Introduction

This monk preaches the Dhamma of “Enhancing Personal Character” aimed at everyone, regardless of age, race, religion, or position. I think those who want to try to improve their qualities in various ways will find something to think about and learn from it.

When people compare what they have potential for and what actually happens, they find that there is a huge gap between what is possible and what actually happens.

There is a possibility of living in peace and harmony. There is a possibility of living happily and peacefully. There is a possibility of being a person with high performance, with various skills and knowledge.

Why aren't more of the good things happening than they are now? We should ask this question seriously and seek the answer.

Do you want to be a better person with a better attitude, more loving, compassionate, and empathetic, a better person in the way you speak, act, think, and reason? If you truly want to be that person, you will need to work hard and practice for a long time.

This should be everyone's most fervent desire, and becoming a person with these qualities is the most rewarding work. The most satisfying work.

If you practice mindfulness in everything you do, and become more aware of the thoughts you are thinking, your mental state will improve, your intelligence will become more profound, and the quality of your work will increase.

It will get better. That way, you will be more satisfied with life. The meaning of life will also become more profound.

Because I know how important mindfulness is, I always preach to all my disciples to be mindful. I have heard this Dhamma about “living mindfully” and have worked hard to practice mindfulness.

I was told that they do. I am very happy about this.

If you want to live a life of meaning and peace, if you want to contribute to the world in the most effective way, if you want to be a calm, stable, and mature person, if you want to make the most of your time, be mindful of every moment, every moment.

May we be more mindful and better than our current situation,

Sayadaw U Zaw Tika (Maha Myaing Towra)

To raise your personality

For many years, he has been teaching lay people about the mind, body, and how to live a peaceful and mindful life. There are many lay people who are interested in these topics. The reason why they have been interested for so many years is because they have a similar personality to this monk.

People with similar personalities tend to have similar interests. Because their personalities and hobbies are quite similar, it is easier to communicate with each other in the long run. I think they also have similar interests. They are probably people who have met in life.

Now the monk wants to talk about the topic of Personality. When translated into Burmese, this word is translated as personality. This is also said with the word samuti sattara. There are two kinds of truth. Samuti sattara and Paramatta sattara, the word that I am talking about now is the word samuti sattara. That is why I use the word Personality, and Paramatta sattara

In other words, there is no Personality, only matter and spirit. Matter and spirit are not Personality.

Everyone's highest goal

According to the monk, what is the highest goal of every person?

The highest goal and strongest desire of every human being is to achieve the fullest development of human life, the highest realization of one's own potential.

One of the many books I read when I was a young monk was "The Power of Personality." It can be translated as "The Power of Personality." As I read that book, I really liked it. I realized that it was important.

Personality is translated as personality, but what is personality? Personality means everything in a person. Appearance is also in Personality. The way you style your hair is also in Personality. The way you dress is also in Personality. The way you speak, the way you sit, the way you walk, the way you behave, the way you interact with people are all part of Personality.

The personality of a person with their hair pulled back and undone is different from the personality of a person with their hair neatly combed. | Observe for yourself. Look at a person's hair.

You can judge his personality by looking at his clothes. Similarly, by looking at the different colors and patterns of the bean bag, you can guess the personality of this person in his current situation today.

People's moods are different at different times. Sometimes, when they are calm and peaceful, they wear clothes that convey a sense of calm. Sometimes, when they are happy and joyful, they wear clothes that convey a sense of happiness.

In other words, my mood changes depending on the type of clothing I wear. I went from wearing what I'm wearing now to wearing a white shirt and tie...

Let's see what happens in my mind. It's true that I'll change one thing. I'll try to change from wearing a long-sleeved shirt to a coat and pants. I wonder what will happen. My mind will change another thing.

So people tend to choose clothes that match their mood. In other words, the clothes they wear influence their mood. So | The way they dress is in their personality.

All clothing, possessions, and accessories definitely have some kind of positive or negative influence on your personality.

There is.

Similarly, the way they speak is also part of their personality. The way they use words reflects their personality. Some people use a lot of slang. They use a lot of modern words. Some people don't know what they are saying, they don't understand. They don't understand what they are saying in Burmese, so they have to explain it to them. There are different ways to use words depending on the era, age, level, class. Some people use simple words.

The mental state of a person who uses simple words is different from the mental state of a person who uses a lot of modern words. They have different views on life. They also have different self-respect and respect for others. This means that these two people tend to take everything seriously.

And it expresses the meaning of taking anything lightly and superficially.

So, I often tell my close disciples, "Don't use too much slang, it ruins your personality. Don't wear clothes that are too fashionable, too loose, or too messy, it ruins your personality."

Some of the clothes have loose edges. This is not good. Because the clothes are not neat, it is known that the mind is not neat. They say that the person who wears clothes without a hem is not neat. The mind of a person who wears clothes without a hem. . What will happen to him? His mind is not neat. As they say, "Untidy is a mess. " His mind is not neat.

If you study the Buddha's teachings, the monks are told, "You should not wear a robe that is torn to the size of a palm." I'm not saying that you should throw it away, I'm saying that you should patch it up. "You should not wear a robe that is torn at the edges. If the edges are torn after wearing it for a long time, you should put it back together. These are all in the Buddha's teachings.

When monks go from town to town, they must walk with a straight gait. They must not walk too fast or too slow. They must not bow their heads.

No, I shouldn't go too wild, I should just be regular and have some self-control.

You have to go. These are the things that God teaches us for a good personality. Let us truly develop fully in our lives.

If you want to grow, you can't take these issues lightly.

Especially for those who are practicing meditation, be careful. When you are about to meditate, be mindful of your clothes. If you change your clothes, your mindfulness and concentration will change.

So , when you are very good at mindfulness, concentration, and meditation, after you have finished your practice, examine why it is good. Don't think while you are still practicing. After meditating, think, ' Today's meditation was very good, very comfortable, why...' Think back to what you have done since dawn. . What kind of thoughts did you have, what kind of work did you do, what kind of clothes did you wear, what kind of food did you eat, who did you talk to, and what kind of words did you say? Think about it.

Try it once. Put on some simple clothes and meditate. Let's see what happens. Your mood changes. You need to understand the meaning of the word Mol. A calm and peaceful state of mind is also a kind of mood, a simple

Paul Lolli: A relaxed state of mind is also a kind of mood. If that mood is right, meditation is fine.

Therefore, from the moment you wake up in the morning, you must adjust your mood. If you meditate as soon as you wake up , your mind will become alert, calm, and peaceful, and you will have a stable, peaceful, and dignified mood . You must maintain this mood without letting it get out of hand. You must also control your eating, drinking, and doing things with this mood.

When you talk, don't just say random words. If you talk randomly, your mood will be ruined. Don't read random books or watch TV, if you do, your mood will be ruined.

If you maintain a calm, reverent, steadfast, and noble mind throughout the day, you will easily attain mindfulness and concentration when you sit in meditation.
