Two kinds of expectations

It is said that a life without hope is futile. There are two kinds of hope. It is necessary to distinguish between “hope” and “expectation.” It is not yet, it is not possible. It is not yet. It is supposed to be. It is expected to come. In this waiting, faith is involved. It can be divided into weak and strong faith. In “hope,” faith is weak, and there is uncertainty about what will happen, what will happen, and what will come. (In English, “hope” is called Hope.) In expectation, if you think that something will happen, what will happen, or what will come is certain, or almost certain, or certain, rather than expectation, you are expecting it. (In English, it is called Expect.)

Hope and longing include prayers for "may it happen," "may it come," and "may it come." When a friend encouraged a patient who was already suffering from cancer, "I can't die," and "I won't die," the patient looked at the supporter and said in English, "Thope so." The prayer that he might not live long enough to live, but that he might be lucky enough to not die, is embedded in those three words. Knowing that there is no hope, he clings to life too tightly, clings too tightly, and resists hopelessness by longing.

Human life is full of troubles. Things that don't happen happen. Things that you want to happen don't happen. People you want to come don't come. Because of these things that don't happen, there is suffering. As if seeing a bright light shining on the edge of a dark mountain, we try to lift our spirits with another hope that has not been fulfilled. Humans can only live in hope. Whether we have hope or not, we have to have hope.

Even when they know there is no hope, they rely on fate and hope, thinking that it may happen without expecting anything. Even when the situation is so bad that they cannot hope, people rely on their circumstances and are forced by nature to be close to those around them, and in the uncertain life of humanity, they look for a small ray of hope and rely on it. Hope becomes like a straw that is drowning in the accumulation of troubles in the uncertain life situation.

The expression “Tomorrow will be better than today” is a phrase that describes hope. People work with hope in mind. They may drown while rowing. They may fall while running. They may fail while working. It is said that there are a thousand opportunities for a cup of liquid to slip between the lips and the cup when they are about to drink. This phrase is a phrase that describes the Dhamma of the Sankaras.

In a life filled with such uncertainty and uncertainty, without hope, one would not be able to live. Therefore, hope is a kind of wishful thinking that guides one to continue working while waiting for the fate of the world. Worldly affairs cannot be avoided by the worldly. One must act in the moment before death. Therefore, while doing worldly work, one must keep the thought “not yet destroyed” between oneself and the worldly things. The worldly
