It is called Nation Building. Among the many different meanings, one of them is ... a process of constructing or structuring a national identity using the power of the state. (Nation building refers to the process of constructing or structuring a national identity using the power of the state)

This process aims to achieve political stability and long-term prosperity by uniting the people within the country. Economic development and social cohesion are important factors in nation-building.

Why is it important?

Anil Rajvanshi points out in his own words why nation-building is important.

• All living beings want to live a comfortable and happy life. All human beings want two important things: to have a happy life for themselves and to have a better environment.
• We want to achieve a happy personal life in many ways.
• Creating a peaceful environment is the building of a nation. Only with a good environment can people work well and live in peace. A good environment can give people a sense of belonging and pride.
• Our pride should be genuine and free from "insecurity."

Including young people

In every country, young people often play a key role in nation-building.

• In any case, we must accept the current state of affairs. From there, we can build a better state that is more suitable for future society. Gratitude is an essential and important essence of humanity.
• Young people should spend at least half an hour a day, or 200 hours a year, on civil society organizations to build the nation. Civil society is an essential and important organization in nation-building.
• In addition to our livelihood and personal goals, we must interact with the social environment and take responsibility for the benefit of our country and society as much as possible. We do not need to worry about the results. Everything will happen in its own time. Even doing some social work for society will benefit you and your new generation. It is important to act with the right intention within a disciplined system.
• Nation-building means creating a good environment and must include our national characteristics. Improving social institutions is nation-building, so if possible, use your intellectual strength. If not, then participate physically.
• Always think about the improvement of your environment and your society. If you can, write about it, talk about it and share it with others.

How can I help? 

• The majority of the population lives in rural areas, and their living conditions are still underdeveloped. Their lifestyle and social life are still far from urban culture. Modern technologies have not yet reached them well.
• The fact that most of the rural people are not able to follow the mainstream does not mean that the entire society will not develop. In building a nation, all classes must participate. In one country, the youth population is the largest, while in third countries, most of them are not well educated. They still do not have a good job with security, a job that can develop for the future.
• It can create new jobs in rural areas, spread technology, diversify economic activities, and provide health and education services.
• Information dissemination, training to develop awareness, and outreach to the community must also be undertaken.
• Providing necessary financial resources, with low interest rates.
• Disseminating knowledge to make good use of existing resources.
• This can be done by sharing ideas and experiences, visiting non-governmental organizations frequently to boost morale, providing assistance as needed, and opening courses to raise awareness about health, education, and social issues.

 

Personal happiness

In the past, when measuring the development of a country, factors such as education, health, income, and life expectancy were only considered, but later, personal happiness was also taken into account.

• Happiness is a state of mind. You will be happy when you feel secure in your life. Having a secure future and increasing income also contribute to happiness.
• When a society is stable and mature, when it is secure, it gains strength. This strength can move mountains. Encourage those who feel hopeless and helpless.
• The belief that there is security and assurance reduces greed. It reduces dependence on material things and resources. It leads to a sense of spiritual growth.
• By reducing greed and anger, we will be able to create a better environment.
• Happy individuals will share their insights, knowledge, and experiences with their communities. Doing so is the essence of nation-building.

While there are those who define nation building in a simple way, like Anvil Rajvanshi, there are also definitions from different perspectives.

American style

Nation-building is not the same in every country. There may be different plans, different principles, and different goals. The prominent pattern in the progressive United States' nation-building model is

• Providing the citizens with the maximum democratic rights and instilling democratic ideas.
• Encouraging democratization in other countries.
• The most fundamental duty of Americans is to support constitutional governments in their countries.
• Only recognize and support governments that have been elected through free and fair elections in accordance with the law.
• Rule of law, the rule of law, and the separation of powers between the law and the executive branch of government.
• The above-mentioned things are the essence of democracy and make people realize that they are beneficial for the long-term good.
• To create awareness that these actions are also a national responsibility, as they are a matter of national security.
• To make it widely known that these things, while not yet a full-fledged democracy, are of great assistance in nation-building.
