The Konbaung period was a time when Burmese literature, music, and other arts developed in all aspects. The Rama and Inaung plays from abroad were translated into Burmese and made Burmese in Burmese style and style, resulting in the creation of Burmese Rama and Burmese Inaung.
Just look at the Ramayana that entertains tourists in ancient Thailand, now Thailand. The story is just a glimpse, but its poignancy and suspense, the character's arrogance, and the artistry are unmatched by the Burmese Ramayana.
By presenting and dancing these plays, literature improved. Music education improved. The Nyaungyan period, also known as the Second Inwa period, improved more than the period of the Minister of the Daya Raja. New music and new sounds appeared. During the period of the Minister of the Daya Raja, singing and playing were only done in the Thanro area, but during the Konbaung period, new sounds appeared.
As is well known, the most prominent figure in the Konbaung period was King Myawaddy U Sa. Among the women was the Western Queen Mya Kaley. People who could write songs also appeared. Musicians emerged.
This does not include those who write poetry such as Yatu, Tetat, Laycho, Dwecho, and Aichin. Those who compose songs and sing, play musical instruments, and play drums.
