One direction

A former writer once gave a sermon.

“My brother... what do you want to be in your life? Think carefully about what you want to be, and then decide. That decision should not be swayed by any reason. If you are sure about what you want to be, you should have only one specific goal. - If that person says... yes, then go for it, if that person says... yes, then go for it.” .

When I think about it, that statement is so true that it makes me bleed. Throughout my life, I have met people who are scattered, wandering here and there, doing things here and there, and their goals are confused. They are not always sharp. Their achievements are also uneven.

We have seen similar examples of such mistakes during our university years. A friend of mine was interested in trading and commerce. He should have chosen to study economics. However, because of his friendship with his friend who was interested in becoming a writer, he did not study economics but studied at the University of Arts and Sciences and studied Burmese. He did not have a passion for reading. He had not read a single novel about the times, let alone poetry. After studying for years, he could only get a simple degree in arts. Nothing special happened. In fact, if he had studied economics, he would have excelled. Or he would have been successful in the business environment where he would have lived.

“Everyone has invisible strengths. When you combine these strengths with a single, strong goal, success is certain.”

For those who lack a single direction and consistency, success is always elusive. If energy is scattered and not focused, concentration is also often lost.

Some people change things because they are not focused on one thing at a time. They keep changing things because they are not focused on one thing at a time. Success is often a slippery slope. Time is wasted because something is not working. Time is also wasted because something is changing. Since you have to start from scratch, the outcome is uncertain whether you will succeed or not.

Therefore, in life, ``For those who want to reach their goals and succeed, they must set a single direction and "focus on the path to the destination and not waver the flag even if the boat is empty.'' If we examine the people who are successful today, they did not reach the top by jumping on the sand. - It is because they endured the world with the spirit of "diving into the sand and climbing out" and worked hard.

Take it seriously.
Don't lose blood.

Some say that life is from the moment one leaves the womb until death. Some say it poetically that life is a struggle with the worldly things. Some say it bluntly that life is a battle. He and his views, his philosophy, may be right and correct.

If you want to build a life, you need to be able to build it successfully. If you look at those who are successful in life, they are not those who are afraid of danger. They are not those who are afraid of danger. They are those who take life seriously and are able to endure the hardships of the world.

They have direction.

They had a goal in mind. They walked towards their goal with their direction nailed down, but they never took it lightly. They never said anything. They never did anything. They never ignored the little things - they took it seriously.

The Magga Vagga Pautthila Thera from the Dhammapadu is a Thera who can recite the Three Precepts. However, he is a person who does not strive to be free from the suffering of samsara and is a person who is obsessed with knowledge. Therefore, whenever the Buddha [saw] the Thera, he would say, “Vain Pautthila..Vain Pautthila.” When he heard this, he became frightened.

"I am a person who can recite the three Pitakas together with the Eighth Chapter. I am also a person who teaches five hundred monks. But every time the Buddha met me, he said, 'I am an empty vessel.' That is because my monkhood is not yet finished."

After thinking about it, he went to the forest. He became a disciple of the great monks who lived in the forest monastery. The great monks did not accept him and sent him away one by one... until he finally came to a young monk, who was only seven years old.

He is indeed a great monk. He is a young monk.

However, he did not lose heart. He was serious and accepted the young monk as his disciple, even though he had a towel and a broken snake's fang. (Indeed, the young monk had already attained arahantship.) Whatever the young monk asked him to do, he did it humbly. He had already set a goal for himself. He had already set a goal. He was serious about reaching that goal.

Here, the young monk, by contemplating the example of the mountain of thorns with his mind, closed the five doors of the mind, the door of sight, the door of the body, the door of the mind, the door of the body, etc., and by concentrating on the door of the mind, did he not reach the goal of arahantship?

Wow. ...

Therefore, for anyone who wants to be successful, it is necessary to be serious about everything, not to be indifferent.

Where should I live?

Those who want to succeed, progress, and prosper in their lives need to choose the right place in the world. This is why the saying “right person, right place” has emerged. In the Mingalar Sutta, spoken by Gautama Buddha,

"The region of the physical body is white,

"Eta Mangal Mottaman"

It is found that the meaning is -

"Living in a suitable place is a great blessing."

And so it was.

Those who want to succeed and prosper need to choose the right places to live and live in. In a Buddha's dream, a bull
