Author's note

These Sanwa Mi Mye novels came to the Bagan Library from Maung Thein Seng. The manuscripts were sent by the late Maung Maung (Okkala) on 28-5-2002 and arrived in Bagan in August 2006 after undergoing the Byagajsa practice.

It has been more than twenty years since I began writing about the sons and daughters of Sanwa Mi Mye and the story of their mother. The Sanwa Mi Mye stories that came to Bagan from Maung Thein Seng include eleven short stories. Two of the stories are incorrect due to a mistake during copying.

When that great calamity came to me, I removed two incomplete and ill-written pages. I spent the whole day trying to fill in about seven more.

Only four. Then the above paragraph came into being. It has been more than ten years since I started writing about the San Wa and Mi Mye family. So why are the San Wa and Mi Mye manuscripts not in print?

Then the National Honor Magazine appeared. The editor-in-chief of that magazine, Myin Mu Maung Naing Moe, helped me to breathe by giving me three or four months' advance payment for my manuscripts and publishing short stories. Therefore, the National Honor Library published ``Mother Stories, ``Father Stories, ``Mother Father Stories, ``Mother, Daughters'' Mother and Mother's Stories. It was at this time that the shortage of traditional short stories began to emerge. To be more certain, I will look at the record and say this.

(1) The Mother novels were published in December 2002. (2) The Mother and Father novels were published in November 2003. (3) The Father novels were published in November 2004.

(4) The novels "My Daughter's Mother" and "My Mother's Mother" were published in August 2005. The latest volume contains three long and four short magazine novels.

I think there are about fifty stories in total from No. 1 to 3. I think there will be at least twenty stories about San Wa Mi Mye among those fifty. This is because the stories about Kyaw Thu San among the San Wa Mi Mye novels are mostly short stories like Am Myat Myat and Apa Myat Myat.

This is because there was no prior plan to publish the collection of short stories (under the title Sanwa Mi Mya).

Is this Samwa Mimye manuscript included in the mother's works? ` If Win is included, ` add it . ' Thus, Samwa Mimye is not included.

Now, if Maung Thein Seng had not requested it, the Sanwa Mi Mye family would not have met. He named these short stories ``Talin Kaung Chain'', but the manuscript of Talin Kaung Chain was left out due to incorrect transcription, so the book's name is not known.

` San Wa Mi Mya' was sent. In this way, the San Wa Mi Mya that came to Bagan from Maung Thein Seng was given special care to avoid including the San Wa Mi Mya that included ` Ama Nawgyi ' and ` Apa Nawgyi ', which were published as national titles .

It is the best effort a writer can make for his readers. I think that it is appropriate to hang a sign saying "I apologize" for not being consistent with the saying that literature is a mirror of the times.

Sinphyu Island Aung Thein

September 16, 2006.

A village that cries in the summer

" Hey, Aye Ma, the teacher ordered you to come and get treatment, why didn't you come and get it?"

Hearing Ko Po Dan's loud voice while grazing cattle, San Wa got up from the cowshed. This cowshed was not as tiring as grazing with a staff, but sweat was dripping from his back and chest. The golden straws, about an inch long, stuck to San Wa's chest. Not only his chest, but also his arms, neck, and legs were stuck to it because of the sweat.

`` Oh, brother, Pho Dan ''

As he walked on, a large silk umbrella tucked under his arm and a worn-out bag in his hand, Ko Pho Dan stopped abruptly and looked up.

" Did your wife order it?"

Sanwa didn't ask anything, he just gave the information. " I saw you giving away salt, so I'll line up and buy it."

In San Wa, Kan Son Ping Hla village, there is a slight shortage of salt. The salt that the cooperative distributes is usually red and large. So, when I have the opportunity to buy this white salt freely, I have to wait in the sun.

She was left in line. For a farmer, the heat was not unusual.

" Wait, what were you shouting just now? I heard you say Aye Ma."

`` Yes, Aye, the city's ophthalmologist told Aye to talk, and she's good at talking, and her mouth is sour, so give her a cigarette.

A cigarette was hanging in San Wa's mouth. He was blowing out smoke and biting it with his mouth as he chewed the food.

The cigarette holder had already sunk into the cigarette holder. The fire had died down. Ko Po Dan pulled out the cigarette and squeezed the cigarette holder. The saliva dripped down from the cigarette holder in a rat-like pattern.

" My dog is already carrying a lot of saliva, and there is no fire, so let's throw it away."

`` Don't shoot me, I'm going to light a fire.

He ran to the place where the cows were being fed and brought a lighter. At that time, Ko Pho Dan had already reached the bench behind the horse's saddle under the canopy. The place where he drank water from the new water pot with a new spout...

" Is it cold, my dear? A pot of Myaung Kwa, a pot of Yanmfo Kone?" he asked after a moment and finished drinking.

" Tell me what's wrong, doctor," Sanwa asked as he handed me a lighter and sat down. " Aye Maka's eyes were ' Kin ' , Myint Dwey's eyes were furrowed, and both of them were the ones who ordered. If she was lost, she would disappear with one hand. She would carry me, and if the man didn't let her go because she was not sure, she would call the man."

" I'll do it, this doctor."

After saying that, both of them burst out laughing. The traces of smiles remained on their faces.

The doctor, who came to the township with the eye disease eradication project, is respected by the people of the villages, including Kansun Pinhla. Most of the people who come to him with eye problems, eye diseases, short eyelashes, chicken pox, and eye infections are villagers. Although he does not smell anything from the clean person, he still smells like `` sunshine ''.

He examined these sun-scorched, sweaty, and stinking people without frowning or frowning. It was also very funny.

That's why San Wa, Ko Pho Dan and others said with satisfaction, " I'll do it, this doctor is good ."

" On your side, he personally rides a tractor to visit people who haven't been here for a long time, like Ushispin and Tapinkone."

`` Far away, far away.

" Oh, it's a bit far, he thought to himself. Normally, Tabaung, Tagu, and Kason are hell for people with bad eyesight, aren't they?"

Ko Po Dan said, blinking and looking around at the scorching sun.

Then, the hellish times of the hellish seeker also began to flash before Sanwa's eyes.

The saying, ``The higher the sun, the more crazy it is,'' was reserved for Sanwa. As the sun rose higher, Sanwa became restless and restless. The reason for this was the sound of the mother's cry.

The screams were not small, nor did they say, "Please save me." When the time came to receive alms, they heard only a little more than a sob. Then, as the heat of the sun rose, the cries grew louder.

My eyes hurt.

When my eyes hurt, I could only warn them, `` Don't be so easy on me, my dear. '' Since I was still in a relationship, I didn't say anything more. However, because I had already covered my eyes with love when I looked at my lover, looking at my dear's eyes, which were about to hurt, was as beautiful as a ruby in my heart. It was so beautiful.

It was not comfortable for the athlete to sleep. It felt like dust or sand was getting into his eyes, and he was almost dizzy.

" Mom, I don't know if my eyes hurt," I told my mother. " Show me, Apu."

My name is Mi Mye. However, my sisters, aunts, and uncles affectionately called me Apu, so my relatives called me Apu.

My mother looked into my eyes and said, " Just put some salt in it and it will disappear. " My mother, without hesitation, took some salt from the salt shaker and sprinkled it on the stone surface. She crushed it with a bottle.

The salt that had been crushed on the rock was rubbed into her eyes with her fingers and saliva. The salt powder was applied to her upper and lower eyelids, making her look unique and beautiful. In the eyes of all the San Wa people, that evening, Mi Mee was the most beautiful. Ko Pho Dan, poking San Wa's chest with his elbow, said, " I've started to like your woman, hey, it's just that we're different in age. "

The patient's eyes were not getting better. He rubbed the salt on them, but they did not heal. His eyes hurt. As the sun rose, his eyes became more and more painful. It hurt more and more. It hurt. He put his face on the pillow.
