Poverty is not allied with purity, but it is not directly opposed to it. The meaning is that poverty does not mean that one should remain impure or unclean.

However, the majority of poor Burmese people live in defiance of cleanliness. That is why poverty is called poverty. Poverty is like a colorless, faded, and dirty rag.

In fact, the poorer one is, the cleaner one is. A person who is poor and has only one piece of clothing, and has to wash it, has to be even more clean. No matter how poor one is, one piece of clothing cannot be exchanged for two. It is necessary to get a little help from relatives and acquaintances, so that at least one piece of clothing can be exchanged for washing. Only when one is sick and cannot do it, cannot hold it, or has no one to look after it, can it become dirty. If one does not reach such a level of suffering, one will not only not be alone on this earth, but will be abandoned by other human beings. Such a woman or man must be extremely poor. They must be those who are hated and rejected by everyone. Such women have a serious sin that makes them unsuitable for all human beings. They may even be wicked and vile themselves.

Even if the place of residence is a palm-leaf hut, poverty does not mean that it is unclean. Whether the place is not the floor but the bare earth of Mother Earth, there is a way to keep it clean and tidy.

Therefore, it can be said that it is the fault of the poor person to live in poverty, dirty and ragged.

A man or woman who is poor but lives in purity and beauty will not remain poor for long. Their outward appearance does not make them poor. Their position is not poverty, but their condition must return to its proper place. Whatever the thought, it must arise. That arising of the mind is the power of desire to help the poor to be happy.

Besides, everyone likes to look neat and clean. If two poor people go out to look for a job, the clean and tidy one has a better chance of getting a job than the dirty and ragged one. This is because the public must have an imagination that the person is not poor and ragged.

The public's imagination is not without power. That power can do good to the poor who are clean and pure.

Moreover, no matter how poor one may be, a clean person has no difficulty in entering into a relationship with another person. A dirty person does not dare to enter into a relationship with another person because of his own fear. He does not dare to put his head in a relationship with another person. When fear comes, he does not dare to think, does not dare to do, does not dare to touch, does not dare to speak, does not dare to speak. He is like a dog that has been beaten with a whip, and is trapped in the darkness of fear. How can such a person who is not visible reach the stage of success and progress?
