The great French philosopher Pascal said, “Man is a reed” more than three hundred years ago. It is fitting to compare man to a reed. A reed is a very fragile little plant. The strength that comes from being weak is stronger than being strong and powerful. If you follow the wise advice of “be flexible,” you will eventually reach your destination. You need to be flexible. Like a reed, being flexible is not because you are weak, but because you have rejected opposition and have not allowed life to collapse.

Man is like a reed. However, he is not a tree like a reed, but a thinking creature, and therefore has the original ability to dominate and manipulate the world. Because he is able to think, criticize, and draw truth from error and apply it, man will always exist in the world for generations. Philosophers believe that he will not only exist, but also dominate the world.

I think the readers already know a lot about thought. To summarize, thought is present in everyone. It is a weapon of human life, and the weapon that we have acquired must be used for good. However, it is especially necessary to have the right way of thinking. To have the right way of thinking, intelligence and diligence are the necessary ingredients.

The mind is like a sword. The mind must be sharpened like a sword. The mind must be sharpened with thought. "Thought" is the calling of experience by thought. The senses that enter people every day, every hour, every minute, every second, are forming the seta-sikas that manipulate the mind. These seta-sikas are "experiences". Thinking is done based on experience. After thinking arises from experience, reflection is done, and even from superficial view to thought, because it grows through intelligence, the mind becomes clear and the original nature is distinguished from truth and error.

From thought comes vision. The path is experience, through experience comes thought, through thought comes thought, through thought comes vision.

Humans always have experience. They are always experiencing. Whether that experience is big, small, or ordinary, it is the “food” for thought. For those who practice thinking, they must use their own intelligence (innate intelligence) to think from experience to the level of thought. Once a small idea has been formed, they must use their intelligence to gather as many ideas as possible that can be expanded from that small idea. If the idea that is formed is thought and then thought is compared with the intelligence, the idea will come to be realized. If that idea is further analyzed with the intelligence, then they will have “view”.

When it comes to intelligence, materialist scientists examine the brain. The brain is the most difficult part of the human body to understand. When we examine the brains of people who are gifted with intelligence, we find that there are no significant differences. The brains of some of the world's most famous people are purchased before they die and then taken out and examined after they die. No matter how much we examine them, they say that there is no significant difference between them and the brains of ordinary people.

Although it is said that the mind comes from the brain, it is difficult to find the place where the mind resides in the brain. Those who can only see the form because the mind is not the form are mistaken. Some materialists conclude that “the mind is an illusion.”

From the mind arises intelligence. That intelligence is present at birth. If intelligence is compared at the time of conception, it is said that a being is more intelligent than the other. Intelligence, which is one of the weapons of mankind, is an innate property. Intelligence, which is due to the acceleration of good karma, comes with the body at the time of conception. For those who are less virtuous, there is poor intelligence. For those who are unwholesome, there is intelligence that encourages unwholesomeness. Therefore, “good intelligence” and “bad intelligence” are shown in people from birth by their character. It is intelligence that indicates character. Everyone has at least normal (normal) intelligence. There are not many people who are endowed with intelligence.

If people with average intelligence study philosophical literature to sharpen their intellect and develop “thought practice,” they can attain a sharp and intelligent intellect.
