Author's note
After returning from England in 1969, in 1970, the author published his first medical and sex education book, Scientific Married Life. The book described the normal physiology, physiology, and psychology of men and women, and described how husbands and wives should live and interact to create a happy marriage. The readers liked the book very much and asked him to continue writing about men and women, so the author continued to write. However, he was unable to fully describe only male diseases or only female diseases.
Especially the books on women, which are considered good and popular by readers, the book on women's health, and the books on young women's health, have not been able to fully describe women's diseases. In fact, the book on women is about the normal nature of women, while the book on women's health is only about self-care, childbirth, and health.
The book Apophak Lupauk is related to boys and girls in their early teens and teenage years. It does not deal with diseases that affect all women. These books have actually been published for a long time. The Women's Book was published in 1972, and the other books were published before the end of 1978, so compared to 1990, it has been a generation since then, from more than 10 to about 17 years.
During this period, there were many changes in the world and Myanmar, and many new medical inventions were invented. During this period, the changes in the concept of women, the new developments in medicine and education were also amazing. For example, before 1980, the movement for equal rights for women (Equal Rights for Women) was not mentioned, but now 4-5 years later, that movement has gained momentum and is successful. Methods of testing whether women are pregnant have improved, and even methods that can be tested by themselves have been developed. In some countries, the mother has even been allowed to terminate a pregnancy if she does not want it. New sexually transmitted diseases have appeared. For example, genital herpes, AIDS, etc.
During these 10 years, the author also read about women with interest and noted down the things that were worth noting. The help school also gave advice to women patients. Articles and novels about women were also written and published in monthly magazines such as Kavya, Lonmalay, Shumawa, Pe Phu Lath and others. He also wrote and published articles in other magazines, books and magazines. Articles that have not been published anywhere. There are many. Therefore, this book has been compiled and published for those who want to know about women's diseases and the latest medicines. It is said that the hand that rocks the cradle can rule the world, so may Myanmar women keep pace with the times.
