The People's Parliament is for the people.
It's the parliament.
As the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the ethnic groups are working together to establish a united democratic state, discussing and negotiating openly, as is said in daily newspapers and journals. The President of the country, the self-styled ruling party, the Solidarity Party, and the opposition parties meet in the Pyithu Hluttaw. They discuss, speak, criticize, and oppose.
Look outside the parliament. There are protests and grievances here and there, and they are also the result of the dissatisfaction of the authorities and the people in various regions. The authorities, the military, have seized the farms of farmers in the regions and sold them to businessmen, and built factories there. The farms of some honest farmers have been seized and other businessmen have been hired to cultivate them, so the farmers have no other work to do, so they have to work as laborers in the confiscated farms.
When a parliamentarian openly discussed such a matter in parliament, a military parliamentarian (who automatically became a parliamentarian by 25% without a vote from the people) stood up and objected before the presentation was finished, saying that it was a statement that caused a rift between the military and the people. Looking at this, one wonders if they are not allowed to present the true story. When we hear that it is a statement that causes a rift between the military and the people... From the era of U Ne Win, the great leader who caused a rift between the military and the people, to the present day, the military has been in power and has been oppressing the people, attacking and bullying all ethnic groups, and allowing the military to seize power if necessary for about 50 years, and why do we not see these words that cause a rift between the military and the people, and should we say that we have only now come to see it clearly? I also think that the Tatmadaw's illegal confiscations will become more visible. I like the idea of not wanting the Tatmadaw to be separated from the people. Because all the Tatmadaw members today, from the military leaders to the people, were born and joined the Tatmadaw at the right time. The various taxes collected from the people who joined the Tatmadaw are used to feed the Tatmadaw members and pay the Tatmadaw members with the money that goes into the state treasury. No generals give or feed them from their pockets. Therefore, the Tatmadaw leader General Aung San, who first established the Tatmadaw in Burma, said that he would protect the people by calling it a "People's Army". If you think about it carefully, the answer is clear.
However, after the fall of General Aung San, the military leaders used a lot of state funds to spend on the military and tried to gain power. They gave them rights. We have heard from foreign news that leaders at all levels, regions, and townships sometimes do not take action, no matter how they report wrongdoings, to create a rift between the military and the people. It is human nature that if we take action against wrongdoings, we will not commit them again. If we do not take action now, we will continue to commit crimes from the lower ranks, from officers to soldiers. In fact, I know that you have committed crimes against the lower ranks to maintain the position and power of the military leaders. I do not take action, I do not know. That is why they organize themselves with the idea that they are loyal to me and make me appear to be a benefactor, and this is what causes a rift between the military and the people.
If we think about the natural world of humanity, if we look at it with compassion, one person will oppress another with power. If someone takes away their property, will they be satisfied? Because of power, because of power, they will not speak out because of fear. There will be no satisfaction at all. If it were me, would I not be able to do so? If I think about it, I know. Now, there are protests and farmlands. The fact that they are fighting with plows is because they are dissatisfied with the injustice and oppression they have been subjected to. This dissatisfaction is due to blood feud. If the Tatmadaw had been a military that truly protected the people from the beginning, and had built military barracks on farmlands and had not caused blood feuds from the beginning by talking about the importance of public safety and the possibility of an enemy invasion, then the farmers would be honest. They are filled with sincerity and faith. Since they are true believers in Buddhism, they would have built those military barracks and built them around them.
The news we are hearing now is that it was forcibly confiscated. During the Ma-Sa-La era, farmers were arrested and imprisoned on the grounds that they had not fulfilled their duties, and the party council elders seized the farmlands and used them for their own interests. Looking at these, we can see that the townships throughout Burma have been abusing their authority and power, and this has been going on for the past 50 years. The leaders have allowed the people to be intimidated and oppressed. This is what the armed groups, including the Tatmadaw, the administrative groups at all levels, and the people of all classes, have created to divide the people. In fact, the rest of the situation is that the people are oppressing the people. The names are the Tatmadaw, the police, and the administrative group. However, these organizations are the people who are members of the organizations formed by the government that governs the country. It is not a good thing for the people to be divided like this. There is a saying, “The cow is eating the tiger.” Therefore, the army, the police, the village, the ward, From townships and regions to state leaders and parliamentarians, we are also the people. We should have the same view that we are elected by the people and have the right to speak and act. The Tatmadaw representatives should think about the old history of the leaders who drafted the law and the right to be parliamentarians regardless of whether the people like it or not. Who caused the rift between the Tatmadaw and the people, and why? We should analyze it correctly. After all, once a son or daughter of the people joins the Tatmadaw, it is not possible to erase the fact that they are a son or daughter of the people. A son or daughter of the people is the people. If we see the truth like that, the people and the people will be free from oppression and injustice. This is compassion.
Therefore, in the People's Parliament, which is called the "People's Parliament", it is the duty of the people's representatives to responsibly report on the events and experiences of the people's lives. Therefore, it is necessary to present it as if thinking that the People's Parliament is truly a great People's Parliament that can reveal the truth through presentation, discussion, and negotiation, and walk forward free from falsehood. This will make the spirit of democracy free, open, and clear.
