Life and death
"I am unfortunate myself."
I thought he was unlucky..."

When I was young, I was very fond of the task of selecting the "good" and "bad" yams that my mother bought for me. If I had a yam that was beautiful on the outside but rotten on the inside, I would have to cook a whole pot of soup made with fresh yams. So when I ate yams, I would choose them with great care and attention.

The way to choose a toothpick is to hold one toothpick in each hand and rub it against each other. If the toothpick is greasy, the toothpick is fresh and has a clear sound. If it is rotten, no matter how tightly the toothpick is wrapped, it is likely to be rotten inside.

Children are good at picking out the good from the bad. After my mother taught me how to pick out the bad, I never picked out the “bad” ones. Whenever I ate fresh cooked rice, my family praised me as the “expert in picking out the bad”.

It's rotten everywhere.

One day, my mother came to buy some carrots from the market. I skillfully picked up a bowl and started sorting them. While I was sorting them, I noticed that all the carrots were rotten.

I couldn't believe my ears, I checked one by one. Not one of them was good. It was like a pickpocket on a bus and the whole bus was picked up.

I took the toothbrush that I had judged "rotten" and showed it to my mother. My mother was surprised and said, "How could this happen? That toothbrush seller has never lied to me before."

My mother picked up the baby teeth and examined them. Finally, the one in my left hand was rotten, so I thought every baby tooth was rotten.

This experience of "this is the end of it" left a deep hole in my fragile heart. This experience, like the spinning wheel of life, was waiting to return to its original place after one full turn.

I only met the wrong person.

After graduating from college, I got a job. I tried my best, I had high expectations for myself, and I had high expectations for myself, but at some point I couldn't look at the people around me. I saw that everyone had weaknesses and negative traits that I couldn't stand. I wanted to change them. When I couldn't change them, I avoided them.

I thought I was unlucky. Why did I have to meet such bad people? While I was drowning in this cycle of self-blame and self-blame, I remembered how to choose a partner. Had I become a “bad partner” myself?

I measured myself by my high standards and the people around me. I didn't like everyone. In fact, the only person who didn't like me was myself. I wasn't great, and people weren't great either.

I forgot to kill my mind. My "soul" wasn't as bad as I pretended, and people weren't as bad as I thought. I was sad and upset.

So I had two choices. One was to pretend to be better than others so that they wouldn't think I was inferior, and the other was to learn to respect and value others. Only when we see the good in others can we recognize our own good and value ourselves.

It took me a long time to do this. At first, I had to force myself not to strain my vision. I had to look at things that I couldn't see. Every time I tried to give up because it was too difficult, I imagined a rotten tooth that would make me lose fresh teeth.

Over the years, this method has not only improved my social skills but has also been essential in my teaching career. It has allowed me to learn how to play the instruments and learn to listen to the soft, pleasant sounds among the diverse and colorful students.

I never thought that a lesson I learned at home while helping my sister would have such an impact on my life. Now, I'm trying to learn how to be respectful and likeable, even when I'm not around.

20 Things I Want My Kids to Know

" Everything you own in life can be taken away, but...

Something that cannot be taken away under any circumstances.

"There is one."

This book is written by Dr. Htal Urdaa, who has accumulated his (27) years of education and (50) years of experience in life, and has written it as (20) most important things in life. In today's education, there is a lack of life education and character development, and teaching methods. This book is a guide for young people - adults - to understand the meaning of life, to express their talents, to have the right attitude and to have a golden future.

A brave first step,

He said he hopes it will help him own it.

The author explains the reason for this book's importance as follows.

(1) I love young people because it's not easy to understand their lives.

(2) "How to survive" in school is not taught "the basic needs of life"

(3) Young people need help from the outside world to express their talents.

(4) Because the truth is never too late. Here are 20 things he wrote to share with parents and guardians.

( 1) Success is not about getting it, it's about doing it.

Success is doing the best we can. Success is doing, not getting, not winning. (Wyn) Davis

(2) Human life is difficult and tiring.

There are sixteen thousand problems in human life. Should we complain about them or solve them? (M. Scott Pack)

(3) Life is full of joy.

Laughing openly is the highest level of human innate intelligence. (Norman Cousins)

(4) We live by choice.

God did not ask us whether we would come into the world. We did not have the right to choose whether we would come into the world, but we did have the right to choose how we would live our lives. (Ilenry Ward Beecner)

(5) Attitude is a kind of choice.

"You can have everything in life, but there is one thing that you can never take away, no matter what the circumstances. That is the freedom to choose your own attitude." (Viktor Frankl)

(6) Habit is the key to success.

There is one thing that differentiates winners from losers. It is their different character. (0 Madino)

(7) Giving thanks is a very good deed.

Don't blame yourself for what you have... the sepeozofi co you have (H. Stanley Judd)

(8) Be based on respect for others.

Whatever the subject or situation, treat others the way you want them to treat you. (Matthew Chapter 7 Lesson 12)

(9) Honesty is the best strategy.

Whether in international relations, interpersonal relationships, labor, commerce, education, or family, honesty is the best strategy. Honesty is the foundation for the most effective and lasting relationships. (Raysey Clark)

(10) The words that have become obsolete cannot pay for everything.

There is nothing in the world as powerful as a kind word of encouragement. A smile, a happy word, a hopeful word, can give strength to another person. When you face a challenge, say the words, “You can do it.” (Richard M. Devos)

(11) The true source comes from within.

Whoever you are, however old you are, if you want to achieve success for a lifetime, you should have a goal that is truly within you. (Paul J. Meyer)

(12) Goals are the foundation of dreams.

People with ambition succeed because they know where to go and how to get there. (Earl] Nightingale)

(13) Hard work alone cannot be compared to success.

The best reward in life is “the opportunity to do hard work that is worth doing.” (Theodore Roosevelt)

(14) There is gain and there is loss.

Decide what you want, decide what you can trade for. Make a clear plan. Then start working. (H, Lamar Hunt)

(15) Successful people create time.

Time is life. It does not turn back. It does not come back. Wasting time is wasting nothing. Seizing time is seizing life. Life is lived to the fullest. (Alan Lakein)

(16) Self-respect is a kind of success.

Self-esteem is a self-worth that comes from the deepest part of you (Denis Waitley)

(17) A spirit needs nourishment and training to grow and thrive.

The nature of the body and mind determines who we are and our health. (D- Call Thoresen)
