As long as there are people who say, "I don't embrace the cycle," and kiss their grandchildren on the forehead, comedy will not fade.

If a person follows the path of their ancestors, nothing will happen. If they go north and north because they want to be seen as great, they will be called a traitor.

But if you look at it with a positive attitude and laugh at it, it will become a joke.

In Burmese humorous proverbs...

"If you think back on your actions, you'll be very happy and laugh out loud," he said.

In expressing humor, it is a way of expressing the perversion of everything through ideas, concepts, and words, and a certain perspective. "Than Chup, Don Chin, Saeng Sing, Pat Tay, Le Pyay Tho, Ra Kan Goi" are the six basic and authentic traditional humors that emerged from the joyous and cheerful hearts of the Burmese.

Humor is a science that is designed to correct wrongs and make those who are right happy, so there is no inappropriate element in it. Even the well-known irony is just a positive cry in a cheerful voice, giving a signal to correct the wrong worldview.

Which would you choose between talking cheerfully to someone and talking to them until they are barely audible?

A person's tongue is one of the parts that is mainly responsible for his success or failure. It can speak wrong words, it can swallow poison without knowing the taste. But it is also the tongue that speaks good words and sings beautiful songs.

Humor makes you speak powerfully, removes harsh and cruel behavior, and lifts your spirits. That is why the ancient masters included humor in the eighteen Athārasas and taught it.

I think about it.

What curriculum did the ancient masters use to teach the art of comedy in the eighteen akhtarassas? The ancient masters considered literature to be the most difficult art to teach among the arts.

I myself have read and collected everything related to comedy. However, I have never come across a single textbook on comedy. Therefore, the current confusion I am experiencing is the textbook on comedy that was taught by the ancient teachers in the Eighteenth Athārasā.

When I was young, I heard my older brother recite a poem. I didn't know who the poet was, and when I asked my older brother, he didn't remember either. So please forgive me for not mentioning the poet's name. The poem is simple.

The first-aged Maung Pho Te, plowing the field. The second-aged Ko Pho Te, plowing the field. The third-aged U Pho Te, plowing the field.

That's it, that's how it is.

We have also embraced comic literature. Since we have been involved, we want to fulfill our responsibility to comic literature. Therefore, we have decided to write the following title.

Remaining on the river surface

Snake footprints

This title is not my original title, but the title of a short story by my friend (who passed away too early), the writer Shin Htwe Han. I used his title because it reminds me of him, and because it fits the subject of my writing.

The topics I will continue to write about are about the literary writing skills I know.

“Aung Ma... what kind of person are you, what are you good at?” You might be asked. This collection of writings is not intended for scholars who are currently writing, but for those who are just starting out and are interested in writing, and for those who don’t know how to start writing. Therefore, I will present some of the writings I have written in an easy, clear, and understandable way, while re-extracting some of them and creating some new ones, as much as I can. All of these are (my) traces that will remain in the river of literature.

Since I decided to start writing, I have been reading books in the library for a year. With the knowledge I have gained there, how can I open a novel in a compelling way?

I think about it. I'm writing about humor. How do you present humor in a way that's engaging? That's the real problem.

There are some. Even if the novel is well written, the audience doesn't continue reading it because it doesn't attract them at first. I can't stand this. I'm a newbie, and my name is "Kakou Kakat," what if the audience doesn't read it? So I thought.

"Saw Kyi Phyu is a very cunning person."

This is the opening of comic novels that is still used hundreds of times today. It was used in ancient times. Even young people today write comic novels in the same way. I don't like this opening. (This is my opinion.)

There is one more thing.

"Everything went wrong because of what U Ba Maung said. What U Ba Maung said was, '-

This is the end of the novel. I don't like that either.

So, let's think back to the opening words of great novelists. (I'm kidding. I used the word "good opening" when I wanted to talk about the opening of a novel.)

Finally, I remember the opening of Dagon Tara's novel "May." The opening line of the novel is very beautiful.

"The breeze is blowing like a needle." That's how I opened the introduction to my novel.

"The Amaechi hook "O" that emerged at the same time as the land of the living"

In a comic book, it's an introduction that no one wants to open. But because of that line, the audience keeps reading the book. What I mean here is that it can also be used as 'contemporary to the world.' But I use the word 'contemporary to the world.' I use the word to make it richer and more meaningful. That means, even if we take a deep breath now, it's still contemporary to the world, right?

"And... once I start writing this novel, how will I present the humor? This is becoming important."

Experts have said that if you analyze every humorous subject, you will find nine types of humor.

1. Wit

2. Satire

3. Inappropriate incident (Burlesque)

4. Parody

5. Farce

6. Similar sounding words (Pun)

7. Riddle

8. Comic Simile

9. Writing from high to low (Bathos)

From there, you can break it down into various categories, such as incorrect answers, mockery, slang, and words with double meanings.

Among them, I wrote the opening of the poem using the method of writing from high to low (Bathos). Please look again.

When the girl I love, Myint San Yi, stopped with an amused "Oh!" sound, I, Saw Kyi Phyu, thought the girl's shoes had broken and ran out of the tea shop.
