Higher self
Your ego is a place filled with joy, creativity, intuition, peace, power, love, and all things good. This is called your “higher self.” At any given moment, your beliefs are growing and all seems right with the world.
Lower ego
Your ego is a place filled with self-doubt, fear, anger, helplessness, scarcity, and all sorts of negative thoughts. This is called the “lower self.” At some point in this place, your beliefs are lost and the world and everything seems wrong.
Thinking about the lower self
It's just a habit.
Yes, thinking only about the lower self is just a habit. The good news is that these habits can be broken. By making it a habit to think about the higher self, your fears will fade and your beliefs will grow.
Becoming a higher self-thinker
The task before you is set before you. It is to take all the steps necessary to become a higher self-thinker. Many of these steps are organized together in this little book on faith.
I think it's "high"
How can I know?
When you are thinking about creativity, intuition, peace, power, love and joy, and all things good, you are in the world of the higher self.
I'm thinking "low"
How can I know?
When you are dwelling on self-doubt, fear, anger, helplessness, scarcity, and negativity, you may be in the realm of the lower self. It is time to find a higher highway.
Being mindful is a good start.
Meeting a talkative person
I've met someone with a low ego, a lot of talk. The things they say are, "I'm not good enough," "I'll never get ahead," "Everyone can do it better than me," or other thoughts that pull away from your beliefs.
Please save me. May these people shut up.
I can't do it.
Once you notice a talker, you can't shut him up. When you're lying in bed, taking a shower, driving, eating, or whatever you're doing, this talker is trying to drive you crazy with scary thoughts.
