Mental health

Everyone would agree that the most important thing we need every day is health. However, if we go a step further and analyze it, we will find that health has two parts: physical health and mental health (or well-being). This is because a person is a combination of form and mind (or mind). If the body is healthy but the mind is not happy, health will be incomplete without well-being. It is also important to note that well-being is the center of life. Even if the body is not healthy, it can be satisfied and contented as if it can fully enjoy the pleasures of life. Therefore, we should try to achieve well-being separately.

Our body consists of two parts, the body and the mind, and we need to understand how each one benefits the other. Materialists may tend to assume that only the body is dominant. Whatever our assumption, it must be based on objective data and be fair and balanced.

It is undeniable that the mind is the first and foremost motive in human effort and speech. After a thought arises in the mind, physical and verbal actions occur according to the motive. It is believed that material objects direct the mind in this or that way. This belief is due to the fact that various sensations such as like, dislike, desire, and aversion arise in the sense organs such as the eyes, ears, and tongue, depending on the appearance, sound, and smell. However, it must be noted that the influence and manipulation of the environment cannot be independent of the mind.

For example, a child who has little understanding of what good and evil are may be afraid to handle even the most frightening electrical current. He may also find that he can easily swallow fish oil and castor oil, which adults find offensive. He may even tear up valuable documents like pieces of paper.

At this point, it can be seen that the idea that matter can create and manipulate human actions without the mind's awareness is incorrect. It can change the course of behavior just as the mind can.

Here, not to mention children, but even adults who know, can see that the influence of consciousness is stronger than that of matter. For example, if a person who does not know about rubies is asked to pick up a raw ruby stuck in the mud from the ground, he will simply consider it an ordinary red stone and be happy. If the ruby is of very good quality and worth tens of thousands of dollars, he will be so happy that he will want to jump up and dance. This extraordinary feeling of feeling is only due to consciousness. The material is only one kind. Similarly, when the same bread is served in a box with the logo of a famous bakery, the person who eats it thinks that it tastes better because he knows that it is made by a famous bakery. This greater feeling of happiness is not only due to the material, the logo of the famous bakery. The breads with that label are known to be very good because of the knowledge and experience of the past. Without that knowledge, no brand can make the taste more unique.

These examples are just a glimpse into how much the mind can manipulate the human being. Happiness is the key to all of life, and that benefit is

We will have the opportunity to discuss in detail how worthy and full of happiness life is by receiving grace.

The mind, however, should not be left out of the fact that it is based on the body. Whether the mind is based in the brain, where the nerves are located, or in the heart, where the blood is pumped throughout the body, it is clear that it is based on the basis of the body. As long as the body is light and lively, the mind is fresh and cheerful, and the body is young and happy. When the body is destroyed and dies, the soul leaves and changes and passes on to the next life. Therefore, many examples can be shown that the body and the mind are mutually beneficial.

Here, although the health of the body can be cured by doctors who are skilled in the art of medicine, the health of the mind cannot be cured by others, but can only be achieved by seeking the art of self-treatment. If you want to treat yourself to be happy, it is easy; if you do not want to treat yourself, happiness will be far away.

In fact, everyone wants to be happy. However, happiness does not depend on oneself. One cannot cure oneself. The environment and circumstances have created unhappiness, and one cannot do anything about it. They think that unhappiness can only be cured by other people and other changing circumstances, and they ignore it as if they cannot cure a mental illness that they themselves can cure. This idea is very wrong. In treating happiness, this obsession must first be eliminated. Once this obsession is removed and one firmly believes that one can cure one's unhappiness by oneself, half of the unhappiness will automatically disappear.

The ways to live a happy life do not require medicine. They do not require tools. They do not require other people. They do not require money. With just knowing the method and practicing, you can easily move unhappiness away, just like pushing an ice cube off a tile. You just need to believe in yourself and rely on yourself. The key to living a happy life is to push out the unhappiness that has come in and to block the unhappiness that has not yet come in.

We will have to seriously consider the following points.

What is unhappiness?

Where does unhappiness come from?

Who is to blame for the unhappiness?

If you understand these basic principles thoroughly, it will be easy to avoid and escape unhappiness.

What is unhappiness?

The Buddha defined the types of unhappiness more than 2,500 years ago. Unhappiness is essentially the sum of suffering. In other words, it is the feeling of being affected by suffering. This suffering can be divided into two parts.

On the one hand, there is the suffering of birth, aging, illness, and death, which are eternally present in the world and cannot be escaped.

The rest is the kind of suffering that arises and does not arise according to the movements of the mind and body of people. These include the suffering of not being able to find one's beloved, the suffering of being forced to follow someone who does not love or like someone, or the suffering of being forced to follow someone who does not want to, and the suffering of not being able to do what one wants. If we count only one kind of suffering that is not desired, it encompasses thousands of different kinds of suffering in the human world. The suffering that people experience the most in the human world, the type of unhappiness that occurs the most, is included in this suffering. Being separated from relatives and friends is also an unavoidable suffering, and being imprisoned or imprisoned is also an unavoidable suffering, and being free from the desire to be free is also an unavoidable suffering, so it is the widest range of undesirable suffering.

When these sufferings arise, unwanted feelings arise in the mind, and these feelings in various forms disturb the mind, making it restless. Such disturbances include the development of anger that is so intense that it is impossible to stand still and jump. The anger that is constantly flowing out only makes the mind restless and restless. Ignorance, which blocks the mind from being able to make correct decisions, foresee danger, and distinguish between right and wrong, and makes it wild and wild, also disturbs the mind. The desire for things that are not easy to get, to have, to possess, and to be possessed, also stirs the mind up and makes it restless. The feeling of anxiety, sorrow, lamentation, and suffering, The unspeakable sorrow of discontent, the unforgiving anger of others

All kinds of evil thoughts, such as greed, which leads to greed, and greed, which leads to greed, are caused by the cause.
