts, energy and integrity of the individual, combined with the formation of individual laziness, selfishness and vices. Therefore, we must work from the bottom up to improve the social situation and improve the character of the people. Here, patriotism and charity mean that helping and encouraging individuals, rather than changing laws and departments, can promote the progress of all people. It is to give them more freedom in their own activities.

I need to lose my mind.

The greatest slave of an individual is his own weakness, selfishness, and wickedness, rather than that of his master. Therefore, if there is a slave in his heart, he cannot be freed from the slave state by simply changing his teacher or department. (The ignorance, weakness, and wrong understanding that exist in a person must be eradicated and corrected by himself.)

The solid foundation of liberty must rest upon individual character.

Only then will the whole nation be secure and the whole nation prosper. The real strength of English liberty consists in this. In this consists the real strength of English liberty. The source of a man's strength is not external, they feel. It is within himself. They feel that it is due to the uprightness of his life and the exertion of his efforts, rather than to freedom of speech.

Thus, even the least able-bodied person has been able to participate in the building of the nation and the nation over the centuries. Among the thinkers and activists were farmers, miners, inventors, explorers, traders, mechanics, manual laborers, poets, writers, politicians, etc., all participated in the movement. Thus, the work of one generation was carried forward by the next generation. They built the nation and the nation. They paved the way for economic growth and prosperity. They built on solid foundations.

These noble generations of workers, the builders of civilization, created harmony in the midst of chaos. They created factories, science, and the arts. We have inherited the legacy of these ancestors. It is our duty to not only preserve it, but also to improve it and pass it on.

So it is our duty to hand it down not only unimpaired, but improved, to our successors.

This self-centeredness is unique to the English.
