Nowadays, short poems are becoming popular. Some are mini-mellizines. Some are haiku. Some even write short poems with a name. Aung Chae-in and Thukha Main Hlaing have written them before. I have also written them. (1) Scenery, (2) Actress Mona Lisa, and young and middle-aged poets from Pai to Kantara Moe-sek also write them. Ko Khyul also writes them. His collection of poems "Lou Baw Kyi" has been popular since it was posted on Facebook. Now friends.

In the world of poetry, he is known as the "Along Ao" (Moe Way, Win Myint, Sai Win Myint). He is loved by many people. He is honest and gentle. He has a smiling face, and I have never seen him angry. Last year, his poem won the National Literature (Poetry Award) and is a milestone in the history of poetry. It is the first time in more than 50 years that a modern poetry book has won the award. We are happy for him and for modern poetry.

Many years ago, the university professor Maw also wrote poems that were based on the phrase "friend". His poems are moralistic. They seem to be giving advice, like admonishing words.
Ko Khyul's poems are intimate and warm. He confides his thoughts and feelings to his friends. He is said to be a poet. The sound of his poems is based on love, and it is like a sweet and juicy fruit. In some poems, he names the poets he is close to (Hein Myat Zaw, Lu San, Win Myint Khet Than Paing Soe, Way Kaung Moe Way, Zaw Lu Seung, Sa Thin, Moe Kyaw Thu, Min Htet Maung, etc.). He calls them friends, but he also calls them his younger brother, his younger sister's age Manaw Hari, Moe Dewa, Ambwe Zin, A Mon, Thurani, etc. Among the people he calls his friends are his wife Khin Htwe Yi, Charlie Chaplin, Nwe Oo Kengkel,

His poems are short. Clear. His eloquence is preferred over rhetoric. It seems simple.
However, since the poems are written with a focus on the immediate thoughts of everything that happens in society, there is a sense of philosophy and reflection that seeps in. Therefore, I accept that they are serious poems.
