Chapter (1)

Past and present... present and past, sadness and joy, and then joy and sadness.

This is the mind, our own mind. Our mind, unable to focus on the senses, is still in the present moment, shrouded, haunted, and modified by the shadows of the past and the shadows of the future.

The city is beautiful. More beautiful than before.

“Hey, Myat Thanh, okay... Myat Maung, get in. The other cars have already left. What are you looking at?”

"They're going somewhere, let them go, we'll just go calmly."

“You’ve changed a lot.” “Really, Myint Aung?” “Well... talk to you later, well..... we have a lot to talk about.”

Myint Aung got in the driver's seat and sat next to him in the front seat. Myat Thanh closed the car door.

A yellow pickup truck rolled out of the clean, wide, and beautiful coastal road.

"Now... tell me, what have I changed so much?"

"You've become more handsome and graceful, your sexuality seems to have grown, and your face no longer has the youthful, arrogant look. Well, your name is Myat Maung now. Do you prefer me calling you Myat Thang? I'm a broken-hearted person."

"Call me whatever you like, and now you know how to call me. I won't answer anymore."

"What did you say?" "But... it's all over."

While steering the car, Myint Aung frowned and glanced at Myat Thanh.

Then he looked back and said calmly.

"Aye.....it's all over,

Myat Thanh remained silent, saying nothing.

“Since specialists from Yangon will be attending the opening of the new operating room, I don’t think you’ll be there first, and then I’ll get a call from you.”

“This is an invitation to show you how to handle and use the new tools.”

"Aye... Anyway, you're back in our city, and I'm honored that you're staying at my house."

"That's all, you're a university lecturer too."

After a few moments, Myint Aung burst out laughing.

“Hey.. Hey, we’re not two boys walking on dry land in the stream anymore, what are you talking about, primitive(v) a(j), ha ha”

"You still remember me."

"Huh... I remember, Bal... Have you forgotten everything?" - Myat Thanh sighed involuntarily.

"I don't deceive myself like that. What's done is done, but what's left in my heart remains. I have to accept that fact and live my life straight."

"You're done being like this."

"I got it, I got it, just like you said, I'm back in this city, I dare to come back."

"Oh... I'm glad to hear that." The car started driving along the winding road.

Taung Waing Road, No Thanya is speaking. The scenery is different from before.

“Why are you quiet?” “The scenery.” “What happened?” “It seems cleaner... more beautiful... more peaceful.” “Yes. It's not like you're destroying the beauty of the city anymore.” “Ah... yes.”

Myat Thanh looked back at the natural slope, the meadow, and the garden that gently sloped down from the mountain.

"Look at the pond in front of you, you'll be amazed." Yes. Amazing. That

Previously, if you looked from that place, you could see it. A dark,

Now, the road running east from the intersection is as green as a country road, wide and magnificent. At the intersection, there is a beautiful stone pillar, a symbol of the city. “The most beautiful place is the one where there is no longer a big tree that spoils the beauty. How beautiful it is now!”

After reaching the intersection, Myint Aung drove the car to the left, following the Kyaik Ma Yaw intersection.

"Isn't your house on the university campus?"

"Yes, I have something to show you, roads that didn't exist before, and I'll turn back from the General's Road and go to my house."

In the distance to the left is the green Kyaik Thalan mountain range. And because it is spring, there are golden brown remnants of broken trees and fields, and because there is a swamp, there are green grass and plantations.

On the right, from the forest to the mountain, new houses, new buildings, new neighborhoods.

Myint Aung stopped the car somewhere on the right side of the road.

“What are you doing?” “You must be interested.” “What?” “Don't you remember? It's the Pi Tauk Yeik Thar where you can't pick flowers.” He remembered. Not only did he remember, his heart skipped a beat. He got out of the car with Myint Aung.

“You said, what’s left in me is left, but if you accept it and live life straight, it’s good, if you look at life straight, and if you accept that what’s gone is also a part of life.”

“I understand what you’re doing, Myint Aung. Don’t talk too much, just go.”

"The past..." "Don't talk too much"

"I'm just saying, I don't know if you remember the old place, let's go look for it."

I don't know if it makes sense.

However, a strange interest is stirring.

A small hill, a small, pure hill.

Only small trees are growing. Here and there, small patches of trees still remain.

The surrounding forests are lush green in spring.

Ah... well, nature is nature.

The sky was blue, with white clouds, thin and beautiful. The sun was bright and clear.

"Is the spring breeze blowing naturally?" Myint Aung said as he walked ahead.

"It's nice, they've planned to use this place to make it more beautiful and elegant."

Even as he spoke, Myint Aung's eyes kept looking here and there.

After a moment, he said, "Ha... over there, isn't that the place?" He pointed to a small, isolated clump of trees.

There are about three fairly large jackfruit trees, a diamond tree, and a hibiscus tree.

The two friends stopped under the shade of the trees.

Myint Aung pointed to the trunk of a jackfruit tree.

There was a rusty iron rod on the trunk. Myat Thanh looked at the ground. Nothing. Nothing. Only the red flowers of the diamond tree were on the ground. The yellow flowers of the lotus tree were also golden.

The paddy fields are not yet in bloom. There are still small, green buds.

The branches and leaves of the trees are gently swaying in the wind.

Oh... even if the lotus and lotus flowers bloom, his heart will be filled with joy.

Myat Thanh stared silently at the ground, which was empty of anything but flowers and leaves.

A melody appears in the ear.
