Chapter (1)
“Richard was thinking back and forth about the urgent task he had recently been given.
The task was different from any other job he had undertaken before, and was both enormous and fraught with danger.
“As much as Richard has won in the past when he has bravely and recklessly fought against the enemy villains, I doubt he will win this time.”
He had escaped death many times, but would he escape this time?
Despite this, "Richard" is a very strong-willed man, determined to fight and suppress the evils of his enemies, even if it means dying.
If he decides to fight until he dies, he will.
It was a very hot summer in June in the United States.
"Richard" was thinking about the person he had scheduled a meeting with.
"Gordon" is a "Jean" (detective) in the secret service of the Central Intelligence Agency.
When contacting the department, he did not use his real name "Richard" but used the pseudonym "Coutin" = when "Gordon" called to make an appointment...
"Hello, Mr. 'Coutine,' I have an important list to give you, and I want you to come see me as soon as possible. You know the cemetery in the 'Greenwich' neighborhood, right? I'll be waiting for you at the southeast corner of that cemetery. Come as soon as possible," he said.
"Gordon" must have had a reason for making such a phone call. He must have received important information regarding the work assigned to him by the CIA's secret service and wanted to inform him as soon as possible.
As Richard drove his car to the Greenwich Cemetery where Gordon had arranged to meet him, he thought to himself that there might be some danger in the place he was going. = This was one of Richard's unique qualities.
He often instinctively senses when a life-threatening situation is imminent. This is a skill that comes from his experience in various battles against various dangers.
Animals have a kind of instinct that automatically senses when danger or their natural enemies are approaching.
This kind of "high" consciousness was acquired by "Richard" through his experiences of escaping death several times.
Now, as I drive to the appointed cemetery, I know in my heart that I will face a near-death experience.
Knowing that there were gangs everywhere who wanted to kill him, especially those who brutally killed criminals, Richard walked with great caution. As he approached the cemetery, his eyes scanned the surroundings carefully.
Instead of immediately heading to the southeast corner of the cemetery where he had arranged to meet "Gordon," he drove around the corner and assessed the situation.
Suddenly, there was no danger or suspicious stranger.
A young couple with their children stand quietly by a grave in a cemetery. It seems they have come to mourn the loss of a deceased relative (perhaps one of their own).
Not far away, an elderly couple stood near a grave, tears streaming down their faces. It seemed they were visiting the grave of one of their children.
On the street near the appointed corner, an old man who looked like a pensioner was walking slowly, as if he was longing for his deceased wife's grave.
As it is now, it is safe to assume that there are absolutely no suspicious strangers around the cemetery.
“Richard” parked his car behind a “Plymouth” car.
The driver in front, Khin Aung, was sitting reading a newspaper as if waiting for someone.
"Richard , always alert, carefully checked his belongings before getting out of the car.
These were a 9mm “Browning” automatic in black pouches slung over the shoulder inside the coat, two pistols (13 rounds each), and two 5-point “Col” pistols.
Two .25-caliber pistols were strapped to his pants in specially designed hidden leather pouches. - After carefully checking the ammunition and firing buttons of all four guns, " Richard" looked around.
About 200 feet to his left, he noticed that CIA detective “Gordon” had arrived. “ Gordon ” was standing with his back to “Richard,” dressed in a real workman’s uniform, posing as a forklift driver named “Cream.”
About 200 feet to the west of where "Gordin" stood, the funeral ceremony was being held by the Riyan community, as is customary, with a large crowd.
Richard looked back to where Detective Gordon had been standing, and about 75 feet away from him, two men who looked like cemetery workers were pulling grass on the ground.
This is also something that is common around cemeteries, so there is no reason to be suspicious. = “ Richard” approached CIA detective “Gordon” and stood side by side, starting to talk.
"Wait a minute.. Why are you asking me to meet you for something so important? It could be dangerous for you and me to meet and talk in a place like this, right?"
"Richard," he said, looking around again, "and seeing evidence of the danger he had suspected."
I saw a gun barrel sticking out from behind a large tombstone not far away.
Gordon, as if noticing, replied to Richard's words.
"So... we've got a complete list of the New Dawn members in the Brooklyn area that we're targeting. The list is..."
Before he could finish speaking, Richard...
"Hey man, try crouching down."
As he spoke, Gordon was thrown to the ground.
At the same time, his other hand, with incredible speed, pulled a Browning Mow Tomcat pistol from inside his jacket.
The two of them entered the ground and within seconds, they heard two gunshots, and two .38-caliber bullets whizzed past where they had been standing earlier.
If Richard had wanted to pull Daw Din and not held back, those two bullets would have surely hit them both and killed them.
Richard had already seen the two enemies who had shot at them, and while still crouching on the ground, he fired a single shot with his pistol.
One of Richard's unique talents was that he was a very accurate shooter and never missed a shot.
Now the bullet he fired did not miss.
His bullet hit one of the two gangster gunmen squarely in the chest, causing him to fall and collide with his companion next to him.
The second gunman, still reeling, fired a shot that hit Gordon in the right shoulder.
Richard had seen this kind of battle many times before, and he was sure that there would be more of them besides the two gunmen who had attacked them now.
Therefore, in order to face the rest of the people, Gordon...
"Hide behind the graves, so we can survive."
Saying that, he himself went behind a tall tomb and took cover.
Gordon was shot and could not walk properly, so Richard had to help him and take him to the shelter of a tomb.
At that moment, bullets rained down on them from both sides.
Richard and Gordon were being surrounded by enemy fire from three sides, forming a triangle.
Four enemy bullets hit Gordon - one in the ear and three in the side - and he fell to the ground, almost dying before he could even fall.
Richard himself, considering that he was surrounded by enemies on three sides (and was in a real pinch), decided to fight with extreme caution to defeat them all.
First, he took a single shot at the group of enemies on his right, hitting a gunman and knocking him down. At that moment, two men fired back at him, causing him to fall to the ground.
Richard tried firing a gun to his left. Immediately, two bullets came back from the enemy.
The bullets only missed him because the tomb was protected by a stone wall.
Richard peeked over the edge of the grave and saw two enemy gunmen.
One was wearing sunglasses, and the other was an ugly man with a flat face.
Richard, thinking there was an enemy behind him, fired two shots, but the two bad guys immediately returned fire, the bullets only hitting the wall of the tomb.
I was amazed as I peered at the two men from the side of the tomb.
"In the end, there were two men pretending to be cemetery workers, and they were hiding in the grass. One of them looked like a guy I knew... I knew... "Fred," he muttered softly.
