What you can do and what you can't do
Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can do it or you think you can’t, you are always right.” In other words, if you think you will never get this job done, you will never get it done, and if you believe it will be done in no time, you will definitely get it done.
You are human like everyone else. You are no different from everyone else. Think of someone you know who is very busy and manages their work well. Think of someone who always brings you a bouquet of flowers from their garden.
If they can do it, why can't you? You just have to believe that you can. Or open yourself up to possibilities. You can't do something. Remember them whenever you think you can't. The important thing to really get things done is within yourself. Your belief that you can do it. Study people who have accomplished a lot without even trying. They also have a head, two legs, and two arms. They are no different than you. If they can do it, why can't you? They say that if you look for successful people without legs or arms, you can find them. So believe that the ability to do something or not is in your mind.
There must be a will to break the system.
We all want our lives to be organized in some way. We want to be the kind of people who always have clean, tidy kitchens and never have to fumble around for our car keys or house keys. We love the surprises and surprises of vacations, but we also want our meetings to be organized.
If you want to be more organized, you don't need to exert effort. You just need to be consistent and do what you say. It will never work if you think it's easy and superficial. You need to be a systematic person from the bottom of your heart. If you want to create real changes in your life,
It’s something you definitely want. It’s not something you’ve worked hard to achieve. If you haven’t reached that point yet, take a week or two to honestly examine your life and think about the times when your disorganized, unorganized, and chaotic life has caused you unnecessary anxiety. Have you ever worried about losing your travel ticket? Have you ever rushed to an appointment because you couldn’t get something done? Have you ever flipped through a stack of papers, frantically searching for something? And have you ever forgotten the birthday of someone important in your life? These are not life challenges. They are things that you have cultivated as your own personality over the years. Unless you confront and eliminate your disorganized mind.
When you realize that a lot of your stress can be reduced by being organized, you will be more likely to make a commitment to yourself to do something about it, to change it.
You don't need to change your personality.
If you think of yourself as a disordered person, it will be difficult to let go of it. Of course. No one is saying that you are a disordered person. You think of yourself as a free person, a non-bookworm, a natural person, a forgetful person, a person who goes through life easily. To people who are disordered, you might think that you are boring, unremarkable, a bookworm who goes through life simply and has no ambitions for the future. But you must have some family members and some friends. People who are not like that, who are calm and relaxed, not fussy.
How do you feel? I don't like the idea of being a bookworm, of being a systematic person. That's not how I want to be. But to be honest, I'm very systematic. I don't think that's my nature. I've spent a lot of time learning how to get things done, and I've refined my habits a lot over the years. Behind the scenes, I'm not a systematic person. I still use the usual methods of being excited, busy, and studying. I still have to find my glasses to write my daily to-do list.
So don't worry. You can transform yourself into a neat, organized person. At the same time, you can be a happy, relaxed, and free person. Even if you pretend to be organized, you will find that you are actually organized at work. So, keep your personality the same. Just be careful to change some important behaviors. Wear a mask at work. Not for the public. Not for you. The rest of your personal time, live as you want.
Know yourself.
Life is always busy, with endless to-do lists and endless debts. I know that if I could just change that, everything would be clear. But that never happened.
It's funny. I compared that problem to other people and found that it wasn't a problem for them. I like to be busy all the time. What do you think I do when I have free time? Do you think I'll play golf, read, sit in a coffee shop? I never do. I just find something to do to fill that free time. I have to say, because I like it.
Think about whether you like life to be that way. If that's what you really like, stop worrying. What you need to think about is the quality of life. I've had times when I didn't even have time to brush my teeth or go shopping. That was awful. But I was happy when I was working. So what did I have to worry about? I realized that I couldn't change it. So I just lived happily. That's how it is.
If you are that type of person, this book has a lot of techniques that will help you get things done faster. And it will also give you more time to do the things you want to do. But don't expect to get too much done. Because that's not your style. You will always try to fill your free time with something. Because that will always make you happy. But you will enjoy the feeling of completing one task at a time, even if it is a lot of work. Then you will naturally add new tasks to your pile. No problem. You are happy. If the old ones are not being replenished, that's fine. I like being busy. I don't like not getting anything done.
