A pure memory of when we were young •••

Sometimes, he would fry noodles in our office and his work was very good. We tried to imitate him and fried noodles ourselves, but we couldn’t match his work. U Phone Myint’s fried noodles were sweet. When I asked him what kind of sweetener he used, he laughed out loud.

The way he was laughing was a triumphant tone, so I thought with WISDOM that there was a secret to the fried noodles. Then I realized that when the pure soybean oil used to fry the noodles was heated in the pan, a piece of lard was added. The lard made the fried noodles more delicious than the sweet noodles. I was told not to eat this kind of fried noodles.

Once, when I asked my friend why she and her husband were fighting, she said that the husband didn't eat pork. He asked the wife to cook chicken curry with pure soybean oil. The wife had put a piece of pork fat in the chicken curry to save oil, and the husband had noticed that the husband was looking at the pot.

Once, a friend of my wife's opened a restaurant. My wife went to visit her. When we got to know each other, my wife went to the kitchen where the food was being cooked. The goat soup was selling well and they needed some broth, so the owner said that he had mixed the broth from the pork fat soup pot into the goat soup pot. So, people who eat goat meat have high blood pressure after eating pork fat.

A restaurant owner's good intentions

A restaurant owner said that he only uses pure soybean oil in his restaurant. This is his kindness. However, I once ordered a fried egg at his restaurant. At that time, the fried egg was fried in pure soybean oil. But the fried egg smelled of fried fish. Because he filled the whole pan with a lot of oil and fried fish, fried eggs, and fried goat meat and chicken with the remaining oil. The oils used in this way are more dangerous than lard. They also promote cancer.

Sometimes, the oil in the frying pan turns black and is very dangerous. Some shops also sell pure soybean oil, and there are restaurants that use pure soybean oil and cook it properly. I don't want to say that every time you buy it from a shop, it is dangerous.

Modern chicken

When we were young, chicken was local chicken and had no fat. Nowadays, farm-raised chickens are fat and the meat is falling apart. One day, I was walking through a market and I met a chicken farmer. His shop had a strict policy of removing all the fat from the chicken. I didn't ask if he was throwing away the harmful fat. He said he was ordering from a restaurant. I asked him in a whisper and he found out that the restaurant he was ordering from was the same restaurant I used to eat at. So I stopped eating there.

I once knew a family that owned a restaurant. I would often buy chicken and if they cooked it for their family, they would separate it from the chicken they cooked for their family. Later, I found out that they cooked the small pots of food for their family with pure soybean oil and the large pots of food for their customers with palm oil. I don't think this should be done.
