Human knowledge
There are countless millions of species of living beings in the world of beings. It is said that there are nine million on land and ten million in water. The number of living beings is also increasing. It is very fortunate to be a human being in that world of beings. Humans are the most intelligent and advanced beings, and according to the scriptures, it is more difficult to achieve human life than for a needle from the human world to touch the tip of a needle from the Brahma world. It is as easy as a turtle's head entering the hole of a log floating in the great ocean. It is very difficult to achieve human life. The human nature is difficult to achieve. A person who has achieved such a difficult life does not use his life worthily, If we were to perish without trying, like a drop of water in the ocean, it would be a very painful and pitiful loss.
When we become human, we have responsibilities and rights. As a human being, we can enjoy the pleasures of life. However, pleasures do not come easily. We have to work hard to achieve them. When we become a human being, we have to fulfill our human responsibilities. (Or) we have to work. Without work, life cannot be sustained or progressed.
From the moment you are born, you cry to expand your belly and expand your lungs. You breathe air. You suck milk to build your body. These are also duties and tasks. If you don't do what you have to do, you won't survive, you will die.
As we grow up, we need to eat. We need to protect ourselves from the heat and cold. Our parents are responsible for taking care of us, and we have to be independent in our future. We also have to prepare in advance. The mother bird brings us food and feeds us with shells. When it is time to fly, we learn to fly and find our own food and live our lives. People are the same. From a young age, we learn skills to earn money for life. We study hard and hard for years to acquire good skills, such as eloquence, craftsmanship, knowledge, and skills. When we become educated and become adults, we find work. We work. It is not easy. Finding a spouse to build a house is also not easy. The results depend on our own accomplishments and efforts. When we become a family, we also have to earn money, take care of those in charge, grow and prosper, They work hard until they die for the sake of a happy life, and they are tired again.
According to the view of the saints, being born means entering the pit of suffering, experiencing various kinds of suffering, from old age, birth, and death. Although human life is a blessing, it is not free from suffering and responsibilities. It is not strange that one enters this life with the promise of fulfilling suffering and responsibilities, and that one has to work for life and become familiar with suffering.
If you become a human being, you must understand your human responsibilities. You must take responsibility whether you want to or not. As a human being, there are things to fulfill and things to do. Even the Buddha, when he was striving to attain Buddhahood, had to fulfill and strive with the aim of attaining Buddhahood, saving his family and all beings in the world, and leading them to salvation.
Every action in life must have a purpose. We must strive to fulfill that purpose. What do we need to do when we become a person? What purpose should we have? Everyone needs to know it in advance. We must walk the journey of life guided by that knowledge.
A person must provide for his own life. He must also help his relatives and community. He must also work for the people and citizens who are related to him. If possible, he must try to leave behind deeds and inventions that can benefit all mankind. A person who can succeed in his life is a great man. A person who can benefit mankind is a great man. There are martyrs who have sacrificed their lives while protecting mankind, and martyrs who have sacrificed their lives while inventing for mankind. Many people have benefited from such great men and martyrs. Not only do we enjoy the benefits of their inventions and efforts, but we must also try to be someone who can somehow serve the interests of mankind like them.
In this way, we can understand that a person's responsibility is not small, and that human responsibilities can be as great as their ability and knowledge. We can understand how much effort and fatigue a person has to put into their life, even for their own survival and progress and success.
In human life, we have to struggle hard just to survive. Each person has different intelligence, hard work, environment, opportunities, and fortune. There are those who thrive. There are those who are not well off and are simply living life. In any case, everyone has the desire to grow and develop, so if the way of striving is right, they will achieve the desired progress.
Everyone has a head, two arms, and two legs by nature. People with two heads and three arms and legs sometimes appear, but such supernatural beings do not live long. Even if they live, they do not have any special abilities that are more extraordinary than ordinary people. Like most people, although they have the same head, their brains are different in power and how they work. In terms of intelligence, there are differences between those who are good at thinking, thinking, and remembering. However, this intelligence can be developed and trained, and those who are less intelligent can support and supplement it with diligence.
It is necessary to understand that we cannot live in isolation in life. We must teach and give knowledge to those who do not understand in childhood. In the world, both plants and animals have to work hard to survive. They have to avoid danger and find and eat food. Plants and animals that stand on their own cannot survive and die early. They can only survive if they are able to survive and do what they should do.
A seemingly lifeless tree absorbs water. It absorbs gases from the air. It releases unwanted gases. It makes food with light. It grows seeds to prevent them from rotting. Old leaves fall off and new leaves are produced. It withstands the effects of the weather. It sways with the wind and is held firmly by its roots. If it does not do its job, the tree cannot survive. In addition, it produces fruits according to its needs. Its roots, bark, leaves, etc. are useful in some way. They are useful as food, as medicine, as windbreaks, as shade, as soil conditioners, and as ornaments. People cut down trees that are completely useless. They are thrown away as firewood. They are sure to be fed to cattle and buffaloes.
Even if trees can work like that and benefit the world, then there is no point in talking about the highest life of all living beings, humans. They must move, strive, struggle, and plan.
A wealthy foreign merchant saw his eight-year-old son, a young student, being forced to sell peanuts in his spare time. Those who saw him accused the father, “Are you so poor? Why do you have to sell your child?” Then the rich man explained. How did they make money? How did they make money?
