Summer madness
When summer comes, I always feel like running away from home. I think it's because I'm still young, and I'm already married, so I haven't yet become a good husband and father.
When summer comes, there is no problem for the rich. In the morning, the windows are closed, and in the evening, they are opened again... The cool breeze that comes in through the windows is gentle... The furniture arranged on the stone terrace is lit by dim lights, each object has its place, everything is in order. It is clean and tidy. The whole house is quiet and cool.
If you are thirsty, a waiter will bring you a glass of very delicious iced tea on a beautiful platter. The cold tea will be orange juice, balsamic vinegar, or lemonade. There will also be a glass with ice cubes in the platter. The sound of stirring the cold glass with a spoon will surely be pleasant.
Well...but in the homes of the poor, the situation is reversed. In the summer, when the sun is hot, the heat is forced into the small, cramped rooms. If you are thirsty and want to drink water, you can get it. But the water that comes out of the kitchen tap is scalding hot. It is so hot that it is like a completely tasteless soup.
Inside, there was no space, and you couldn't even move around freely. Tables, chairs, clothes, household appliances, and kitchen utensils were piled up on top of each other, making it a mess. Everyone in the room had their shirts rolled up. The shirts were also soaked with sweat and smelled bad. If you closed the windows, the whole room would be stuffy. The night air couldn't get into the room that sleeps six people at all. So you couldn't even breathe. If you opened them again, the sun from outside would force its way in. Everyone was sunbathing. It felt like they were standing on the street. Along with the heat, the smell of sweat, dust, and other unpleasant odors spread throughout the room. When people are under a lot of heat, they also become different. Their personalities are irritable. Angry. Aggressive. If you get a little upset, they don't hesitate to fight. For a rich person, if it gets too hot in one place, they can go into other rooms and stay. For the poor, they have to live in one room, huddled together. They have nothing to do with fish in a fish tank. They want to live among pots, glasses, and piles of clothes. If they can't, they have to go out into the street.
One of those very hot days. I had a fight with my wife. Not only was the soup too thin, but it was so hot that I couldn't even drink it. First, I had a fight with my wife. In my opinion, my husband has no right to do that. This guy is unemployed and has been relying on my salary for a long time. In the meantime, my husband's wife has intervened on my behalf and protected me. So, I continued to fight with that girl. Because this girl has been trying to be nice to me for a long time. She has been acting dishonestly and I am angry.
While I was fighting with him, my mother came in and tried to persuade me not to get angry. I got even angrier when my mother told me, so I continued to argue with my mother. And I continued to argue with my father. Because while I was arguing with my mother, she kept saying that she should eat her food calmly. In the end, I got angry with my daughter too. Because she was crying...
I couldn't control my anger. I jumped up from my seat and grabbed the jacket that was hanging on the chair. Then... "I'll tell everyone, I'm tired of you all, you know, I'll be back in October. In the meantime, don't expect me..." I said angrily and left the house.
