Osiris and Isis

In the primeval times of the world, when Osiris ruled, there was no death on earth. Humans lived forever. They had no weapons, such as swords and spears, and there was no war. The only sounds heard throughout the world were the sounds of music. All humans spoke sweetly to each other. All they could hear were speeches and the recitation of songs and poems.

Osiris taught humans to be intelligent. He also taught them to develop the arts. He taught them to grow grapes. He also taught them to grow wheat and fruit trees. He also taught them to grow flowers and enjoy their beauty.

He made laws so that humans could live in harmony without fighting with each other. He also taught them to understand and respect the gods.

These are the things that happened after Osiris appeared. Before he existed, the world had no form. The void was infinitely deep. The god of the void was called “Nuu.” From Nuu came the sun god called “Rei,” who was higher than humans. The god Rei created all forms. From his thought came the upper air and the lower air. The god of the upper air was called “Shu,” and the god of the lower air was called “Kephinet.” From this came the earth god called “Ketu” and the sky god called “Nap.” At first, the sky and the earth were connected. Later, the sky went up and the earth remained below, and they became separate.

From the eye of the god Rei came the first man and the first woman. Father "Kut" and mother "Nup" gave birth to Osiris. When he was born, a cry echoed throughout the world.

"Osiris, the Lord of All, is born, behold, all..."

"Osiris"... then his sister "Isis" was born again. Then "Drink" was born, the god of wisdom. Then "Nephthys" was born, and finally the violent god "Set". Set was the one who pierced his mother's body.

Osiris and Isis became husband and wife. They ruled the earth. The goddess was with them. She taught mankind to write. She also taught them to count. Set and Nephthys also became husband and wife. Set was the god of the desert. His temple was in the desert.

When Osiris taught humans how to farm, the desert became lush and green. They began to grow vines and flowers. If the desert were destroyed, the palace of the god Set would also be affected, so he did not like the desert to be green. He became angry with Osiris for teaching them how to farm.

Seth plotted to kill Osiris. He made various plans to kill him. But Isis was always alert, so his plans failed and he was able to avoid them. Seth plotted to kill Osiris. He found out the dimensions of Osiris' body. Without his knowledge, he measured his shadow and made a box that would fit his body exactly.

One day before the dry season, Seke held a great feast. He invited all the children of heaven and earth to come to the feast. The god of wisdom, Seke and his wife Nephthys, and Osiris and Isis were also present. Seke showed off the large box he had made. The box, made of a combination of fragrant woods, was “a delight to behold. Everyone loved it.”

Sek announced that there would be a fun event. He told everyone who came to the party that he would be giving away this beautiful box as a prize. Sek said that the one who best matched the contestant's body would win the prize. Kwe and Nap's children went inside the box and lay down to look. Sek himself went in to look.

Tuk and Aisik also came in. They were short and couldn't fit into the box.

Finally, Osiris took off his crown and lay down in the coffin. He had no more to do.

He came to his side and looked. He saw that the box fit perfectly with Osiris' body. He looked at it with awe. Osiris was about to possess a very beautiful box.

At that time, Set was not near Osiris. He was at a distance. He called his disciples. They all entered the dining room. There were seventy-two of them in all. He entered and closed the lid on the box where Osiris was lying, and struck it with nails. Then he melted the lead and soldered it. While the box was being closed, Set's disciples surrounded it - so that no one could enter and stop him.

After closing the large box securely, Rohsek led the way out of the hall. His disciples followed him, carrying the large box.

. Isis, Nephthys, and Tukh followed behind. It was already quite dark, so it was not easy. Soon the three of them were separated. . They could not find each other anymore.

He and his disciples threw the ark into the river. When the three of them reached the riverbank at dawn, they found that the ark had already been swept away by the river and into the sea.

Isis, weeping, followed the riverbank. Finally she reached the sea. She crossed the sea. But she could not guess where Osiris' body was. She searched all over the world. Her children gathered behind her and helped her find it.

The chest containing the body of Osiris was floating in the sea. After a while, the tide brought the chest to the shore. There was a young forest there. The growing branches pushed the chest between the trees. Finally, it entered a tree and was covered with its bark.

The name of the forest country is "Bibloe". The king and queen heard about a strange tree. The king's name was "Mekuo" and the queen's name was "Mekuo".

It is called "tae tae". The bark and branches of the tree are fragrant. The king ordered the tree to be cut down and the branches to be removed. The large log was placed as a pillar in the palace.

When Isis arrived in the kingdom of Byblos, she heard about a strange tree growing on the seashore. The children who came to her told her that when they went to where the tree was, they could not find it. They had cut it down and taken it to be used as a pillar in the palace.

The tree was fragrant, so Isis knew that there was a box inside. She sat by the tree stump day and night. Those who came to that place could see Isis's majestic appearance. She did not speak to anyone. When the queen heard about this, she came to her strangely from the tree. When the queen arrived, Isis placed her hands on her head. A fragrant fragrance came out of her body, which covered the queen's entire body.

The queen called the beautiful Isis to come with her to the palace. Isis went. In order to be close to the pillar with the big box, Isis took the job of taking care of the queen's child.
