Burmese people do not invent new jobs, they just follow someone else's work. In doing so, they do not look at ethnic differences, but only at each other's, so there are many jobs that are prosperous and are done by ethnic differences.
These jobs are not yet done by the Burmese people. It seems that they are waiting for someone to do them and imitate them. For example, they are small jobs that seem lowly, such as making bread, making noodles, making silk, and making silk.
A few Burmese people do the work of the slats, but they are not successful, and the same is true of the Bengali work.
All work requires intelligence. If you invest a lot of money and start a big bakery like Continental without knowing that intelligence, you will surely fail. Or, like the "sowing of the field" method, you can make a loaf of bread with a little old man and a little girl, and go to Burmese and English houses, hand out advertising leaflets, invest a lot of money and do it systematically, and you will not be able to stop using Burmese-made bread.
The work is not very difficult. They start with two people to grind wheat and then they can grow it from a small scale. They do not need a large space. Among the Anglo-Indians, there are women who make various kinds of bread from their usual kitchen and sell them to their friends and relatives, making a comfortable living.
If we work honestly and diligently, we will help our fellow citizens by offering them work, “I will give them work. Will you share it with us and eat it? You sell it, and I will make it for you.”
There may be people who say, “It’s impossible, there are only so many people making bread.” When you want to do a job, you don’t need to worry about how many people are doing it or not. All you need is the intelligence and the good attitude to do it better, better, and more satisfying to your customers.
Four years ago, I came across a dumpling vendor. His dumplings were slightly larger than other dumplings, and they were served with a generous amount of coconut, sugar, and coconut milk.
"Are you a monk?" I asked him. "How can I make every greedy person earn money? I can earn money to live without having to depend on someone who is well-fed and clothed. Because I sell with a good heart, my dumplings are twice as expensive as others, and they don't take as long to sell. There is just one thing I have to do a little more work than most people."
I asked a coconut rice seller and he said, "I only have to walk around with an umbrella in the morning, and my friend is happy because he can eat fish in the morning."
"I'm not saying that I can't do a writing job that costs a hundred a month. If I could, I wouldn't do it. Since I don't have to live in a writing style, I send about sixty a month to the office. I can spend thirty to forty a month on the food I sell..." he said.
I asked a Chinese man who sold noodles... "My brother-in-law said, 'One day, I'll get drunk on opium, one day I'll eat a meal, one day I'll get drunk on women, one day I'll get a one-kyat bag of rice, one day I'll pay the rent, one day I'll get a lot of money from Myanmar, and I'll come home with a nice meal.'"
The snacks are: Clean, good-natured, not too eager to become rich. If you have this kind of mind, the poor can prosper. Why do Chinese noodle shops flourish and Myanmar shops fail? Because Myanmar lacks the diligence, they cannot cook and prepare a lot, so they want to make a profit with a little.
The Chinese are not like that. Making a lot of money with little profit requires the hard work of cooking, chopping, producing, and wrapping. The Burmese people cannot bear such hard work, so they think of selling the best and first-class products at a high price.
When Burmese noodle shops first appeared, we only had good noodles for a small amount of money, but we never had decent noodles for a large amount of money.
At this time of night, there are sellers shouting, “Seyakgyi Bae-hlaw,” “Bae-hlaw, Bae-hlaw.” One boy said that he earns two and a half kyats a night. He cannot sell until ten o'clock. He is a seller who pays a lot if he buys for a penny.
An old man sells until midnight, but he doesn't get as much as that young man. Because
It is known that he was a peddler who sold a dozen seeds for a penny at a time when the grain harvest was plentiful.
No one should go hungry if they sell with a big heart, a manly spirit, and a sense of duty. Moreover, in this day and age, those who work and seek modestly are not only not condemned, but are often praised.

Should Burmese people choose work?
The tendency to choose a job based on the idea that “this job is boring, that job is tiring,” etc., is a serious disease that has been traditionally and persistently ingrained in Burmese people.
When I examine the reason... I think that my attitude is high and I think that the work is very trivial.
Having this kind of desire for the higher level... is indeed very valuable. However... it is important to be aware that if you only have the mind in the higher level and cannot follow it wherever it goes, you will not reach your desired destination.
Those who are qualified to choose a job are few in number. Those who are not qualified with these qualifications and choose a job often end up in the hands of foreigners, causing the Burmese people to be unemployed and "not even a monk can fly or a parasol can be seen," which is a waste of time and money.
