A birth date is a brief record of the year, month, day, and hour of a person's birth. The birth date is usually written on a "Kyima Na" palm leaf.
This custom was widespread in Myanmar long before the use of paper was widespread. As soon as a child was born, the father would rush to a monastery with a clock, or to the house of a chief or landowner with a clock, and ask for the time.
Then he approached an expert in writing, gave him the time and date he had noted, and asked him to make a date for it.
A scribe usually writes on a palm leaf prepared by the priest without asking for any fee. The palm leaves are spread out to the sides, so they can be read. Standing in a prison
Crows cannot rest on the branches of the palm tree. Therefore, the palm tree leaf that does not rest on the branches is considered to be endowed with high virtues. A person's special birthday is also considered sacred.
It is believed that writing on a palm leaf will bring good luck and fortune to the person concerned.

The palm leaves that radiate from the palm branch have veins. On the left side of the veins are the palm leaf flesh.
When the palm leaves are picked, pressed into a flat shape, and dried in the sun, they are flattened in layers, like a piece of paper. A palm leaf vein is often attached to both sides of the palm leaf.
The scribe used a knife to cut about a palm leaf to write the scribe's name. The two pieces of palm leaf are attached to the vein. The shape of the scribe's palm leaf is similar to a small meat cleaver. The place of the bone is the vein of the palm leaf.
The following is usually written on the palm leaf of the date palm.
“Zeyattu..On the 3rd day of the 3rd month of the Tanghu month of the late Kawza era, at 11:30:15 p.m., the mother of the bride gave birth to a pure son. His name is Maung San Aye. May he live to be 120 years old.”
The palm leaf is held by its bone and hung on the wall or roof of the house. People ask people to cast fortunes when they are financially well off. The reason for asking people to cast fortunes in this way is because people do not write on palm leaves with ink. With the widespread use of paper, pencils, pens, and ink, this custom has almost disappeared.

I have heard that because of this, she was free from crime and was allowed to marry the king. A horoscope is considered to be a description of what will happen to a person from the time of birth to the time of death. Therefore, the Burmese are very fond of making horoscopes. They quickly write down the date of the birth and give it to a fortune teller when they have money.
The astrologer first gathered and prepared palm leaves and tied them together with string. He cut them to make a beautiful shape. The reason for using palm leaves in layers is because they are not as strong as wood. Later, large copper horoscopes were made by adding many layers and covering them with lids.
On the other side of the horoscope, the birth date and month of the person are listed. The description is more precise and complete than the daily horoscope. It ends with, "It includes not only the day, month, day, and hour, but also the signs of the zodiac, and may you live to be 120 years old."

On the other side, a circle is engraved on the left and a flower-like pattern on the right. The circle is divided into parts and the 12 zodiac signs are depicted. The pictures on the right also include what are called "Sinnakshatras".
The Burmese people keep their horoscopes in a “horoscope” and keep them in a high and sacred place. If a person is not healthy, they take the patient’s horoscope to a fortune teller and ask for a fortune. They often go on pilgrimages as directed by the fortune teller.
Some are healthy and want to make a profit.
Because of this, they still ask fortune-tellers in the name of checking horoscopes.
The two lovers, no matter how much they love each other, are not yet married. No matter how much they agree, it is not yet fixed. The horoscopes of the two lovers are shown to the astrologer. If the astrologer reads the horoscopes and says that they are not compatible, the two lovers will have to part ways.
Although horoscopes have played a significant role in the social and economic life of Myanmar, today there are fewer people who have horoscopes. Birth records provided by maternity wards and maternity hospitals are used instead of horoscope charts.

Literature
When talking about literature, they often use the word "literature" in conjunction with "literature" instead of "literature" alone. They think that it is complete only when the word "literature" is used and written as "literature".
Even though I was told not to stop studying,
“Missing my mother and father, feeling sad and depressed, my heart is broken, my mind is not clear, I come home without thinking about literature, I am not learning literature, I am very lazy” .... is found in the advice of the new teacher. Similarly, in the advice of the new teacher of the Maharatthasa, it is found in the words, “Even my son and wife, who are ignorant and unskilled, are exposed to literary words every day.” In addition, there are many other words that use the word “literature”.
So, what is “pa”? What kind of thing is it? In the Susipubha Discourse of the Maharatthasara, it is said, “Do not discuss, do
The term literature came into being in the context of the fact that the words written on such a piece of paper were memorized.
A leaf is a plant. It is called a leaf or a leaf because it is a leaf from a palm tree. A palm tree is a genus of palm trees, and like palm trees and coconut trees, it has leaves that grow around the trunk and fall off when it is ripe. The leaves of a palm tree are similar to palm trees in that they grow at the tips of the branches.
However, while palm trees continue to bear fruit year after year, palm trees tend to die after only one use, hence the proverb, "One palm is worth one crow."
Whether you travel by sea or by land, you have probably seen trees that stand out from the shadows of the green countryside, with long branches spreading out in all directions. These are the car-foot trees.
The palm tree is a much larger tree than the palm tree. It bears fruit later. The palm tree has thorns on its fronds, just as the palm tree has thorns on its fronds. The palm leaves are very similar to the palm leaves, but the palm leaves are significantly larger. The palm leaves cannot be twisted into ropes. The palm leaves can be twisted into ropes.
If you pull a palm leaf lengthwise, it will easily come apart. If you do the same with a palm leaf, you will see that many fibers are released. Therefore, the palm leaf is stronger than the palm leaf. Since it is stronger than the palm leaf in this respect, it is possible that the palm leaf was used as a writing material.
Footnotes
It is known that the tradition of writing on paper has existed since the Sri Khattar era. The Burmese of the Bagan era received this tradition from the Sri Khattar Pyu. Later, writing on paper developed during the Pinya era, the Inwa era, the Taungoo era, the Nyaungran era, and the Konbaung era.
Throughout the ages, poets, monks, and scholars have devoted their skills and social activities to writing. The three great books of the Buddhist scriptures, such as the Dhamma, the Ananda, the Atthakatha Pali, and the Po, Yatu, Mawkun, Yeting, Echin, Luta, Kachin, Echin, and Rakan, have also flourished on the book.
If Burmese literature began in the Bagan period, then it can be said that the foundation of Burmese literature was Pae. Therefore, Pae is the cradle of Burmese culture. I think it should be said that Pae preserved the Burmese cultural heritage and promoted Burmese culture.
Holding a line
The use of paper in writing was not limited to ordinary literary works, such as poetry, records, and business contracts. Orders and letters issued by parliaments were also written on large sheets of paper.
They used to write in a single-line, double-line, and triple-line script.
Apart from the long leaves of the Paka manuscript, there are four types of leaves that have been compiled into literary texts. They are ........ “Khansik, Shwe Min, Min Ni and Min Nek”. Although the names are different due to such modifications, the original source is the leaf. The leaf is picked from the leaf tree.
When the Burmese kings built temples, wells, and ponds and donated them, they often planted palm trees along with them. Just as they carefully cultivated palm trees, which are useful to people in many ways, they also prioritized the cultivation of betel nuts, which is indispensable to national culture. The king himself brought good-quality betel nuts in a velvet bag and poured gold and silver syrup on them.
The tree that is designated for use as a tree is carefully pruned to encourage the tree's buds to grow and develop. This is called "pruning."
The song "In front of you, six-six
Although it is called a leaf, the leaves that are spread out at the tip of the hand are not picked. The last bud or bud that comes out of the leaves is cut before it is fully grown. The bud or bud of the leaf should not be picked when it is still white. If it is too young, it will not be strong. If the leaf is left alone and the two leaves are separated from each other and spread out, it will not be smooth when writing, and it will break easily.
Only one bud is harvested from each tree at a time. The stem (stem) of the bud is cut off with a sharp knife and soaked in spring water for a day or two. Then it is dried in the sun until it is dry. However, it should not be dried until it becomes very brittle.
Then, the leaves are soaked in water to soften them. The first method is to soak them in rice vinegar and then dry them in the sun. Another method is to soak the leaves in plain water, add a little rice, and then dry them in the sun. No matter how you soak them, you should dry them until the water starts to foam. Only then will the leaves be tender.
The smooth leaves are placed one by one on a smooth wooden or betel nut board and "slided". The back and the inside are rubbed repeatedly until smooth. Then, they are washed and dried until the moisture is gone. Then, they are cut into equal lengths and covered with two wooden sheets.
