Positive signs for society

Here are some encouraging developments in our country right now:

All that is emerging is known. Among them are the remarkable changes in the political sphere, which is the center of all national affairs.

The signs of what is coming have raised the level of hope of our citizens to the highest level in more than two decades. This is not just the attitude of those of us who have been in Burma all along. We hear voices from those who have been abroad in connection with the 1988 movement, who are watching with interest the future of the country. I recall that a former activist turned scholar of the armed student organization called the All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF), which emerged as a result of the 1988 movement, came to a seminar in Nay Pyi Taw and said, “I am shaking because I have never seen such a situation in twenty years.”

Civil society organizations

As the political situation in our country (although it is still very slow and uncertain) continues to change, one area of change that I have noticed is the field of civil society. We are constantly hearing about groups of like-minded people coming together to focus on specific charitable causes.

Environmental protection groups formed with the aim of challenging global warming (or climate change), blood donation groups formed with the aim of providing blood to the poor and needy whenever and wherever they need it, blood donation groups formed with the aim of providing education to those who cannot afford tuition fees and are far from basic or higher education, education donation groups formed with the aim of providing education to those who cannot afford tuition fees and are far from basic or higher education, education donation groups formed with the aim of providing support to children who are always left behind and behind in society because they do not have parents, who are worthy of being called the first teachers of humanity, namely mothers and fathers, orphans support groups formed with the aim of providing support to those who are unable to demand justice in a world where people do not live a hundred years but face a hundred cases, legal aid groups formed with the aim of supporting those who are unable to demand justice in a world where people do not live a hundred years but face a hundred cases, While international-class hospitals are springing up one after another, I cannot help but praise the health charity groups that have been formed with the aim of providing all possible help and care for the health of the "Phuket Pyae Su Khru San Kyut" class, who have to go to camps with only a few spices from a betel nut shop.

We are seeing and hearing about a few small charitable groups emerging these days.

The Thumingalar Foundation Seminar was held last Saturday, September 3-4 at the Shwe Pyithar Monastery near the Mawbi Nyaung Tree. Ashin Thumingalar, known as the Deo Oh Sayadaw, invited more than 1,000 charitable organizations and organized a seminar for charitable organizations.

A seminar on mutual cooperation was held.

He also presented the preparations for the establishment of the Thumingalar Foundation. He was the guest speaker at the seminar, which was attended by about 3,000 people.

I arrived. I was very happy and honored.

In fact, our citizens have become famous not only in the field of helping those in need, but also in the field of charity work, even beyond the local level and reaching the world level. It is a well-known fact that every foreigner who has ever visited our country cannot help but express his admiration for the friendliness and helpfulness of our citizens. In parallel, as a combination of this spirit of helping and freedom, civil society organizations have flourished in our country.

But as we all know, the political changes that took place in the early 1960s transformed this area, as did other areas of our society. The “Law for the Protection of National Unity” enacted in 1964 ended the existence of political parties other than the Burma Socialist Programme Party in Myanmar. At the same time, those civil society organizations, which were merely branches of politics, did not disappear completely, but they gradually weakened and weakened.

Opportunistic ideas If we look at the mentality of the majority of the people, it is true that opportunistic ideas such as "stay away from the rich and do not enter", "do not do anything", "do not steal", "do not steal", "do not steal", "do not steal", "do not steal", "do not steal", "do not steal", "do not steal", "do not steal", etc. have become widespread. In this situation, civil society organizations, which work together for the common good on a free and equal basis and among like-minded people, have not completely ceased to exist, and religious organizations still exist in the form of a ghost. We can also thank the strong and strong spirit of public service of our citizens.

Stay connected.

In fact, organization is something that was born almost as soon as we humans. In the prehistoric era, humans, who were not as strong as elephants and rhinoceroses, not as strong as tigers and lions, not as venomous as snakes and snakes, not as light and fast as deer and gazelles, were completely dependent on society, which bound them together and bound them together, for their survival.

Therefore, experts say that "Humans are a social animal that can only survive through organization."

They have been saying it. It has been proven time and again that anyone who has tried to separate this inherent right of man from man in any way has failed.

Now, we are beginning to see signs that a democratic state, which all citizens have been hoping for, is about to emerge in our country. At this time, the emergence of civil society organizations is a sign of the love of the country.

It is a situation that everyone should welcome warmly. In today's era of globalization, the needs and wants of people are increasing day by day, and it is becoming more and more obvious than before that it is impossible for the government to solve all of them. That is why civil society organizations have emerged according to the situation and need. In other words, these organizations are not a negative sign for governments that are truly serving the interests of the country. They are a positive sign. I believe that the Myanmar government led by President U Thein Sein is well aware of this.
