Introduction
“Leadership is the ability to bring out the best in people, whether they are in a country, an organization, or a small group. Leadership is the ability to make a person stand out from the crowd. Some experts say that the forces surrounding this ability secretly help a leader develop the necessary innate qualities. (In fact, this is not true. This book will show you how leadership works and how to improve the skills you already have.) In fact, I would like to first inform you that the aforementioned strengths do not come naturally to you; they can only be acquired through constant practice.
When people say “leader,” they often think of someone as a CEO, a general, or the president of a country. They also think that a person cannot be a leader unless they hold one of these positions. In fact, that view is wrong. Whether you are in charge of a team of two or a larger group, you are still a leader. The larger the organization, the more employees it has. The more people you have to manage, the more qualified you need to be.
Although leadership is surrounded by a mysterious and unique set of skills, it can be defined very simply. It is the ability to bring out the best in your followers under any circumstances. If you can successfully live up to this definition, the performance of the organization you lead will improve, and the quality of the individuals in that organization will also improve.
At the same time, as your workplace and organization grow, you may be promoted or granted opportunities that you didn't have before.
Here I would like to explain a little about the difference between leadership and management. Some experts say that leadership is a part of successful management, while others say that management is only a part of successful leadership. Let's first look at management so that you can clearly see the difference between the two professions.
Typically, management is a preparatory phase. In short, it involves planning the activities to be carried out in relation to the implementation of a project and making decisions where necessary.
Leadership is the process of actively engaging participants in the implementation of a project to achieve the goals set for the planned project. In short, it involves personal communication, motivation, delegation, and supervision.
In other words, management is the process of turning ideas into plans, and leadership is the process of implementing those plans into reality. If you want to run any business successfully, you need to have both management and leadership skills.
Some habits of successful leaders
I think you can easily understand leadership if you examine why you respect someone you admire. Notice any unique behaviors or abilities that the person you admire has that are different from others. Write these observations down on paper and you will be able to identify the habits or characteristics of successful leaders, so that you can apply them to your own work and achieve success.
Reflecting on the above perspective, let's think about what kind of behavior or practice you expect from your leader. When you think about it, you will find that it roughly includes the following points:
Your leader is:
(1) It informs you of what you should know about the work you are doing.
(2) They respect your expertise and your ability in the business.
(3) As much as they help you improve your skills, they also take care of improving your position.
(4) He considers you as his colleague and has a sincere and friendly relationship with you.
(5) When assigning you tasks, you are given clear business objectives and only tasks that you are capable of doing.
(6) Gives positive guidance regarding your actions.
(7) If there is something to praise, I will praise it without hesitation.
(8) You are willing to help when you are very busy.
(9) As you understand what you want, you will be able to heal the wound and motivate your efforts.
(10) He admits his mistakes and is not afraid to apologize for them.
(11) Always supports you.
Remember, the more people you lead, the more skilled you will become. Only then will you be able to successfully carry out the tasks assigned to you. As you gain more and more experience in your life,
