The reasons for independence are... Since the 8th day of the waning moon of the 12th month of the 12th century, King Thibaw's death occurred one after another. Within 5 years of his death, patriotic Burmese figures such as General Aung San's grandfather, Bo Min Ryuung, fought the British colonialists with arms and fought back. Then, they formed political organizations and tried to gain independence within the administrative laws and regulations. There were also figures called Min Laung who could not abandon violence.

Once again, they abandoned the use of force and sent Burmese representatives to Bila Thar to demand the return of Burmese independence. Then, the first university strike, the Saya San strike, the bloody student uprisings of 1936 and 1938, the oilfield strike, the uprising led by the Thirty Comrades, the anti-Japanese uprising, the 1941-42 uprising, the 1942-43 uprising against the British, and so on, and the flames of the uprising continued to flare up one after another.

Among the audience, there are mostly those who have personally experienced these uprisings. They have also experienced the significant changes in their lives due to these uprisings. What is the meaning of these uprisings?

These great uprisings are the great uprisings that unite the entire Burmese nation. They are the great uprisings that open the political eyes of the Burmese people. These great uprisings that mobilize the country and the world are, in fact, nothing more than the Burmese people's efforts to become a modern nation that can keep pace with the world. It is these great uprisings that have led the Burmese people to struggle hard to free themselves from the tight bonds of politics and economics.

When the axe is used to cut the wood of a tree, it cannot withstand the blows and breaks, just as the wood of a tree cannot withstand the blows, so the Burmese people have worked hard and tirelessly to achieve independence, and all their efforts have finally come to fruition in the great independence that we have now in our hands. Although Burma, which has been independent since the beginning of the world, has fallen under the rule of others, the seed of independence has not yet sprouted. The seeds of independence have sprouted from the seeds of independence, which were nurtured with the blood of the Burmese people during the great uprisings. The storm of imperialism has tried to crush the young sapling of independence. However, the Burmese people have grown the sapling of independence with their blood, and now the sapling of independence is ready to be harvested and enjoyed.

Therefore, these great uprisings, which were the reasons that led to the creation of this great independence, are documented in this great independence publication.
